My husband and I wanted some good old fun. I remembered this place and decided to check it out. We went early in the day and had to wait for them to open so we grabbed lunch first in the plaza on a Saturday. We ended being the first people there. We were greeted immediately and given the lay of the land. We could pay for drinks and play so that's what we did. They offer an array of drinks but we had beer. I had a suggested beer and it was good. They have a lot of old and new arcade and game consoles but we chose to play pool. We played about 4 rounds before leaving. They have food as well, but we didn't have any this time. It was a nice chill spot and there was a family that came in as well as another couple while we were there. They stay open late too. I didn't come here for the games. But definitely to try out the food and drinks. I thought the tacos were decent but I felt like it was missing something. Probably some red onions. But I still enjoyed them. I wanted a bit of spice with a kick, but it came on later. The tots were amazing I felt like there was cinnamon added correct me if I'm wrong. But they were so delicious when I tried them. I also ordered the cotton candy drink which isn't pictured. I really liked and definitely enjoyed the drink. Food here is great! T'was a rainy night last night and couldn't think of where to go. There were a couple of boxing matches last night I could've watched but I wanted to go out instead. A friend of mine couldn't think of a place to go and then she mentioned a place where her and her boyfriend usually hang out at, Game Night. She tells me it opened approx 2017, I was already living in a different city at that time. This place in in Coral Springs. She didn't really tell me what it was about, all she told me is that it was a nice bar to go to and if I wanted to join. So I decided to make the drive from Boynton Beach to Coral Springs. So I'll just say this, it felt as if I time-traveled once I went inside. All these arcades inside!!! I felt my pockets for quarters but didn't need them, it's l free!!! Yes!!! It brought me back to the time where I used to change bills for quarters so I can wait in line and play against the Bully who would put all those finishing moves on the poors. When I saw the Mortal Kombat II Arcade I turned 15 again!! Ok anyway, this place is amazing! Excellent atmosphere. Definitely a place where you can relax and have a nice conversation while being in awe from all the different consoles, game posters, and collectible items on the walls. They also have a pretty nice selection of food. I ordered the 3 Tacos, how can you go wrong with that? They have a nice selection of beers, ciders, very creatively named cocktail drinks like the "Specto Patronum" yes it has Patrón Tequila. People were nice and friendly. The bar tenders were amazing. So all in all I highly recommend this place! This was my first time visiting Game Night and I really enjoyed the atmosphere! It was not super crowded so you were able to have private conversations without having to talk over one another. They have a variety of games such as consoles, arcade machines, and card games. I wish they had more arcade games and seating areas. Cool little spot tucked away in the Doris's plaza on university and royal Palm blvd in Coral Springs. They have all the retro video games you can think of from mortal combat to street fighter. When I was playing street fighter There was no volume so I was a bit disappointed by that but maybe it was a user error? Wow. What a great concept! I first learned about this place through a event posted on Facebook. They had their very first fighting games night. Featuring Mortal Kombat and Street Fighter for the NES. I was exited to see this place. I have not beingto an arcade (other than Dave and Busters) for a very long tine. Well, this is not your mom and pops early 90's arcade, that's for shizzle. This is an improved version of a man cave. There are plasma tv's all over, every few feet apart with a different game going. How cool is to sit at a bar, drinking a cold one and playing Tekken? It does have it disadvantages though. The place is super narrow. We were literally shoulder to shoulder. If you are claustrophobic, this isn't the place for you. Also, I ordered a drink from the menu and it was super watered down. I sent hubby to get me a shot to add to it, and one of the owners explained they purposely make them with less alcohol. I can see the logic, it should be stated in the menu though. You are better off having beer. I am not sure of they serve wine. The owner was super nice and just added more alcohol to my drink. Don't judge (lol) NOTE: Well I was schooled about the alcohol they serve. As per management note bellow. I had no idea there was such a process. Must have gotten lost in translation. Still, the drinks don't make this place, the games do. The fact they don't have a full liquor license wouldn't keep me away from this place. They also have board games. Walking into this bar brings a happy sense of nostalgia and millennial vibes. The music was phenomenal with a mix of indie, and 2000's and ofc some modern. The names and drinks on the menu had funny cute Pokémon or Marvel references. My boyfriend actually brought me here cause they usually throw some one day sales with retro antiques, however it was my first time. The food that would come out looked amazing. They also had a pool table that you have to request at the bar. I did very enjoy my time with my friends but the only thing that missed a star was how short staffed they were by the amount of volume of people that showed up but hey thats everywhere in America at the time. There was only one bartender. I felt like giving out a hand. Also my drink could have also been a little stronger. It was very watered down or juicy and made me disappointed that I paid for that.
