I was contacted by this company as soon as I placed a late afternoon inquiry for appliance repair on Yelp. They were the first ones, and they were able to come the next morning. Their communication was outstanding, and they let me know everything I needed to feel comfortable about choosing them for our washing machine repair. David on the phone, and then the technician Brian, were both kind and courteous and knowledgable. It was Friday of a holiday weekend, and a part needed to be ordered so we did not get the problem fixed until Tuesday, but we understood. Technician assessed and found a part that had shorted out, ordered new one but it still didn't work. Rather than trying another one we opted to return the new part for refund. Delightful surprise! Very competent and knowledgeable. I had a problem with my ice maker and then developed a leak from the refrigerator unit itself. I had previously had this problem repaired and was told that my particular ice maker was no longer made and that there was no replacement. I had been using a portable ice maker and some trays. Troublesome. These guys came in and immediately located a broken water valve and explained that the leak and the failure in the ice maker were caused by that failure. Unfortunately, the ice maker wasn't repairable. But they were able to find a replacement! After ordering the parts, they repaired the leak and installed the replacement just as they promised and on the schedule that they had quoted. My dishwasher quit working so I requested service through Yelp. Brian, the technician was prompt and diagnosed the problem and returned with the part the next day to complete the repair. The cost to replace the circulating pump was$275 plus tax. This seems reasonable for a factory part since the comparable unit would cost $700 to $900 including delivery, haul away, tax, etc. new. Paid $65 for a diagnostic fee and still left with a non-working dryer. Guy showed up in a mini van and wore his shoes through my house. Uninstalled the vent from the dryer and says it works when not connected. Left it not connected so I could use it. Apparently can't check to see if the vent is stuck closed or anything so I have to call someone else to come out instead. read more

WARNING - Please read this before calling this company. I called this company because my refrigerator stopped working and they had good reviews on Google. A technician came to my house and quickly told me the problem was the refrigerator's control board (motherboard). Then he gave me a repair quote of $1300. Yes, $1300. The price sounded ridiculous to me, so I refused the repair and told him I would rather buy a new refrigerator. I still paid the service fee and he left. They did not provide any written report or documentation about the problem. After he left, I did some research online. I found the exact same control board on eBay for $78. I ordered it, installed it myself in a few minutes, and guess what? My refrigerator started working perfectly. So let me repeat this again: $78 part they wanted $1300. This is not a "service price." This is taking advantage of customers who trust professionals and don't know the technical details. Of course companies should charge for their labor and service, but there is a huge difference between a fair price and something that feels completely dishonest. Please be careful and always get a second opinion before agreeing to expensive repairs. I am sharing this experience so other people don't end up paying hundreds or thousands of dollars unnecessarily. read more

If you're debating with yourself around hiring this company or another, go with the other one. I hired Mega to fix my wine refrigerator, which they did a nice job repairing. That isn't the issue. There were two other issues: First, the cooling fan was broken, and Mega offered to order the part, which I agreed on and told me it would be $200+ installed. After thinking about it later that day, I chose to lookup the part myself and noted the prices ranged from $25-75. I called Mega and they told me they would give me a "discount", but only after they checked with their manager. Second, when the technician arrived for the initial appointment, he pulled out the refrigerator without much care, dragging the machine across the floor, scratching and leaving a permanent indentation on the path the machine traveled. Later, I asked Mega if there was something they could do (insurance, repair, etc.) to fix the damage they left, and they never responded. TL/DR: Yes, they can do the work. I don't know how this company only has 4 out of 5 stars. I wish I had more hands so I could give them 10 thumbs up. The 5 Ps satisfied!!! Professional, Prompt, Profecient, Price right and payment. Johnny showed up very respectful to me and property. I had a 10-12 appointment received a text 45 minutes prior telling me he was on his way(without my having to request the call ahead they just did the right thing). I had already knew what the problem was graduating from YouTube university lol problem was at 6'3 280lbs my hands couldn't fit where they needed to be. My issues was a clogged ptrap on the fridge. The water kept freezing inside freeze because the pipe was clogged. When I tried fixing myself I could see the black gunk thru the pipe. But the problem was even if I got the pipe out it would be even harder to get it back in. So in comes johnny from mega. I told him the issue and I already has the fridge defrosted from night b4 and pulled out. He was appreciate of my efforts. He got his light and had the pipe pulled out in literally 3 minutes. He showed me the black gunk (not sure how that even got in there) used a wire brush to clean pipe thoroughly and reinstalled the pipe. He was in and out within 30 minutes. Surprisingly I had the option to pay with credit card but I opted for zelle as I know they charge them a fee for credit card payments and I didn't want them to pay a fee due to the fact I was only charged the service fee of $75 as promised I may add. Had they needed to dismantle the insides and clean out it was still reasonably priced at $170 but I made it as quick as possible for them to get it done in about 25-30 minutes. I'm most definitely adding them to my contacts as my new contact for all my appliances needs as they check off my 5 Ps to service. I was told a $85 dollar service call is charged but is waived if a repair is done. That is a lie. The technician quotes me $229, stated it included service charge, after I told him I was told the service charge would be waived he called the office, Person stated the service charge was waived, had they charged me service charge the cost would be $314.
