Walked in and there was a lot of customers waiting on their orders. The 3 individuals behind the counter were working diligently. I stood near the shelf for the online orders and waited. The shelf is right by the counter to order, but noone asked acknowledged me or asked if I needed assistance. It didn't really bother me initially, because I was about 3 minutes early and saw they had a lot of people waiting. A family came in and the man stood at the counter patiently for a while and was not acknowledged. The young lady preparing the online orders placed a few orders on the shelf before walking over with what looked like mine. As ashe got closer I asked if the name was mine, and she just handed me the bag, cup & straw without saying anything. No nodding of the head, no yes, no have a good day, nothing even after I said " Thank you". The time prior to that they were having loud personal conversations while customers were there, which I didn't was appropriate. Also, my acai bowl was missing an item, but I didn't notice until I got home and didn't have the energy at that time of evening to go back or even call. As soon as I pulled in, someone was there to greet me and take my order, and despite the crowd, the line moved super quickly. The energy was high, everyone was friendly, and it honestly just felt fun to be there. They were giving out free small drinks of your choice for the big day, which was such a nice touch. It's always great to see a new spot open with this kind of excitement. Drink choices were plentiful especially the variety. If I get a tea on a future visit, I will request light ice. The menu is extensive and there are combos where you can get a tea + a shake which will save some coins if you're indecisive. Typically I stick by my diet however I decided branch out and try the bacon and gouda egg bites. Wow, these are really good and low in carbs! So this doctor Evil got to work I decided on a Latte with two shots of salted caramel, one vanilla, one hazelnut and finally one toasted marshmallow. I hate giving away my pure genius but "if you love something set it free...." There you have it, one of the best concoctions you'll ever try. The smoothness of the latte was elevated by the saltiness and sweetness of the caramel while the vanilla and hazelnut offered just that background favor to keep the tastebuds curious and the toasted mallow gave a hit of fire roasted burnt to the equation. Yes I'm complimenting myself but they have the ingredients on hand and mixed it. Kudos to them. Overall, I was pleasantly surprised how good the coffee is here. Moreover, the people are extremely friendly and the service is fast. At the window the lady was nice saying words from an ancient dialect like "please, thank you, you're welcome" and so on. It's just one day before Valentine's Day. I got my shake and it looked so cute. It had strawberry syrup swirled in the cup so it looked striped with the red syrup and the brown of the chocolate in the shake. She gave me whipped cream with red heart shaped sprinkles on top. How sweet. I loved the presentation. The woman working was very nice. The shake tastes good. I recommend.
