Came here for happy hour with some colleagues. The ambiance was nice and the patio was so nice with fire pits. I ordered the rosemary popcorn, fried green beans, and cheese curds. These are the best cheese curds ever bc the batter isn't heavy like other cheese curds I've had. It's tempura battered so it's light and you can taste the cheese more. The jalapeño strawberry dip and ranch are good dips, but try them together and it will blow your mind. The fried green beans were okay. They did have a heavier batter on them and I wish they had the same batter the cheese curds had. The spicy dip was good! The rosemary popcorn was delicious! It had just enough butter and the perfect amount of rosemary where it's not overpowering. Once you get to the bottom, there's tons of butter and you just dip and soak it up with the popcorn. If you think all you can get here is bar food, you'd be wrong. There are some amazing proper meals on the menu that will surprise and delight. Solid beer selection with rotating drafts, and if you're a soda guy, they use all Seattle Soda Company flavors (supporting local business). Had the brisket dinner tonight and that was a very pleasant surprise. Fall apart tender, amazing rich flavor, decadent sauce, with creamy mash. The seasonal veg was brussells sprouts which could have been roasted a bit more to crispy for me but that's a personal preference. This is way more satisfying than the food you'd get at your typical local bar. I've been to The Bridge a half dozen times and every time has delivered. Solid food. Good service. Great outdoor patio. Neighborhood vibes - the type of place where the bartenders know and recognize the locals, and the locals are regulars. I like that. It's a welcoming place, casual, laid back, and though I haven't been there during too many sports games, even when it's on, it doesn't seem to get too rowdy. Brunch is a must do, with options like the Benny flight. Definitely one of the less known brunch spots in my opinion, but even so, can still get busy so go early. This local bar serves some pretty solid burgers, it will leave the tastebuds taken care of. The Bridge Sauce reminds me of the Red Mill burgers sauce, in that it's tasty and memorable. There are some inventive menu items, but I just like that they nail the basic Americana well. The staff are friendly, and it's the kind of place where you can get your coffee refilled at least once. Seating is plentiful, and there is a really nice back patio. Especially if you bring your pets out with you to dine. Sports fans will find lots of sports all around. There are likely more TV's than employees on the clock, but I've never counted. The only sport we Goblins play is pillaging, so I can't comment on the quality of the setup. We stopped in for dinner before a concert at Kenyon Hall, and from the moment we walked in, we were greeted and seated promptly. Our server was attentive, knowledgeable, and happily answered all of our questions. The only thing they didn't have was an espresso martini. No big deal! Honestly, one of my favorite parts of dining out is listening to my wife explain how to make one while watching the puzzled expressions on the waitstaff or bartender's faces. It was good and flavorful, though not quite in the same league as a Five Guys' version, which is easier to hold in your hand, the only reason for a 4 instead of 5-star review. The burger featured a nicely toasted bun with a buttery, crispy crunch, and the toppings were perfectly balanced for my taste. The real star of the meal, however, was the fries. They were fantastic--crispy, hot, and absolutely worth the extra dollar for their "Bridge Sauce," a seasoned fry sauce that paired perfectly with them. The restaurant and restrooms were both clean and well-maintained, something we always appreciate. Throughout our meal, the staff checked on us just the right amount, making sure our water glasses stayed full and that we had everything we needed without being intrusive. I think it's time I update my review even though I love the bridge and nothing has changed for me. This place is my favorite for comfort brunch food or even the wings. We're well into April but I still have friends that wanted to take me out for a belated birthday meal so I chose the bridge since it's been awhile. The brunch menu has changed a bit but still so good! They now offer a Benny flight and brisket Benny that I ordered. The brisket was delicious and the hollandaise really complimented it well. I also ordered a farmers Bloody Mary and it was so yummy!! Loved all the pickled veg that it came with. My friend said her Benny flight was delicious. Located in West Seattle's "The Junction," it's a solid sport bar if you're in the area to watch the Seahawks and grab a drink and some food. Parking was free and plenty of it on the streets. I visited on Super Bowl Sunday, about 2-3hrs before the game to get seats. This was a good idea because there was only a handful of seats available. We were lucky enough to get a table for 4 of us. The hosts were very welcoming and go us seated at the bar when it was only two of us. When we informed them about an hour prior to kick off that we needed two more seats, they did their best to get us seated. It was very kind of them to even look around, let alone actually find us space. This was very much appreciated. The first hour or so, when there was only two of us, we had a few beers, the cheese curds and the chicken fried steak with potatoes. The beers were exactly what you think they would taste like and they weren't terribly expensive which was nice. The cheese curds were a great shareable item, good flavor and a fair amount of them. The chicken fried steak was good, nothing crazy, but not below average. Portion was good sand it was cooked right to have that nice crips on the outside with the gravy poured over top. I think the only thing I wasn't that big of a fan of was the potatoes, I should've opted for the tots or hash potatoes instead, but I'll have to try it again. Yes, I would recommend this place. Seems like a good place to meet with friends for a game and meet friends. The Parmesan garlic fries are pretty good here but those Thai basil wings live on my head rent free!! I didn't know what to expect when trying these but damn they're really delicious!! Classic Mimosas were simple and satisfying- perfect complement to our food. My fiance got the chicken fried steak and I got the bridge bene. That sausage gravy is heavenly and so savory. This was a fantastic find thanks to Yelp! I was going to be in the area and opted to try to get some brunch. The Bridge sucked me in right away with vegetarian biscuits and gravy!! One of my favourite things to eat, but the veggie version can be hard to find and I'm too cool to make my own at home. The restaurant was very clean with plenty of lighting from the sun and I was greeted promptly. The server was really great the whole time and she definitely really tied the atmosphere together. I ended up getting a cruising the currant beverage, which was definitely really good and I'd really like to try some of the other cocktails they offer. I got the Back in Black biscuits, which came with a delightful black bean crumble. Excellent biscuit dish! The biscuit itself was the perfect texture and the gravy was perfectly made, not the exact same as the meat version, but it's close and I don't think I could do any better. I ended up taking a biscuit home for later and still found myself wanting more. I don't always go out to brunch, and I very rarely head up around West Seattle, but I most certainly need some more of that biscuit bar! read more

Understandably they were carded at the door. What is INSANE is they were told they would NOT be let in because they held international driver's licenses!! I expected the country sausage gravy to really hit well with their cheddar biscuit but the gravy just tasted super heavy. My stomach was not feeling good after this. Garlic Parm Fries (9/10): These are really good and I've had them before and they don't disappoint. They also have some good sauces to pick from that go well with it Price (9/10): $50 for 2 extra sides and 2 main breakfast meals and a mimosa so I didn't think that was bad Overall (5/10): The food here is always hit or miss so just depends when you go I guess. The Bridge is located a little south of the main shops and restaurants on California Ave. It's on the corner and plenty of side street parking. This establishment is 21+ only so don't bring the kiddos for brunch, which is only served on the weekends from 10-2pm. Definitely gives off a dive bar, sports bar vibe and it's pretty much self serve but they bring your food out to you, everything else you have to bring to your table such as drinks and water. There is a drip coffee refill station which I did not get this time as I opted for the Irish Kiss which has Jameson Irish Whiskey, Irish Cream, Hot Coffee, Lucky Charms Marshmallows in it but mine unfortunately did not come with the marshmallows which was disappointing. Food wise I got the Brisket omelette which had pretty good brisket I must say. I was pleased with how it tasted and the portions, albeit smaller than your normal brunch places, was a good portion for me. My boyfriend got the chicken fried steak which he found tasty as he cleaned his whole plate lol! I ordered a side of Texas toast and asked for the breakfast potatoes but got sourdough toast and has browns for my omelette itself which was also disappointing. We got a cozy booth, which each booth was by the window which was nice.
