Good people..very kind and professional, even gave my daughter a ride to work after she dropped off the car. They clearly explained the work needed..in my case a ck engine light was flashing on my daughters 2014 Nissan Pathfinder and while suspecting the catalytic converter they suggested a tuneup first hoping that would solve the problem w/o having to replace the converter. A week, 6 spark plugs, 6 ignition coils & $2200 later the ck engine light came back on (something they told me could happen) and I had to have the cat. converter replaced anyway... which I had done @ another shop closer to home that specializes in that type work. No doubt the plugs & coils needed replacing but I just thought $2200 for a tuneup was way too expensive...the garage that ultimately replaced the converter confirmed my thinking telling me I overpaid by about $500 for the tuneup. In summary if you're in a pinch like I was and can't shop around, Two Guys Garage can certainly be trusted to do quality and timely work... just be sure to bring your checkbook cause it's gonna cost ya. read more

two guys garage was a pleasant and welcoming experience that was quick in its servicing, and i would return if/when needed! i was given a warning for an expired inspection sticker and saw that two guys garage was close by so i immediately called to have an updated sticker. it was a first come basis so i swung by and was greeted at the front desk. the waiting area was clean and comfortable during these cold winter days, i was especially happy to see they had a new face which was an adorable puppy! the technician inspected my car fast and i was on my way home within about 30 minutes. i would recommend this shop to anyone looking for quality service within a reasonable time:)) read more

These guys are genuinely nice, I came here a few times to get some stuff done for my car. Recently I went to update my inspection sticker and they gave me a few reasons why my car wouldn't be able to pass. One reason was my rear window wiper, they didn't explain why I needed to change it. It worked perfectly fine and honestly I replaced that thing not too long ago and it seemed fine. It really just felt like they're trying to make an extra buck off of me and charge me for the product / labor. ‍ I could be wrong but I don't know I just find it silly that my car won't pass inspection over a rear wiper that worked perfectly fine. Two Guys Garage, the sign still says Bob Stevens but for me it is all about Doug (the other is Bob). I brought my Audi in when the serpentine belt went out. Doug gave me a fair price, less than the other garages in lowell and got me in and out in less than half a day. I have taken my car back and had them check out some other issues I have been having and Doug is efficient, fair and patient when explaining what I need, should have done immediately and what can wait. I drive by the shop often and notice that a local school bus company brings their buses in for work, a positive sign for me. If you want a mechanic who is pleasant, knowledgeable and seems to treat his customers fairly then give Two Guys a shot. Oh and a full synthetic oil change there is less expensive than Jiffy Lube and the money they charge stays in the community. I have finally found a local mechanic I trust and who treats his customers well. read more

These guys are fantastic! I never say that about vehicle maintenance employees. These kids took me in right away because there was a cancellation and I asked for the availability to have my car oil changed. They probably would have loved a lunch break (my guess) but instead said okay. No arguing that you did not have an appointment, etc., etc. None of the that, but gracious young men gladly helping me and servicing my car. I've never had service done on any cars without at least one moody technician yelling at me for something foolish. Not here!! I'll definitely be back again for service. Try them. Prices are above average. Told my daughter she needed 2 new rear tires and gave her rejection sticker. So we went to other places and they said rear tires were fine. The first oil change was 80.00 and the second for same car was 60.00, why are they different prices? They also did not know that on her all wheel drive car, all 4 tires need to be replaced at same time for traction/balancing etc... They also said the last alignment could have caused tire problems. Guess who did last alignment? They did. Kelly Clarification: The reason there was a difference in oil change prices is because they said the last one did not have tires rotated. I found these guys after having an inspection snafu at the nearby RMV, over three years ago. I was driving my first new Mazda and before meeting these guys I only took it to the dealer. But after finding them for an inspection sticker and appreciating their professional courtesy I later returned for an oil change. I kept coming back for more maintenance work. And for three years straight they have done great work on my car. I have most appreciated their honesty of when the car has needed and NOT needed a specific type of work. They have totally earned my respect and trust . They have diagnostic tools have helped me make decisions and frankly have kept better records on what they have done on my Mazda better than me.
