If you do all this, sure, go to him. My first interaction was ok. I figured rough around the edges but I wanted my tractor fixed. It went well without problem. He offered to drop it off and I thought that was very accommodating. My next experience I dropped off 3 push mowers to get new spark plugs. Days went by, I finally got in touch. He told me to come down. I did.....1st mistake! When I got there he was alone. His jokes and attitude was offensive. Rough around the edges was an understatement! He told me about his divorce, his whole life, what he likes etc.... you see where this is going. I sat there silently and finally asked how much I owe him. Repeatedly... When he picked up on the fact the I wasn't interested he the told me 400$ that's outrageous!!! Back and fourth we went for an hour. Way too much time spent at this place! Finally agreeing on giving him the least expensive mower to sell and make the money I owed him. Then the other two mowers were mine. Seemed ok, even though 3 spark plugs shouldn't even with labour be 400$, but how did I know. The arrangement seemed ok. I waited weeks, he never called. When I finally did get in touch, he stated he sold them all. You get the point.... Be careful! Don't let your wives, daughters, sisters go there alone. Really a place to avoid! There are better mechanics out there that don't involve a drunk, drug addict that steals clients equipment after he figures out you wont be with him. Truly a sick man ..... The first was knee deep in conversation, as he answered all his questions, next was a pickup of something he'd finished, and one was a spontaneous "Can you fix this, I was right in the middle of ...", which he fixed in about 5 minutes with a part salvaged from another he kept for salvage purpose. Then there was me at the end of the line, it was 5 minutes past closing, with a mower someone else had deemed in need of major overhaul advising I buy a new one. In under 2 minutes, he'd tightened a cable, and the machine was running good as new. As someone else put it, "he saved me hundreds of dollars", and more importantly to me, hours upon hours of shopping for replacement, for no good reason.

I am not one to write bad reviews but this business deserves it. I brought a snowblower in for…read morerepair that I had just purchased at a yard sale. The machine would not run without choke and would skip. The engine was replaced by previous owner with a new engine less than year ago so I took a chance when I bought it. About a week after drop off I receive a call from the owner saying he could not get the snow-blower to run well but it should be good enough. Come pick up the unit. I asked if there was anything that could be done to make it better. and he never really responded. Since it was middle of summer I did not pick the unit up for a few months. ( my mistake) When I did go to pick up the unit it would not stay running. The owner blamed me for not getting the unit right away saying the gas went bad and reluctantly said he would look at it again. About a week later I returned to the shop the unit was running better than the week before but still rough and skipping and leat it would not cut out. The owner again said there is nothing else could do and became belligerent. I said if there is nothing else you can do I will talk the machine. Paid ~ $80.00 for an oil change and whatever else he did. At the first snow storm the engine started and as soon as it went under load it sputtered and stopped. I could not keep it running and had to call a snow plow for the next two storms This time I brough the machine to a reputable shop that has been in business at least 20 years. The new shop replaced carb nozzle, a few o rings and the carb linkage. The machine runs like new and I only paid $50. 00 for labor plus ~$10 for parts. The mechanic said the carb was perfectly clean and believed the real problem was that the carburetor linkage was incorrect for the machine. My suspicion is previous owner must have messed up the linkage when the engine was replace. Bottom line if you have a tough small engine problem I would skip Littleton Power. I am sure Littleton Power is ok for spark plugs, belts and oil changes.

At first, I had my son bring the truck in to look at the cap, where, after inspecting it, they recommended I schedule a follow-up appointment to get it repaired. I later brought the truck back myself for that appointment, and after no more than eight minutes of looking at it- I was told the cover was completely unrepairable and considered "trash." Despite this, the shop was not even willing to take it off my hands, and I had to drive the truck home with the cap on it, broken. After the frustrations of my time being wasted just to be told the cover was trash, I prepared to throw it out. My son, however, refused to believe that it was truly broken, and recommended I try bringing it to another truck cap shop instead. I ended up visiting Cap World in Salem, New Hampshire; and their staff evaluated the truck right away, finding that only issue (literally, only one), was a cracked hinge. They recommended I order a new one from Leer and install it myself. Less than 20 minutes after the part had delivered, I had replaced the hinge myself, and the cap worked perfectly. I should also note I am not a mechanic or engineer, this was as simple as a task could get. Based on my experience with Yankee, one of two things happened: Their staff were either incompetent, or they simply did not want to do the repair. If it was the latter, I wish they'd been honest from the start instead of sending me on an extra hour of driving for an appointment that was completely useless. I'd recommend others save themselves the trouble, and visit another shop instead.

They brought my truck right in and installed the cover quickly. I was in and out inside of thirty minutes. Pricing was upfront and easy to understand.
