    a birthday decoration

It had been several years since I visited Chuck-e for a birthday party, but by far, this was the best experience yet! Celebrating my little prince and his seven years of a wonderful life, my daughter booked this Chuck E. Cheese in the Pompano Citi Center. I can't begin to tell you how nice, clean, spacious, and all-around superb this place is. I wasn't able to get all the deets, but they must have recently remodeled because everything looks brand-spanking new and shiny! The two party coordinators assigned to us, also took care of another party simultaneously but nothing was spared--not the food, nor the service--not even the entertainment with Chuck-e himself. The kids and kids-at-heart made their way around and through all of the games, tables and rides. A couple of the men went and got themselves beer too--but they had enough sense as to sit in a different area away from the little ones. I really appreciated that and so did a couple of other moms. As far as the food, we had pizza which was hot and made to order. The drinks were refilled often and they also gave us a pitcher with ice so that we could refill our water from the soda fountain as often as we needed to. In the end, the kids went to redeem their tickets which were automatically saved onto their reloadable game cards connected to a plastic wristband. How convenient!! This was super cool because we weren't forced to redeem all of the tickets on stuff we really didn't care for. It's nice to know that we can come back and use them to keep playing and earn more points. I can't recommend this Chuck E. Cheese enough. It truly remains an indoor play place Where A Kid Can Be A Kid® and an adult can be one too!

What can one say about Chuck E Cheese; it's a fun place. Always enjoy this place and it's fun for kids too lol. Service is nice and the environment is a fun friendly place.

Good Costumer service, great games, clean location & big open space with lots of natural light. This Chuckie Cheese will beat your previous experiences & expectations. This location does get busy at night, go early.

Over the past year, we have brought our kid here a handful of times with no issues. This review is for today in particular. I'd definitely wait a few more weeks before coming here. The good news is they got a bunch of new games! The bad news is almost half the games were unusable since they're moving stuff around and installing new games. Chuck came out to see the kids & the games that did work were fine. I'd just wait til everything is up and running, maybe call and ask. Also poor guys were understaffed so be patient w them. Good customer service despite how busy it was.

    More dirty tables.

Have been coming to this location since it opened. Today was not the best visit. First of all we along with several families waited for some one to let us enter. After 10 minutes an employee finally came to the desk. We ordered our pizza and purchased game cards. When trying to find a seat a good majority of the booths were empty but had food and trays that had not been cleared. I asked the manager where should we sit. She said find a clean booth. I insisted they clean the areas. Then they delivered our pizza and left off toppings we paid for. When a new pizza arrived there were no plates. The server said she would bring them. She never did and we had to find someone to give us plates. You can't blame these issues on Covid as they had no problem taking the 58.13 from us.

We booked a party for Sunday at 11am.and this was the best time we almost had the whole place to our self..the staff was great. The food was great

    The line

Rachet people who work here ignore you, machines had blood all over them told employees they did not card one bit. Worst location I've ever been too. Line around the door just to purchase anything. Waited so long at the ticket booth with employees walking past and ignoring you that we just left, never again will I come to this location. Owner needs to look into some better management over here and employees

    Great for kids!

I had made a list of things/activities for us to do while she was here and I put Xtreme Action Park on the list. Honestly, I did not think anyone would want to go. But, we woke up one day and decided to just hop over there because it wasn't far from our house. It was around noon on a Wednesday and we almost had the place all to ourselves! When we walked in, we were astonished at how huge this place was! It has indoor go kart racing and I'm not talking the slow, kiddie ones either! These go karts went very fast and it was a very large and curvy track. They also had a huge skating rink, an entire 18 hole, miniature golf room, a huge trampoline room, an obstacle course that hung from the ceiling, virtual reality games and experiences, a ton of standard arcade games as well as a restaurant and bar. (they had so much that I'm probably forgetting something important!) We had the time of our lives! We killed zombies and road motorcycles and battled pirates, laughing, screaming, and yelling the entire time like three little kids. We stopped for a while and went to the bar and ordered nachos and Mojitos. The nachos were delicious (they were actually the best nachos I ever had! ) and they made a special Mojito that was also very good. After we ate and had a couple of drinks, we went back to playing arcade games. Before we got a chance to even do anything else we realized we had been there for five hours! By the time we left, it was getting very busy and we were exhausted but on top of the world. We had so much fun running around that place, each of us addicted to a different arcade game. We left with credits still on our cards so I am going back soon. Regardless of how old you are, put this on your list of things you want to check out because I promise, you won't regret it.

Me and my friend did the VR and the mini golf! We also got lots of arcade credits to play the games. The VR was fun but I didn't like that they didn't clean the goggles (at least I didn't see) after someone playing. That is gross lol. I went and washed my face after. One of the VR rides was broken so I couldn't do it with my friend. The shooting one was a lot more fun than the SpongeBob. The mini golf was cute- it's mini golf lol! We got fries, Red Bull, and blue slush. The prices weren't bad! I was expecting more. Overall fun- kinda loud and busy. But I had a good time. Wish I took photos , next time ;)

Two of us ordered drinks right away and sat at the bar playing video games. The rest of our group was still deciding what they wanted, which we understood fell under the one drink minimum per person rule. One friend sat with us at the bar while we had our drinks and was told by the bartender that she couldn't sit there without purchasing a drink, so she moved. She then stood near our other friends, who were playing an arcade game, and they were told they could not play unless they each bought a drink. At this point, they stood behind us at the bar to look over the menu and decide what they wanted, but that didn't seem to matter. The bartender repeatedly returned and escalated the situation instead of allowing any reasonable time to order, stating they could get water if they wanted and that it did not have to be alcoholic. After only a couple of minutes, the same bartender came out from behind the bar again and said in a rude, condescending tone that they "don't understand... if they don't buy a drink, then they can't even be in the building." Our friends explained that we had already purchased drinks and were simply deciding what we wanted, but at that point, they were turned off by his behavior and no longer wanted anything--and frankly, neither did we. We cashed out our tab, finished our drinks, and left. We were already paying customers and would have ordered more drinks, but the handling of the situation made that impossible. Instead, the business lost not only our additional sales, but also several friends who were planning to join us and spend money. We are local to the area and not teenagers causing a disturbance, which is what the situation felt like when our friends were told to leave for no clear reason. I understand house rules like a one-drink minimum, but there is a professional way to enforce them. This wasn't it. Not everyone can or wants to order immediately--whether due to preferences, pacing, or dietary restrictions--and the lack of flexibility or basic courtesy was disappointing. Instead of encouraging guests to stay and order more, the approach did the opposite. Unfortunately, this experience completely changed my impression of the place, and I don't see myself returning. There are other spots in the area with a similar concept that offer a much more welcoming and customer-friendly experience, and I would recommend exploring those instead.

The place is dark with blacklights and cool murals of cartoon, anime and VG characters on the wall. There are specialty slushies you can get. There is alcohol. They have an old gamer staple: Bawls The cover charge is 15 dollars per hour which is awesome. You can definitely spend a whole day in there easily and not break the bank. I loved the variety of the cabinets. Theres traditional and modded cabinets with tons of oldschool games to play. Beat em ups, fighting, racing, hunting, DDR, rythm games, console games like gamecube in the front. They even have a sailormoon S beat em up. Im a hardcore sailor moon fan so it was appreciated. The bathrooms were clean. There is one big flaw with this place. Many of the games I played had buttons that would stick so I was unable to play them. Games in particular are the Spiderman beat-em-up in the second room, the DJ rythm game (not sure what its called. The one in japanese), the other rythm music game in the cornor of the second room, metal slug X, melty blood. The sailormoon game also. Oh and the L.A. shooting game with the guns doesnt have any rumble on them. The cabinets that have a ton of games in them are cool but the buttons arent mapped to each game. If you play a fighting game that has 6 buttons and theres a bunch of combination moves you can do with all those buttons but only 4 of those buttons are programmed to the game, you cant do the moves and theres no point in playing it. To get the full experience out of this arcade, I would suggest the owner go through each cabinet and set up every game to where the buttons can correctly do what they are supposed to do. There is no point having a million games if you cant play any of them because of broken buttons and mapping issues. It needs weekly maintenance. I understand that kids can be really rough with the buttons but if you dont fix the buttons then whats the point of having the games there if you cant play them? Its really easy to map the buttons. That would fix half of the problems. My fiancee said it best "its like playing cup and ball without the string. And you have to keep picking the ball up off of the ground. " Huge potential for this place. It could be 5 stars with maintennence. I see the vision.
