I loved this place! The theme was awesome and was well placed all around. The food/drink names were cute and the decor was fun. They have a great selection of salads, appetizers, burgers, pizzas, sandwiches, and entrees. They also have an option of gluten free bread for the burgers/sandwiches and a gluten free crust for the pizza. My gluten free "Saved by the Beef" was awesome. It was basically a Reuben and I loved it. It could have used more sauce, but the meat made up for the flavor. The gluten free bun was decent. It did crumble under pressure, and became pretty soggy. But they did butter and toast it. So the flavor was great. Honestly I'm just happy they had the option The table loved the onion ring tower. The green goddess dipping sauce was well loved. The cocktails were pretty decent and the theme was fun. They also have a good selection of beers. The service was super nice but a little chaotic. We were in town as a day trip to see the President Lincoln attractions. If you are in the area definitely worth a stop, if pressed for time, I would suggest the museum over the home. We had looked up a few places and this had decent reviews and a parking lot (something I care about as a terrible parallel parking guy). My wife and I are in our 60's so the 90's theme worked for us, looking around at the various decorations was a nice nostalgia trip. They really captured the color palette and the font styles from the era. Our server Trever was very good, great personality, accurate and attentive just enough. The food came out correctly and in a decent amount of time. They were a little busy when we first came in on the table end of lunch rush. We both got the single smash burger. They were well executed and a two patty would have been a bit too much I think. With the fries and couple of her onion rings on board that last bite of the burger was a commitment to not being a quitter. They have a three patty and that has to be for those you tube pro eaters or the big hearty mid-western kids who will toss hay later in the afternoon. The bathroom was clean and everything worked, the overall place seems well maintained. There is good spacing between the tables and chairs. The pricing is in line with a mid size town, and our current economic environment. We spent a little north of $60, two meals, iced teas, and a decent tip. If we were in the area again, would likely come back and try some other dishes. I think if you are local and haven't been to many places it shines a bit brighter. read more

First things first, the fact that we now have themed restaurants for my childhood felt like a personal attack. The 90s was only 10 years ago, right?... RIGHT????? The ambiance was immaculate. The decor, the 90s music, the TVs playing my childhood shows... how do you get home when home no longer exists?? Maybe it's rose colored glasses but man, it hit me in the chest like a ton of bricks just how simple life felt then. I was also a child so my responsibilities were few. Either way, the time we spent there was a great escape from today's worries and a pleasant trip back to when life felt like an adventure instead of a struggle. And the service was absolutely wonderful!! There weren't many people there since it was so late, so I felt comfortable enough to bug our server (Arianna you were amazing!) about all the little things on the menu. She had no problem answering all of my silly questions and gave us some recommendations, even listing every flavor of ice cream they had when I asked (which is way more than just chocolate, strawberry, and vanilla!). They only serve the pizzas after 10PM so keep that in mind, but who cares because the buffalo chicken pizza was INCREDIBLE! I'm not a huge thin crust fan, but wow this one was fabulous!! I'm also a cornfed Midwest kid so of course I'm picky on my ranch but for me, the ranch was perfect. A not too thick, not too runny consistency and the perfect amount of dill. Of course us midwesterners all have varying degrees of preference so my opinion is not gospel, but I loved it. The Buffalo wasn't burning-my-mouth-spicy which I appreciated, not that it would've mattered as I drowned the dang thing in ranch after eating a few slices normally to make sure I could taste it the way it was supposed to be. I got the Millions of Peaches mule & bubblegum bubblegum shooter, too. The mule was okay, but to be honest it's a little hard to remember over how incredible the shooter was. Every 90s kid knows you can't swallow bubblegum because of course it'll live in your body forever, but this shooter scratches that itch perfectly. I didn't even think to ask what alcohol was in the drinks, sorry about that. All I can remember is wanting another 12 shooters. I got the Mall Madness shake which was like drinking Reese's in milkshake form and I couldn't have been happier for that. The only thing I can think that might've elevated it is chocolate covered pretzels on top to get that complete Mallrats feel (iykyk). My brother had the Goosebumps shake and it was perfectly minty. I'd order either of those again in a heartbeat. We will absolutely be coming back with everyone in my life who can stand to listen to me obsessing over The Spot. read more

Checked this place out for lunch with my work bestie. It instantly had my whole 90's heart with the vibe and the music. The food was amazing, the staff were great. It was a little expensive for lunch so we probably won't do lunch there again but it would be a great hang for a friends dinner or night out. I had meatloaf and an ice tea and with tip was a little over $30. Plenty of delicious food so it's not that it wasn't worth it but just more than I want to spend for lunch during the weekdays. Definitely worth a visit, just be prepared for a bigger bill. read more

STOP! Collaborate and listen... We found a restaurant that's da bomb! Walking in felt like stepping into the best parts of the 90s. The Trash Can Nachos were all that--loaded with toppings and gone faster than rewinding a VHS tape. Then came the Baby Got Back Brisket Sandwich, and just like Sir Mix-a-Lot said... I like big brisket and I cannot lie! Smoky, juicy, and totally worth the hype. Now let's talk about our server, Julz. She understood the assignment before there even was an assignment. Friendly, funny, attentive, and always one step ahead. If this were a 90s TV lineup, she'd be the perfect mix of Kelly Kapowski's charm, Will Smith's personality, and Monica Geller's attention to detail. She kept everything running smoother than a Blockbuster movie on a Friday night. The whole experience was the bomb dot com. We'd hit rewind and do it all over again. In their advertisements, the Spot says that you get a free appetizer with each two entrees. After doing that, and they bring the appetiizer, I was told that you need a coupon, that is, a copy of the ad. Nowhere on the ad does it mention the ad is a coupon. I definitely feel cheated.out of $13. The meat loaf was dry and the barbecue sauce was on the fires and very little on the meat loaf. It was a generous portion of meat loaf. Many restaurants are now doing this, but there is a 3% charge for use of a card. It is automatically on the bill, so if you pay cash, be sure to deduct that charge. Most restaurants will list a cash charge and a charge using a credit card. Overall disappointed and will not go back. read more

This was my second and last time here. While the theme and nostalgia/decorations were fun, the prices and food aren't worth it to me. I hated how the waitress used "we" and "us" when asking questions ("How are we today?" "Are we ready to order?" "Is everything great for us?"). As for food, I don't enjoy sweet pickles or sweet sauces on a burger and it unexpectedly had both. Live and learn. Their root beer is bizarrely on tap so they don't offer free refills on that. The cheese curds appetizer were unusually crunchy and cost $16 but were admittedly pretty good. I didn't appreciate the automatic additional "technology" charge being added to the check and having to ask to have it removed when paying with cash or debit. Seems they pocket that fee regardless of how you pay unless you specifically ask to remove it. I was just disappointed overall and while I loved the decor, I can't see them staying open long term once the newness wears off. read more

This place has the coolest vibe. Being a 90s kid I couldn't love it anymore. From the 90s TV show pictures, the CDs spread across the walls, the wait staff with "flair" on their suspenders and butterfly clips in their hair, the creative and spot on menu item names, to the best music of the 90s on the radio, they nailed it. They have super fun drink options-dirty sodas, over the top milkshakes (even a pickle flavored one!), and 90s themed adult beverages. The food options were great and everyone loved their food. The crispy corn bread croutons on my salad were super unique and delicious. I'm sure I could crush the bagel bite challenge, but I refrained. Definitely will be going back. read more

The atmosphere is great, and our waitress amazing. My wife is super picky, and the waitress made sure that if the meal she ordered wasn't what she liked, she would get her something else that she would. Being that they just opened, you can tell they are still working on things. Cheese sauce for their horseshoes has a very good taste, but was slightly runny which is to be expected while still training. Let them know that the portion was huge, and that they should offer a ponyshoe size which she stated was in the works. Our dessert was so delicious. We got the Oreo Speedwagon, highly recommend it. Overall our first visit between the wife and I we ranked it between a 7-7.5 out of 10, with our waitress definitely getting a 9 out of 10.
