This legacy store is amazing in every single way! Every single employee I encountered and interacted with was wonderful and friendly! I was welcomed in and I spent most of my time admiring the CU-1 stage animatronics. The artwork is beautiful and the ambiance is both welcoming and exciting! I don't typically leave reviews but I felt I needed to on my experience last night. We went to the Chuckie Cheese in Springfield Illinois around 6pm. I pay for the monthly subscription ($30 a piece) for 2 kids where you get the 250 game play etc each day. I go in and we swipe our cards and get the play points added for both and then I order food. By this time it's between 6 and 6:30pm. The manager Lashae comes out from the kitchen and tells the girl at the counter to only take my order, the lady behind me's order and a couple behind her. We go and sit down and kids start playing. I noticed food coming up to the counter and then noticed the 3rd order from the couple walks up and their beeper is going off. The lady who ordered after me was saying I believe that is a mistake I ordered before her and they ordered after her. But it wasn't a mistake the manager Lashae actually cooked theirs first. Then a little bit later the 2nd lady's order became ready. Again I ordered first. When I asked about it I was told because their order was smaller and I had more items. To me it should go in order as you receive it. When I noticed my stuff not in the oven yet or wings being cooked I asked to cancel and for a refund. A gentleman relayed the message because she refused to come talk to me. When he told her she quickly started adding food to the oven. I then was told because it's already cooking I can't have a refund. At this point it was 7:45pm and they close at 8pm. I continued to tell them I don't want it I want s refund. Then 8pm hits and the announcement over the speaker says we are closed and please find the exit. I still don't have our food. When she finally finishes it is close to 8:30pm. She then throws the food in to go containers up on the counter and disappears. I end up finding her down by the stage and when I confronted her she wanted to get loud with me and tell me I am not getting a refund because she already cooked the food. I again told her it wasn't even started when I first asked for the refund. She was very disrespectful and I don't feel she handled it like an adult. Instead of apologizing she continued to talk to me inappropriately. I then grabbed my stuff and kids and left and figured I would handle it in the morning. I called corporate and filed a complaint and was refunded my money. I wouldn't recommend ordering food if the manager Lashae is the one cooking. You will more than likely not get your order for 2 hours and be prepared for her to pick the order she wants to cook them in also. read more

I would never bring my children back here ever again. Service was absolutely abysmal. My family and I waited as one of the employees stood next to a manger who was actually working. I guess she thought if she just stood there she didn't have to work. After almost 10 minutes she slowley started helping customers. Just when we thought her performance couldn't get worse, she turned out to be a jerk to my children. Why are you working with children if you can't stand them? I never pay any money on the food because it's always overpriced for the quality. So, I can't comment on any of the food. Side note: I spent the majority of a summer working at Chuck E Cheese. It could be stressful, I can relate. But I never let it show. I had great coworkers and always got perks from the families that liked my service. I went to Chuck E. Cheese's this Friday with my friend Dan to determine if the pizza was recycled or not. We both ordered 30 minutes of playtime and decided not to purchase a pizza (because it cost way too much) however, after looking at other people's pizza I can safely say that their pizza did not look recycled. The games were pretty fun but I could tell that they hadn't been washed in a very long time. The aroma of marijuana flooded my nostrils during the 30 minutes of playtime. The staff seemed bored and were not very energetic or friendly, but I don't think I would be either if I worked at Chuck E. Cheese's. read more

Just had my sons 7th birthday party had a great time food was good and the service from our party hostess was great we didn't have to worry about anything. She did everything from cutting our cake and serving it to serving pizza, she always had gloves on when handling our food. Games were great kids and adults alike where playing and having fun. For the most part very disappointing. I hope they had separate restrooms for the employees, no soap in the men's room. The pizza was some of if not the worst I have ever had. The small but adequate salad bar was out of a lot for very long periods. The games were fun. Sadly enough several were out of tickets and never in the hour and a half we played never got filled. One camera ride machine was out so we payed to ride and get a pic but no pic. We might go back but would definitely look for something else before going back there. read more

I drive for a delivery company and was supposed to pick up a large pepperoni pizza at this location at 3:56 they said they accidentally gave it to someone else after I waited 15 extra minutes then I had to wait another 20 minutes to get the pizza so I asked for a discount for my customer who was not happy and a worker said she would get the manager so he came out shoved the pizza box into my chest and walked away so I made 6.25 for an hour of work minus fuel and the manager of chuck e cheese was extremely rude to me so I will never take a delivery for this place again unless the manager is terminated I wanted to say something to him about his rudeness but there were small children all around so I decided not to but this manager should be delt with immediately before he does it again and things get ugly read more

This place was great. I came here for my daughter's 6th birthday. The restaurant was clean and well managed. While it was relatively busy the staff checked in on us often and assured us everything was running smoothly. We will be returning for my son's 4th birthday in the fall!! read more

Chuck E Cheese is someplace that your parents understand if they are in their 30's because that is when Chuck E Cheese was founded, when the parents were little and your parents probably went as kids in the eighties. I am in luck because I also like it better than Kicks because it is not as crowded. Here are the things that I like: fun games, the pictures, and Chuck E. Warning though: Chuck is scary to kids under 5. A 7 year old girl says that the best game is the one that you push and pull and it goes around and around and then it stops at one. A 9 year old girl likes the car racing game the best. I am going to take in my report card in June and try to get free tokens for good grades. I will let you know if it works. read more

Clean place, nice staff, my kids always have a blast. we went tonight and had a great time. The pizza was pretty good. Been going to this Chuck E since the early 90's and never had any problems. It's a keeper :) Chucky came out twice and hugged my 4 yr old and threw tickets at the kids. read more
