    Cones/fresh churros

First thing first my biggest problem and pet peeve was that they had a menu with about 8 items and six off them were crossed off because they didn't have the ingredients Danm shame. What I ordered was cool it reminded me of almost a yogurt type texture but was very much so ice cream which was good and if they ever get the full menu back available I seem a few other options I wouldn't mind trying but as a business y'all have to get it together!

the interior always gets me. It's so cute and colorful for a post dinner dessert. Their portion sizes are fair but pricey !! Which i think is attributed to the unique toppings and high quality soft serve :)) the big one is def worth if you can finish it in terms of size. It's never too crowded here which is nice (and surprising). It's right connected to lloyd so I'm tempted every time lol.

The churro sundaes are very Instagram worthy if I do say so myself. They have an assortment of unique flavors. I got 'the velvet room' for my love of red velvet and it was SO GOOD and awfully filling. Bring your sweet toothed loved ones here for a cute date.

Ice cream has been tricky for me lately (not cheese though, hopefully never cheese) so when I saw that they had a coconut soft serve made with coconut milk, I had to give it a try. $2 for a baby cone, but it was so rich, I still couldn't finish (that may have had something to do with a cupcake I'd had earlier). The texture was fascinating, not in a bad way. It almost felt like a cross between traditional soft serve and ice cream. My son had a mint condition. That was a bit more expensive at $5.99, but maybe that's because of the crushed grasshopper cookies they add. He couldn't finish, either. Great service. Seating inside and out.

I cannot say enough good things about this spot!! Vegan options are there, churrros are vegan! My one recommendation is if you love churros as much as I do, go for the extra churros. I got the Caramelicious one, which is basically bananas foster with a churro.

Stopped here while walking down Hertel with yelp bud Teresa and really enjoyed the experience! They make their own ice cream which is always a plus for me when I go out, and they are committed to making their ice cream from natural, grass fed cows which is pretty cool. They even have dairy free options. They have a variety of soft serve options, from cones, to sort of flurries, to sundaes to specialty cones. I opted for the take 6 which features chocolate soft serve covered in pretzels, peanuts, toffee and caramel sauce. It was a delicious combination! If you love, or think you might like a sweet and salty combination this one is definitely for you! With the pandemic procedures still in place you do not actually enter the building. They have a table with a cash register in the door so you give your order there, they have signs on the windows with their selections, and then the worker will make it and bring it up to you so that the waiting is all outside. They have markings on the concrete to aid in social distancing. On our way Teresa told me they make their waffle cones from scratch and we were super excited to get those. Unfortunately freshness also means they might not have any at a particular moment which happened when we visited, hopefully next time I stop by they will! This place is a treat!

Really good, no complaints. Pulled up around 8pm on a Friday night, I don't think there was a line or anything. Cute, clean place attached to Lloyds. Bright atmosphere. Quick friendly service. Probably not enough space for a big group, but great for stopping in with a friend or two. Not a super big menu but everything is customizable. You can order using the touchscreen computer pad or by talking to the employee. The touchscreen option was super easy to use. I want to say we were served in less than 5 minutes. My ice cream was gooood and not outrageously priced. You can tell everything was freshly made and very quality! The churro was loveeelyyyy. I haven't had a churro this good since Cali! Not everybody can get them right, so I highly recommend. Just the right kind of crispy on the outside and soft and warm on the inside. I got it with the hot fudge (came in a little plastic cup) which was the goood kind of hot fudge (not like that stuff at mcdonalds). I think the churro was like 1.99 so not bad at all. Definitely worth a quick trip! Won't dissapoint.

Churn has been on my list to visit for some time now and I finally had the chance to stop by. It's such a cute little place and the decor is adorable. I am a huge fan of anything strawberry shortcake so I decided to try the strawberry short cone. At first bite you get the taste of the strawberry and then an odd burst of lavender, which caught me off guide. Clearly my need for ice cream caused me to not read the description entirely. It was just an okay for me. The waffle cone wasn't crunchy like normal waffle cones and the ice cream was just ok. The customer service was good and it was nice and clean inside. I probably wouldn't return.

Amazing! Finally stopped in after getting lunch at Lloyd (the two are connected) and got the Strawberry Crunch. Absolutely delicious. There is plenty of indoor seating and two tables outside, plus the outdoor seating for Lloyd next door. They have a ton of flavors and specialty cones and sundaes to choose from and I can't wait to go back to try more!

I'm such a fan of this place! Their soft serve is smooth, creamy, and not too sweet. I ordered a regular sized strawberry shortcone which is basically a strawberry shortcake soft serve! It comes with strawberry soft serve dipped in strawberry, lavender shortbread, and lemon zest. So good and refreshing! The toppings were sooo crunchy and really hit the spot. The portion was huge and I had to take the rest home. For $4, you really can't beat that price for the quality that you get. My pup also got to try the Treat Yo Pup sundae which comes with coconut soft serve and PB with a little treat. He loved it! (But he likes everything really). You can either order over the phone or at the counter. They have tape on the ground to maintain your distance from other customers.

YES. 10/10 will be coming back and I live 7 hours away lol! THE BEST vegan soft serve I've ever had. So light, creamy, and satiating thanks to the coconut milk. And AFFORDABLE! This was like $5 altogether with the espresso! Pro tip: make some affogato magic by scooping the ice cream into the coffee. Chef's kiss perfection.

Maui wowie. Strawberry custard with pineapple ginger sauce, honey Balsamic marscapone and churro! Yummy!
    Stanley C.

Yum! Absolutely loved the flavor and consistency of this soft serve. Got the maui wowie, which had strawberry custard with pineapple ginger sauce, honey Balsamic marscapone and a churro! The custard was very creamy and thick. Flavor was on point with a light strawberry flavor that kinda reminded me of a strawberry Starburst. The pineapple ginger sauce complemented very well. Not quite sure I liked the Balsamic marscapone as the texture was slightly odd with the ice cream. I was most excited about the churro but unfortunately the center was doughy and not cooked well. It was not crispy, but thick and very cakey /over cooked. I would definitely come back just for the custard itself, skip the churro as it was not that good. It was a little pricey though!

In the middle of the Hertel Ave strip, this is a fave spot for me and my little dude after visiting Grampa around the corner. Never in my life have I had an ice cream experience better than "The Billionaire", and that's saying something. If you like Nutella... you gotta get over there and order one immediately. Parking can be tricky with it being right on Hertel, but I love a good stroll around the neighborhood, and it seems to be bustling all the time now. Good for people watching!

The most instagramable ice cream cone out there. Their hazelnut cone has GOLD SPRINKLES. It's almost too pretty to eat...almost.

The sausage is flavorful, the egg is cooked perfectly, and everything melts together in that satisfying, messy-in-the-best-way breakfast sandwich experience. It hits every time. The atmosphere was warm, inviting, and effortlessly cool, the kind of place that makes you want to linger for hours with a good book and a great cup of coffee. My fiancé and I each ordered one of their specialty coffees along with bagels, and everything was fantastic. After a less than stellar experience at Tim Hortons earlier in the trip, Seven Hearts completely redeemed our coffee expectations. It was exactly the aesthetic and experience I had been searching for. What really made it special was how quickly it felt like a place I could make part of my routine. If I lived in Buffalo, this would absolutely be my go to coffee shop. Before leaving, I picked up a couple of honey sticks and a bottle of their house made lavender syrup to bring home. Now I get to enjoy a little taste of Seven Hearts, and Buffalo, with my morning coffee for a few more days.

Upon entering, no one greeted me, and I felt rushed while looking over the menu. When I asked questions, it felt like I was inconveniencing the employee rather than being helped. I ordered the blueberry lemon bar matcha and hoped the drink would redeem the experience, but it was disappointing. The flavor combination didn't work well in a matcha drink, and it left a strange aftertaste/coating in my mouth. I also specifically requested no dairy (asked for oat milk) yet it still came topped with cold foam, which upset my stomach. It looked cute, but for nearly $9, it wasn't enjoyable. I had originally planned to order food as well, but the overall atmosphere and interaction felt so uncomfortable that I decided to just take my drink and leave.

I was thrilled to finally make to it Cafe Bewilderment for lunch yesterday. First and foremost, the Monocle Building itself is stunning with immaculate vibes. Once we found Cafe Bewilderment, I was, in fact, bewildered. It's beautiful, it's wild, and it's a place I already know I'll want to return to again and again. The setup is simple: order at the counter, grab your table marker (a very tiny tree stump - how fun is that?), and your food is brought out to you. All of the employees were friendly and the gentleman at the register helped me decide between the Lox Sandwich and the Hot Honey Burrata. He recommended the lox so I went with that. The Lox Sandwich was more of a lox toast than a sandwich, but whatever it was delicious and surprisingly filling. My mom ordered the Bewild BLT and ended up taking half of it home, so I'd say hers was also filling. To drink, I ordered a hot latte with lavender and cardamom. It was so, so good, and the presentation was chef's kiss. Honestly, though, the decor is mesmerizing. Everywhere you look there's something interesting to admire - even the bathroom. I really, really, really want to come back to try more of the menu as well as their cocktails. Something tells me Cafe Bewilderment is just as magical in the evening as it is during the day!!!
