In fact, the multi year transformation that its currently undergoing makes it less of a traditional mall and more of a mini city that has spawned into a mixed-use commercial district. Their use of natural lighting all throughout the space makes it an ideal place for a photo in any corner. In addition to the space, many stores have stepped in with a good number that are high-end to appease all of the new money coming into the city of Richmond. It has become a leisurely destination for families and teenagers as folks roam the mall from corner to corner. One of the most significant transformations has been their food court, which has been dubbed the DiningTERRACE and features a number of food and drink spots. The only downside has been the mediocrity of most spots, which has plenty of room for improvement. Parking is also a mess, especially during the weekend. Folks are constantly competing for space and camping out has become a necessity during their busiest times. Honestly there aren't enough spaces. The mall is pretty cramped. There are random small business throughout the corridors. The only real reason to visit this place randomly is for the 2F food court. This one is really hard to visit, as they are only open during business hours, and are closed by 1700. Not only that, but not every place is open every weekday. For example, on Monday, probably 5 of the 12 places were closed. Can't eat dinner here - lunches and afternoon snacks only. I've been told there are quite a few gems here. I got the beef tendon noodles but I notice everywhere that people were eating the large chicken wings. I missed out. But my beef tendon noodle was hot and good and more than enough. My wife got the Singapore Mei Fun, which was enough to feed 4. Nice place to visit and May came back again.
