What a FUN place!!!! I could easily spend a whole day here! Biggest and most expansive beer selection I've seen in awhile! As well as ciders, wines, and non-alcoholic beverages. And not to mention all the food and snacks that are available to purchase. They also have ice cream and pastries...they seriously have it all!!! Plenty of seating, both kid and pet friendly! They have games and pinball machines in the back. It's right next to Third place books. Just overall very chill and fun vibes. What more can you ask for!

Tots - Good, but what you think.

TLDR: If you like that REI brewery kid friendly vibe, this place is for you. If that sounds not like your cup of tea - you can skip this place. Food: Burger: Went here craving one, and left craving one. Its incredibly standard and more than likely just ment to keep you drinking - C+ Tots: Again, incredibly standard C+ Drinks: As a person who isnt into beer, there were a good amount of wine and cider options. (I know, I know... look, I wanted to see if this place had a good burger.) Vibe: If you've ever been to Bend Oregon this place feels like every brewery there. Lots of families, the elderly reading books, people planning their next hike, kids running around unattended (randomly screaming). Also drag playing on the television (super random). What can be better: Outside of the beer selections, this place is fairly pedestrian, but I feel thats what there going for here.

Order area and my random order for today: oatmeal latte, chocolate croissant and tomato soup!

Traveled to Seattle. Ugh! I just love this place - I wish I could move into this neighborhood. They have three different locations, and this one even has a bookstore attached. Books, coffee, food, beer, good vibes, and good people = my happy place! Everyone talks about their beer selection, so I'm going to rave about their café drinks and breakfast items instead. They use freshly roasted Broadcast coffee beans delivered right to the café. And their scratch-made tomato soup hit the spot on this gray Seattle day! All-day house made breakfast sandwiches: have not tried these but they sound so good with great price!

Great spot! Lots of local drafts. Friendly beertenders. Attached bookstore. Hang out spots downstairs. Lots of canned pints downstairs too. They hosted a trivia while we were there which was fun. Parking limited but seems to be plenty of street parking if you don't mind getting some steps in. Food was fantastic as well which complimented the beer. Korean Spicy Wings (5): Legit korean fried chicken flavors! I would've liked it a little spicier but they were still good. Crispy. Good Flavor. Moist wings. Decent size. Double Bacon Smashburger (5): The smashburgers here are legit! They really smash the patties which crisp up the edges nicely. Because its a legit smash, you gotta get a double. You can add a patty to any burger. You can even get an impossible patty as well! The bacon on this thing was thick cut and crispy. Everything was great. Overall great spot to hang out, grab a beer, decent grub. we'll be back!

I have been here many many years ago and boy, this place became something else since! My buddy and I came here to try the Veil, Other Half, and Monkish Collab beer (which was amazing - the name of the beer was Hey Hey Echo Echo) and we really enjoyed the outdoor seating and the atmosphere. Service is great here. They got like 50+ taps and probably over 1000 beer bottles to go. Dog friendly. They always have a food truck if you get hungry. Highly recommended for all craft beer lovers.

Cute taster ;)

In the secluded Seward Park, this CHS location is most unique on its own ~ BEER & BOOKS! Shared building space with Third Place Books, it is a destination for beer or book geeks. 50 taps, rotating food trucks everyday, ginormous selection of wine & beer, pup & family friendly. The intention is to come here to sip and read; end up playing too much pinball lol. A must stop after hiking around Seward.

A bookstore-brewery combo which I absolutely loved -- I stopped in to browse at Third Place Books and ended up spending the evening at the brewery. I've been to a Chuck's before but LOVED this location! They have such a great variety to browse and choose from and the bartenders are very sweet and helpful. I'm appreciative of their color-coded list, which helped me find some ciders and IPAs that I really loved. They have tons of seating upstairs and downstairs and their beer shop (apart from being so much fun to look at) had tons of fun picks -- a personal favorite is the Old Man Yelling IPA from Cloudburst brewing! I hope to be back to the Seward Park location soon!

$10 frozen burrito... I'm upset.

The service is amazing, it's great to have beer, coffee, ice cream, and a bookstore all in one and the selection of fears unbeatable . terrible food. Great selection of beer. the food can be horrendous. I been coming here for a while and thought I was savvy when is comes to what to order and still I get hit with a curve ball now n again. The $10 breakfast burrito is terrible, it's like one of those frozen burritos. The wings are good and the monster fries are mid but give you the most bang for your buck. the burger is Dick's size but not Dick's price.

Great beer and great service! The outdoor patio is dog friendly and a nice place to enjoy your drink. I definitely recommend trying the smash burgers!

Food came out fast but burgers and tots were both cold and dried out like they'd been precooked a while ago.

Went to Growlerz for the first time tonight and my 2 year old lil Boston Terrier had the time of…read morehis life! Was playing and having a blast the whole time. Folks there were super communicative and helpful in getting a lay of the land. The dogs were very friendly and the people were welcoming and had only glowing things to say about the space. Drinks were reasonably priced, and the cover to get in for my pup was very affordable. Already wish there were more places like this, but I'm glad to have found such a spot! Excited to go back soon :)

I recently brought my Havanese, Kainalu, to Growlerz Seattle for a grooming appointment with…read moreNicole, and I want to start by saying the actual grooming service itself was great. Nicole is an amazing groomer--she did an excellent job, and Kainalu came back clean, well-trimmed, and clearly cared for. I want to be very clear that I have absolutely nothing negative to say about her work, and this review is not a reflection of her at all. The experience during that initial visit felt professional and smooth, which is exactly why I intended to return and continue using their services regularly. However, the issue started when I attempted to book a follow-up appointment a few weeks later. When trying to schedule online, I was suddenly blocked by a requirement stating that my dog must be neutered in order to book. This caught me off guard because Kainalu was not neutered at the time of his first appointment, yet there were no issues or restrictions then. Since that visit, Kainalu has now been neutered, so I went ahead and uploaded the proper documentation through their system to meet the requirement. Despite doing everything asked on my end, the system still would not allow me to book another appointment. I then followed up by emailing them directly, expecting at least some kind of response or acknowledgment that my documents were received and being reviewed. Unfortunately, I never received a response. No confirmation, no clarification, and no assistance in resolving the issue. I gave it some time, assuming there might be a delay, but the lack of communication has continued, which has been frustrating. At this point, it feels like I've done everything required on my end and still have no way to move forward. What makes this more disappointing is that I genuinely want to continue bringing Kainalu here because of the positive experience we had with Nicole. Again, she is an amazing groomer, and this situation has nothing to do with her quality of work. The issue is entirely with the booking system and the lack of customer support or follow-up. A requirement like neutering is completely understandable, but the inconsistency between allowing the first appointment and then blocking future bookings--despite meeting the requirement--doesn't make sense. Overall, while the grooming itself deserves recognition, the backend experience has made things unnecessarily difficult. A simple response or manual update to my account after submitting documentation would have resolved this quickly. Instead, I'm left unable to rebook and unsure of how to proceed, which takes away from what was otherwise a really strong first impression.

DOGS AND HUMANS WELCOME at this female owned and LGBTQ friendly establishment. It looks like a…read moreregular human bar lounge except there are dogs running around off leash everywhere! Owners and people who enjoy dogs, lounge on plush couches sipping libations or playing one of the many board games provided for free. There is even a pool table! The staff are friendly and the bar also has draft beer as well as all manner of mixed drinks. My wife and I and Bomer, (our King Charles Cavalier) came to check this place out. We had thought there would be food, but apparently the health department will not allow it. We were told that we could bring our own food, and there are plenty of places in the neighborhood to get some including a wonderful BBQ place 2 blocks away. Besides the bar area, there are some indoor and outdoor play areas for the doggies. It was raining that day but I did have a look. The outdoor area is quite small compared to some other dog/people bars I've seen There are also a couple of indoor play areas. One is exclusively for boarding doggies, which, I did go to check out and was immediately mobbed by both large and small dogs. They were friendly but, I was quite overwhelmed and the staff helped me exit. Now I was told there was yet another indoor play area for visitors, but it was "not open". The owner lady did tell me she would open it for us, but never followed up and I thought her messaging about it was a little confusing. Other than that the basic bat area seemed nice, and we could see there were quite a few regulars there who knew each other as well as the dogs seemed to. Our little Boomer tried to make friends and was able to run around and play with some of the other dogs We did order some drinks, I enjoyed my draft beer but my wife did not like the one red wine they had which tasted a like a port that had been mixed with a red blend. Blech! So, now for the stars. As my Yelp friends know, I ALWAYS start with five and deduct from there. I will have to deduct a half star for the terrible red wine with no alternatives. If you're going to be "a bar" you need good wine and more than one option. Then a half star for the mixed messaging I encountered over the "public indoor play space. So four stars! If you read this far, you most likely enjoyed my review or at least found it useful. Please show your love by clicking one of the little buttons below. Cheers!

The building looked open and inviting, especially the back patio surrounded by flower bushes, so we stopped here for a beer. The space is so pleasant, both inside and out. Big windows, high ceiling, and then outside were tables with little fire pits- we sat at one of those but didn't need the fire since it was daytime and quite warm out! The beer menu has some unique choices, two of which we picked. My husband asked if the roasted pepper IPA was more like a roasted bell pepper or hot pepper, and the server said she felt it was more of a spicy pepper. She said she could offer him a taste to try it first, but my husband basically said, "Nah, I'll just go all in!" ... no regrets- he really enjoyed it! I was intrigued by the orange blossom honey braggot... I had no idea what braggot was. The server said it was something like a cross between a beer and mead. SOLD! Immediately ordered that thang. Ohhh it was delicious!! We simply stopped for one beer each and it was a shorter visit, but we really enjoyed our time. My only complaints are that the beer is on the pricier side, and there was something like a 20% automatic service charge (it was stated on a sign at the table so it wasn't a surprise). Although, I've been seeing that the owner from Perihelion has been responding to reviews here stating that due to complaints about this charge, they have gone back to normal tipping. If so, I think it's great that they listened to their customers. They may want to update their website to communicate that same message as well. I don't come to Beacon Hill often, but if I'm ever in the area, I will definitely return to Perihelion and maybe even try some of their food!
