Our longtime dentist retired and the next office I tried, Vacaville Dental Group, randomly stopped taking our insurance after onboarding all four of my kids. Instead of being upfront, they tried to charge us and kept saying they were "working on getting back in network." Weeks turned into months, my daughter needed a checkup, and the front desk response from a lady when I called was... let's just say, less than warm. Immediate nope. Cue Kids Care Dental, aka, why didn't we come here sooner?! This place is clearly designed for kids and parents who value sanity. TVs on the ceiling, sunglasses, headphones, and a calm, welcoming vibe that immediately lowers your blood pressure. The dentist is one of the kindest, most patient humans, she genuinely loves working with kids, and it shows. Every staff member was wonderful. While I was there, another little patient had a hard time leaving a toy behind, and an employee simply let him keep it. Meltdown avoided, mom relieved, kid ecstatic. Honestly, I almost asked if I could have a toy too The only small hiccup: calling initially routes to a call center, not the clinic, which made asking questions a bit annoying.
