They seem to get a lot of carry out business. We ordered an Aldo's Special Pizza, with spinach substituted for bacon. The pizza came out nice and piping hot after around 20 minutes. The toppings were fresh and tasty. The crust was a little dry, but it was okay. There was oregano present on the pizza. I swear all the pizza places in Rochelle that aren't chains except for this one think oregano is unavailable or something, but along with a little fennel, it really makes pizza better. Our drink glasses stayed filled - we stuck with soft drinks tonight, and water.

I was upset at this point. Aldo must of been at the bar having a few by his demeanor. I get the pizzas home and open them. One pizza was thinner than a graham cracker. The pizza wasn't fully cooked so the hot melted cheese made the cracker crust soggy. Grossest pizza I ever had. I called up to talk to Aldo after a 10 minute wait on the phone. Front end needs proper training in customer service, attitude, and communication with its customers. Aldo said what can I do to make it right. I asked him what would you do if this happened to you? He said you don't want to go there. I suggested the pizza should be free at this point for such a horrible service. He ended up laughing and hung the phone up on me. I've been a customer of this establishment for over 25 years and this is how you treat a loyal customer? Beyond bad.
