But my smile is still important. So what is that tall handsome hero to do?I called Nut Tree Smiles , I told them my sad tale and they said there was a wizard who likes to be called Dr. Gill, He had many helpers Lyz, Yuri and foy sounds like Troy, the wizard, (I mean) Dr. Gill and his merry team of hospitality champions, ban together to turn this hideous man cursed with 2 holes in his smile,,, With no pain and no words the wizard restored the brillante smile When I asked how many wagons of of Gold would this price to release the curse, with a smile and a wink prince insurance covered most of i think, i still had to pay some cash, you know what i mean but I was able to ride home to my queen who was pleased with the wizardry that was done, and once again we can go out into the kingdom and have some fun But, on the real here's the deal, they helped me in a very professional way, and felt no pain during the whole procedure. Upon checking in for my second appointment, I informed the front desk staff that I was there for my…read more2:30 PM appointment. I was instructed to sign a digital pad. Before signing, I asked what I was authorizing. The staff member explained that my insurance covered the visit and that there would be no out-of-pocket cost for the cleaning. I then asked if I could review whatever it was before signing. Unfortunately, I was told they don't do it that way. I wasn't provided with a printed copy of what I signed either. I was then escorted to Room 12 by a young staff member who stated that she would begin by polishing my teeth. After polishing and flossing, I asked when the actual cleaning would begin. I was told that the dentist would be performing the cleaning. When the dentist entered the room, he was polite and professional. However, the entire examination lasted less than three minutes. He briefly poked around at my teeth, told me everything looked good, and then offered a fluoride treatment for $25, explaining that my insurance would not cover it. When I asked if there was anything else remaining, he replied that the appointment was complete and that I was free to leave. This experience was very different from any dental cleaning I have received at other dental offices. In my experience, a routine cleaning typically includes a dental hygienist using an ultrasonic scaler to remove plaque and tartar buildup around all the teeth & gumline, followed by hand-scaling with traditional dental instruments to remove any remaining deposits. This process generally takes 25-30 minutes or longer, depending on the patient's needs. It's what feels like the little power washer cleaning every tooth for those that have experienced it. During this visit, neither of those procedures took place. The appointment felt more like a quick polishing and flossing rather than a comprehensive dental cleaning. As a result, I left with the impression that my teeth had simply been brushed by an electric tooth brush while my insurance was billed for a cleaning service. Based on my personal experience, I would not recommend this office for dental cleanings. I encourage prospective patients to ask detailed questions about what services are included in their appointment and to ensure they understand exactly what treatment they are receiving.

They always make polite conversation and I don't know if they keep notes or something but they seem to remember each person and the details about them! They accept Delta Dental. Everyone is really nice! They're so tactful even if you haven't had the best oral hygiene practices. I fell off the dentist schedule during Covid and only recently got back... They did not shame me. Multiple text reminders for appointments. They book your next visit at the end of each appointment. So they make it easy for you to stay on top of your visits. The hygienist appointments book out pretty far. I learned so much from them about oral hygiene! I never knew there was a prescription extra fluoride toothpaste available. Or the proper technique for cleaning. Or that carbonated beverages are acidic and cause tooth decay and more cavities. The experience is actually very comfortable for a dentist office! They offer sunglasses so you're blinded by the bright lights. They also offer blankets if you're feeling cold. They have screens playing YouTube videos of relaxing scenes like beaches.

Despite my history with them, the front desk chose to call me four times back-to-back while I was in the middle of handling a student crisis at work. They never left a voicemail; they just kept spamming my phone until I answered, thinking it was an emergency. The reason for the harassment? A balance of $3.20. What is most infuriating is that after the phone call, I had to be the one to request an email with a payment link, which they then sent. Why couldn't they have done that in the first place? Instead of a 30-second digital solution, they chose to disrupt my workday and ignore my boundaries. The receptionist was incredibly rude and showed zero situational awareness or respect for my time. To treat someone this way over literally less than five dollars is insulting. I have cancelled my upcoming appointment and will be taking my business elsewhere. Avoid this place if you value professional courtesy.

This review is actually about 2 years overdue. Two years ago I had been to another dentist office…read morein Vacaville and had a nightmarish experience. Fortunately for me my employer expanded the dentist selection to include Vacaville Dentistry & Orthodontics, and 2 others. After reading the reviews and comments throughout social media and yelp I went ahead and made the switch. When I had my first appointment I wasn't completely enrolled in their office through my employer but when I shared my experience with the other dental office they went ahead and let me have my initial exam. The office staff was very friendly and kind. When I got called back (I keep a journal in case anyone reading is wondering how I have such a good recall) the dentist listened as I shared my nightmarish experience at the other dental office and the "plan" they had for my teeth. She had the x-rays done and then did the exam. She debunked every part of the "plan" the other office had come up with. Said that aside from 2 cavities I was fine. They even cleaned my teeth even though I wasn't yet fully enrolled. We scheduled the appointment about a month out to let enrollment fully happen. When I came in for the cavities I got checked in and called back to the room right away. The work was done efficiently and no problems! The office is very clean and the staff are all amazing! 2020 I wasn't able to get in for obvious reasons (COVID). This year I decided it was time to get back on track with my dental and made my appointment in May. Went in to have 2 teeth looked at and get my cleaning. They shared that the pain was being caused because of the tooth was mostly filling and not much tooth and the nerves had enough and needed root canals. This is my only complaint is a month ago I had my root canals. The endodontist did a poor job of trying to numb the one tooth and I experienced most of the feeling. But overall afterwords they made sure I was okay and got some pain killers for me. Apparently I had inflammation of the gums at the one tooth and thus it was a "hot tooth" and numbing wasn't working. Yesterday I went in to get my temporary crowns. The appointment went quite well and the I was properly numbed. By the time both teeth were taken care of the numbing wore off so I was able to go home without having to wait for it to wear off. Overall I love this dental office and I'm thrilled to have found it. Unless I lose my dental insurance I can guarantee I'm a long time client!

Then they started charging me near $850.00 before I even got anything. When I got them, the dentist was quiet and never even cleaned the extra flue off. Then they kept charging me after I paid off the whole amount, and I was never told adjustments were free so I dis not go back. And I paid extra for the insurance, $1800.00 more total. I feel that you better watch your money when you go there, make sure you are not getting over charged!

Throughout those years, I've always appreciated the quality of care from the dental team. I genuinely like the dentists, Jennifer is an outstanding hygienist, and Jessica and Mia in the front office have always been wonderful to work with. Unfortunately, since the transition to Vacaville Dental Group, management has changed several times, and the overall patient experience has declined significantly. The biggest issue is appointment scheduling and wait times. For decades, I rarely waited more than a few minutes for an appointment. Now, it seems routine to wait 30 minutes, typically longer. Today was the final straw. My 6 year old daughter had a cleaning scheduled for 9:30 AM, and I had a cleaning scheduled for 10:00 AM. After waiting about 10 minutes, I let Mia know that I had an 11:30 meeting and needed to stay on schedule. She assured me we would be out on time. By 9:55 AM, neither my daughter nor I had been called back. While sitting in the waiting room, I received a text notification stating that my daughter's appointment had been moved to 10:30 AM. At that point, we had already been waiting for over 30 minutes. When I questioned the delay, the new front office manager argued with me and insisted my daughter's appointment had always been scheduled for 10:00 AM, not 9:30 AM. I had text message confirmation showing the original 9:30 appointment time. Rather than acknowledging the scheduling change, she dismissed my concerns and made it seem as though I was mistaken. The interaction felt dishonest, unprofessional, and incredibly frustrating. After 27 years as patients, my husband, my children, my mother, and I have decided to take our business elsewhere. It's disappointing because most of the clinical staff remains excellent, but poor management and a lack of accountability have completely changed the experience. I truly hope Vacaville Dental Group improves its management practices because the dental team deserves better support than what patients are currently experiencing. I'm giving 2 stars to save some face for the current staff who has always been great. My 6 year old even wants to be a dentist one day because she loves Jennifer so much.

The tooth had to be removed by an oral surgeon and put on another antibiotic. When I contacted Jason regarding this issue I was told that because the roots were removed there should be no pain and that the root canal was "very well done". Well, let me assure you that an abscess and bone infection do in fact cause pain. It also cost the dentist office to lose my entire family (of 6) as cash paying customers because we will never step foot into this office again. I hope the $3000+ was worth it.
