I finally decided to get braces as an adult and the process was surprisingly very easy and am very pleased with the outcome. Dr Portalupi is amazing! Very knowledgeable, gentle, friendly & makes sure you are happy with the outcome. I actually needed additional detailing before I got my braces off. The staff is professional and always courteous. There were a few times I had to call for a same day appointment and they had no problem getting me in. I was able to choose the payment plan that best fit my budget with 0% apr which is awesome!!! I believe this is something they offer to everyone but I know not all places offer this. All in all I'm very happy I chose Creekside Orthodontics. read more

edit: My name is Kelsi and the negative experience I had largely stemmed from the fact that I was sold an overly aggressive treatment plan. I have bruxism( severe grinding of the teeth) and was told this is due to my jaw joint positioning. " - i was told to wear a splint 24/7 for 6 months. I continuously brought up my concerns throughout treatment and was reassured that years of past success meant my treatment would also work. I don't doubt this treatment works for some people, but I wasn't delivered individual patient care because if I was then I should have stopped treatment early. I also want to note that while my service agreements state there isn't guaranteed success it does NOT state that if treatment fails your jaw may NEVER return to its original position and your face may permanently look different. In addition, I have accumulated an onslaught of additional painful symptoms that were not there prior to treatment and paid thousands of dollars for this treatment and consequently thousands more to fix what was wrongfully done. I obviously regret not doing more independent research. read more

The office is clean, and staff usually is pleasantly nice. They do have one staff member that is rude, but not bad, Right?! Dr. Anderson ruined my teeth, bite, jaw, my nose collapsed, he insisted on wanting to break my jaw, and the only other option after I said no for weeks was to do a phrenectomy (which did not work) and to pull 4 perfect teeth. That procedure has been deemed unacceptable from the ada. It has led to cause jaw pain, misalignment and TMJ. All of which I have had since. I can breathe only partially from my nose, and have to keep my mouth partially open, teeth apart since the removal of 4 teeth has left me without room enough for my tongue and to swallow. I had come back after braces were removed and he didn't want to help me. I went to several orthodontists and plastic surgeons all have said $19,000 to $25,000 to do the repairs and that he should have never removed my teeth! I am still suffering with TMJ and have had a couple procedures done to be able to breath. He also drilled the side of many since he didn't do what he should have done. Straighten the bottom teeth and replaced a bar behind my 2 front teeth or bonded the 2 front teeth ,of which is what I asked him to do. Lesson, go elsewhere and 2 never let someone bully you into doing something as big as this descision, especially where you are still in mourning from the loss of your parents. Definitely was not the best descison I made in life. It changed my life for the worse! read more

I wish I had a better experience with this office. The staff and Dr. were very nice and friendly, but the issue I had was with my treatment. A lot of my treatment plan lacked transparency. When I initially went to this office and had my consult I was told one thing but as my treatment started I felt everything changed. All in all I spent about 5 years with treatment time, first starting with splint therapy and then going into braces. And after all that time and money I still had very unsatisfactory results. So now I've had to go to another orthodontist to try to fix what was done here, and they seem very confused why my treatment was handled the way it was, and why I had extractions that they said were unnecessary.Very frustrating and feels like it was a money grab rather than actually what was best for treatment. Getting much faster results with the new orthodontist I am at in a much shorter time. read more

Dr. Crawford and his staff were always very pleasant and caring. However, if you're looking to resolve TMJ problems through the "splint" approach you are gambling. I wish I listened to the warnings I read and heard from other dentistry professionals. We spent $2,500+ and I was worse off then when I came in. I ended up with some flimsy temporary aligners which gave minor relief and a splint which made my symptoms much worse. They offered no refunds and wanted to charge for additional visits for the aligners. Highly disappointed after spending that kind of money and then having to search for another specialist and start all over again. read more

I was new to the area and looking for an orthodontist for my daughter. I drove by and saw the sign hanging in front of their building that they were voted #1 orthodontist in Solano County for 2010. WONDERFUL !! I am so happy I stopped and inquired and looked thru reviews (all positive!). I am so happy with their services. Dr. Scott Anderson is AWESOME !!! And the staff there, well, nothing short of AWESOMENESS!!! (is that a word?..lol) I was wondering how I was going to pay for braces, but along with my insurance, I was able to make monthly payments that they set up independently....separate from applying for a credit card or loan....just an interest-free payment plan between me and them. Times are tough right now...and just by them setting this up has made it easier for me to afford my daughter braces. Creekside is the BEST !!! Love you guys!! read more

Not only has my son had his braces for over two years with hardly any changes but his brackets break all the time. My daughter goes to Dr. Anderson in Fairfield and never has issues. My first impression was great. The lady who helped me make an appt was super nice and helpful. My appt was today and I had every intention on going. Then I have no idea how but about an hour before my appt I completely forgot about it. 20 mins after my appt was to have begun I realized I had missed it. I called immediately and was very apologetic and the girl who answered the phone was very nice and understanding then had to transfer me to Leslie(pretty sure that was her name) who was who I was having my consult with. She was annoyed that I missed my appt and told me if I wanted to reschedule it was going to be a $50 fee. I'm sorry what? Maybe I caught her on a bad day but her attitude def did not fit with the other two ladies I had talked to previously. She said there was nothing she could do and I told her I would just make an appt else where. She didn't seem to care at all and acted like I inconveuncenced her whole day by missing my appt. I understand it sucks when people miss appts but things happen and if I was a reg patient who was constantly missing appts I'd understand. When I called the other orthoboffice and told them what happend they couldn't believe it. Needless to say I will not be giving my business to them. And I only gave the second star bc of the first two ladies I talked to. read more
