Beto quoted me at $50 to come out and assess the problem, which would go towards the repair costs. After initial assessment, he determined the problem may be the lid latch, so he ordered the piece. A few days later, it came in and he returned to find out if that was the problem. It came out to be that it wasn't the lid latch, but rather the motherboard, which is not fixable. We were better off getting a new machine since ours is almost 10 years old. He ended up not charging us for his time, even though my husband offered. My reason for the high rating is that he was very responsive and did not appear to just be in the business for the money. He did not even charge us for the part that was ordered.
