Dr. Khoury did oral surgery on my tooth with a root canal that had a fracture. Him and his entire staff are so pleasant and accommodating. The whole surgery was less than an hour. Cracked tooth, my (old dentist) recommended root canal, an cap. 3/23. 12/23 cap broke off. Returned to dentist an they removed cap which was held by gum tissue. Then told it would be a 2 hour appt. to extract rest of the tooth. Retained the cap/tooth an with layman analysis concluded that size of cap, an remaining structure of tooth, that after 8 months use.... failure. Repair or extraction on 3/23, negligent or money based this decision? Appt. with Dr. Khoury for tooth extraction.....xray, chair, numbness, extraction approximately 20 minutes. Took my 5 year old son into see Dr Sam Khoury for pediatric dentist care. The staff made my child feel very uncomfortable and was not able to administer any care. We left with nothing being accomplished. They choose to still bill me for $320.00 for services not rendered. I refused to pay and they sent it to collections. I was able to get the work done at another dentist which I highly recommend. I would Avoid Sam Khoury at all costs. They were very uncaring and impatient to my 5 year old and myself. I have been so pleased with Dr. Khoiry & his entire staff. My 5-year-old was in need of oral surgery, which was completed today. They made the consult appointment easy and the surgery appointment seamless. The entire staff was so patient and welcoming toward both my 5 and 9 year old, and never once was my daughter fearful. They allowed me to stay in the room with her until the procedure began, and once I went to the waiting room, I don't think I wanted more than 3 minutes before the procedure was over. They are both efficient and very good at what they do, and with superb bedside manner. Additionally, the out of pocket cost was more than I could afford today, so they allowed me to set up a payment plan which they were very understanding about. Finally, I received two follow up calls after my daughter's surgery on the same day, one from the office staff, and a second call from Dr. Khoury himself. My daughter had her very impacted wisdom teeth removed on a Thursday. Dr. Khoury and his staff were so amazing and friendly. They told us what was happening every step of the way. We were able to go back into the room with her and hold her hand while she was about to be 'asleep'. While she was having the surgery I was able to head across the street at Raley's to grab the meds she would need after. They were ready in 20 minutes. By the time I got back she was still finishing up and the staff went over everything we would need to do over the next few days to help her manage pain, diet, etc. we were sent home with a little pack with contained gauze, a sock to use for cooling/heating compress and a pamphlet in case we forgot anything (let's face it we forget things). Once surgery was over she was wheeled out to our car and they saw her safely off. That evening Dr called us himself to check on her and the staff called us the next morning! They really care for their patients. I had to call a couple of times for questions and they were always so delightful and helpful. It's Wednesday now and our daughter has healed so well and had no problems. We are so happy with Dr. Khoury and his staff. We will always use his services when needed and refer him to whomever is seeking his profession. read more
