I bought a 2012 Honda Civic on June 3, 2012. (1). First thing that happened: on dashboard light was flashing about a tire sensor. They did send the car to Goodyear and they fixed the issue. (2)second time I carried it back and told the office that it was dying on me when I would turn a corner. The mechanic said there was no problem because I just didn't hsve the key inserted properly. (3) third time I carried it back I told them that when I like stopped at a stop sign then start to go forward, it would hesitate then this BIG SURGE forward would happen. It would scare me. The mechanic said "well, the engine light does not come on so maybe you need to use a higher grade of gasoline." So, I go to Polk's and fill up on their most expensive grade the had and spent close to $50 filling up because I was going to Mobile to my sons for the 4th of July. (4th issue) When I got to Mobile, and got out of the car, my grandson was at the door to greet me and he said "NANNY, there 's smoke billowing out from under the hood of your car." It scared the heck out of us both and when I let it cool off, it would not crank. My grandson had to bring me back to Long Beach because I had appointments the next day. Because the car wouldn't start, Chuck Ryan had to go get the car in Mobile and bring it back to Long Beach. I didn't hear from them yesterday after they got the car and so far today (June 7th) I haven't heard from them as to what they are going to do about the car By the way, I told them I didn't want the car and could I have a refund. I paid $2000 down and made one $450 payment. One of the managers named Kelly said they didn't give refunds, but they own the company, so I would think they could if they wanted to. Im actually sad to leave this review, but I think the family owned genuine fake persona from Kelle, was to act as if you're a long time running caring dealership was all a show to make a sale. When purchasing this vehicle the car fax information posted by Chuck Ryan, Chuck Ryan dealership page and the employee did not state there were any issues. I had asked to see video and more pictures, but was told by an employee Ali, she couldn't drive a stick so she couldn't take more pictures. I then again asked if there were any issues with the truck, I was told none at all, and by the way they were talking and how many years they have been in business I trusted her word when she said no issues at all. When we received the truck the transport driver stated the battery was dead, the tires were all flat and the emergency brake didn't work(it's manual). We had to jump the battery to start it and that is when we found that the engine light was on. Kelle from Chuck Ryan did not disclose that to us. Several hundreds of dollars later(not even done) trying to get the engine light corrected, we had to replace several sensors, a control unit, battery, battery cables, bushing to the gear shifter, engine clip, and several clips because the front end was not even clipped on. Today we were taking the truck to get smogged and never made it. The rear left tire had three lug studs and was sold that way by Chuck Ryan Dealership. The three lug studs were rusted and could not support the truck weight while driving the lug studs snapped off and the truck dropped down to the ground in the middle of a busy intersection putting my family's safety and people around us at risk of injury. The vehicle does not even have the proper lug nuts. When I told Kelle that there were issues that should have been listed and disclosed or else we would have not purchased it, she asked me to send her pictures and list the issues and also stated the truck was 19 years old. She has not responded to me at all. 19 years old is no excuse to sell a truck in that condition, with safety issues. She has not taken any responsibility for her actions. They lied when selling this car, they withheld and did not disclose info to trick us into buying a vehicle with major issues. read more

Went to look at a truck on the lot,,, truck would not start as the battery was dead, they put a battery in it and got it started... truck ran rough and the AC didn't work as the salesman said it did... I said if ya`ll can get the truck to run on all cylinders and get the AC working, I`m very interested. The salesman called me the next day and said it`s ready, come take a look... I went down there with money in hand, drove the truck, liked what they did, even overlooked the slight smoke coming out of tailpipe... Figured the truck needed to be driven and maybe a tune-up... No big deal nor a dealbreaker. What was a dealbreaker is the fact that while I was in the office waiting to buy the truck, several people came in and the staff completely ignored me and talked to these people who were just asking questions and likely not going to buy anything... Left kind of irritated and got almost home to Gulfport and then salesman called me wanting to know if I was going to buy the truck... I told him I was ready to buy while I was there but no one seemed to want to sell it to me, He informed me that they were very busy and that I didn`t say I wanted to buy... april 12th i purchased a car, on may 6th it broke i texted kelley letting her know what service lights flashed before my truck shut off. may 7th kelley said she'll tow it in my truck was on highway 90 for 4 entire day's because she forgot to get it towed. i understood didn't complain. fast foward 2 weeks later i called kelley asked her was the truck fixed she explained no they couldn't find a problem but was going put it on a machine. ok cool again no complaintts from me. 3 weeks later i texted kelley explained to her if the mechanic couldn't fix the issue i'll myself take the car to the dealership for a service appointment, kelley responded it was ready for pickup. fast foward to today 7-5-18 i go to get the vehicle i headed straight to ask the mechanic what work was completed he said none- nothing- zilch- zero. it had sat while i still paid my notes as they were due. yet i also rented a car out of pocket for these weeks not through insurance paid out of pocket at my expense. after becoming upset due to these circumstances kelley became irate as if she has paid me over 8,000 with an additional balance. she than threatens to call the cops, have me removed and attempted to keep my vehicle. i have scheduled my own service appointment with certified mechanics for this saturday chuck ryans mechanics can't fix a power wheel. i'm not sure how to post all photos including text messaging but i'm willing and able to show proof or you can visit chuck ryans facebook page i have it posted there underneath my review. she did repair an unbroken door handle and not the driver side view mirror that's facing the ground making it dangerously to merge left. great job chuck ryan you guy's are a nightmare. read more
