My first time visiting here for a 3 day 2 night stay for a travelzoo deal & it was quite pleasant indeed. They have excellent customer service here. Call & ask for what you want & you shall receive. I like the food here & they have many wine tasting sampling tours & its very cheap. The inn is really nice. The rooms are pretty big & complimentary breakfast is actually good. Horrible. First they changed my room for unknown reasons, three times. I made it very clear that this was a mini_honeymoon and I wanted the best. The room was spacious. I noticed a lot of minor repairs that needed to be done. Us painted plaster from a leak. Huge pieces of dry wall missing on the patio, which was full of bird poop. The patio was supposed to be a high light of the room. My husband and I tried to enjoy ourselves regardless. Until it was time for bed and we turned on the air conditioner and the ceiling started leaking. Leaking very loud. We called the after hours number which basically stated no one could help us until engineering got there in the morning.they threw towels on floor to help but it didn't stop the noise. We ended up packing our things and leaving. They did refund us for the nights stay. read more

Quaint, secluded but near major roadway, wonderful staff and very good wines. My wife and I spent a quiet weekend in the Temecula Valley, CA after many years tied to our business. We enjoyed the wines, joined their Wine Club, and must comment on the excellent dinner we had with wine pairings,on Friday. The Chef was amazing the five course meal was very well done and the pairings were done with the Winery's best wines. I ordered Seabass and Sandi ordered the Prime Rib. Both were amazing! If you're planning a weekend getaway plan on Churon Winery for your stay we will be back that's for sure. read more

Yuck!!! These are the worst wines I've ever tasted not only in Temecula but anywhere. The grounds are nice and looks like a nice place to stay. The tasting room is down a set of marble stairs. The woman pouring the wines was very nice. Unfortunately the wines are awful. I don't want to put them down too much but not one wine was even real drinkable. I ended up pouring all my tastes away. Stay away from their "chocolate" dessert wine. It burned my nose upon smelling it and was just the worst thing I've ever tasted. So don't come here for the wines there are plenty of other great wineries to try. read more

We were not impressed by our visit to Churon - lukewarm at best. We had a very hard time finding the tasting room, even when asking for help (from someone who was clearly not interested in answering questions that morning). The tasting room itself was pretty cute, but the wine was only so-so. With so many good wineries in the area, we wouldn't bother going back here. read more

What a terrible experience at Churon winery with one of their staff members! I have never been treated she such disrespect as a paying customer and guest. Not only were we told to move to another patio because we had children with us, we were yelled at and told that Churon wasn't a daycare and she threatened to call the police!!! NEVER will I ever take my children to Churon and I will never go there again!!! I went with my family, group of 12, we each purchased a groupon and the groupon said "5 tastings plus 4 souvenir glasses" for $42, spent a total of $126. I spoke to a male employee and he said the groupon came with tastings and the glass. I planned this outing for my sister's 26th birthday, I came from north hollywood! We got there and the employees serving the wine told my family they ran out of glasses and it's not until I actually asked them that they offered free tastings. I went with my cousin to talk to the manager and she referred us at "your people" segregating is as Hispanics and the majority of people there were white. We simply asked, "please give us what we paid for", "as the consumer, we are entitled to what our groupon said". Doreen proceeded to telling us about how they've run out of glasses, she needs to make it through the week. I proceeded to respectfully demand what I paid for, and I asked her to send me the glasses I paid for. A total of 12! She said she'd only send us 4 because they let everyone else in my group know beforehand about the glass situation. False! They're sending me 4 glasses to my apartment but I want a full refund! I will be contacting Groupon! We will not support people that don't treat their clients like they deserve. Don't come here. They false advertise their deals. read more

My boyfriend and I went here for a wine tasting. They give you 5 coupons to taste any wines they have in stock. The range included sparking wine, white wine, red wine, sherry and port. The Curvee sparkling wine was fantastic. It tastes just like a bottle from the champagne valley in France. We bought a bottle of it. The cab sav was really good if you like a dry, smooth red. Incredibly disappointed with the service. It is our anniversary and we wanted to travel to Temecula and have a romantic getaway. I had gotten an email from travelzoo and there was a Temecula getaway from this particular winery and inn so we purchased It. When I called to book the room, the woman who answered the phone was so incredibly rude. She was moving forward with the reservation and once I told her we had a voucher from travelzoo the whole mood changed. She became extremely brass and condescending and proceeded to tell us there were no rooms available only suites. Since It was our anniversary and the dates were important I asked what the price of the suites were and said we can gift the voucher to someone else and make a new reservation directly through them. She made me feel as though I was cheap and couldn't afford the suite and said in a very condescending tone that It would be MUCH more than the price of the travelzoo deal. On top of that, every time I tried to talk she would speak over me and seemed generally annoyed we were trying to book the reservation. No customer service what so ever and we hadn't even stayed there yet. I ended up cancelling the trip through travelzoo who apologized on behalf of the Inn. We called South Coast Winery and Spa and booked a room there. Would rather give our money and pay twice as much to a place that has class and service. read more

Loved it! My BF surprised me with a weekend at their Bed and Breakfast and we had an awesome time. The whole experience was very memorable. Love this place and the wine. Very quaint and definitely has the feeling of a French chateau. The staff was very friendly and informative. They also have a great little gift shop. The Chocolate Bliss wine was to die for, as was the sparkling Peach. I also stayed here for 2 nights. The breakfast was delish and the room was great. If you don't know what a B&B is, then don't stay here and go to South Coast down the road. That is as commercial as it gets. Not this place and that's what I loved about it. read more

Although I thought their currently served Cabernet Sauvignon was good, the unruly business ethic of our host was the soul event that lead up to their lose of a $260 sell. Word to the wise, if you are so full of yourself...maybe you shouldn't work with the public. Our host had obviously forgotten why she is there...to sell to the customer...Not belittle them the entire time they are trying to taste. A few wines were good....but save your time and go to any of the other 36 winery all within the area of Temecula. P.S. Their "Golden Nectar" is one of the few white wines I like to drink. In fact, I'm in their wine club just so I can collect the "Golden Nectar" all year long. It's the first spot I hit before I do my wine tour. I just wished the women that work at the wine tasting had better personalities and didn't make us feel as if we were annoying them to do their job. Property is gorgeous. Front staff wonderful. Rooms are great. Love the fireplace and bathroom. Nice to have seperate sinks. Rooms are large. Breakfast was great. Very good omelet, and service. We enjoyed wine tasting hour twice. First night it was great. Service wonderful. Second night was not so great. Service was poor, woman attendant not interested in providing good service. Almost rude to me. Ignored me and poured skimpy tastings. Poured much better tastings for husband. Night before we had great service. Much friendlier and additional recommendations. This woman actually discouraged the purchase of other wines not on menu. Big turn off. Night before, we purchased two bottles which were not on tasting menu due to wonderful service form host on the first night. Service on second night dropped this rating to three stars. read more

My husband and I satayed here on our last anniversary - awesome! I forget which suite we had - but it was the biggest they had available. There was a fire place in the bathroom, living room, and bedroom! I loved it. Breakfast in the morning was delicious - the staff super attentive. The sushi guy on Saturday actually has his own restaurant not too far from Churon - Akamoos Island Sushi. Get to know him and he'll most likely invite you back to the restaurant that night. Horrible Horrible service! My fiance and I called in January to book a reservation for our honeymoon in May. We are now 2 weeks away from our wedding. We called to confirm our reservation yesterday and were told that we were not in the system. I was told by the representative that they were booked and there was nothing that they could do. The rep kept on asking if we were sure that we had booked through them, and of course we were sure. This voucher IS for their inn after all. Unfortunately we had lost our confirmation information, but we still had a call log from the day that we called them. All the rep could do was apologize and then she told me that there was an ex-employee who used to work for them, and that she thinks the person had sabotaged us. I don't even understand why she would tell me that. Just goes to show how unprofessional they are and that there are some serious internal issues occurring. I'd advise you all to stay away. I was put through some serious emotional stress. I couldn't stop crying since I heard the news. My fiance and I even got into a huge arguement because of the whole ordeal. My fiance is in the military and we've scrapped all we could for our wedding. I guess it's our fault for trying to book a deal on a discount off of here; you get what you pay for. My advice to you would be to STAY AWAY from this place. Save yourself the dissappointment. I'm vowing to yelp this message everyday for a full year. read more

I was the maid of honor a wedding at this winery. I hate making complaints which is why it has taken me so long to do so after the wedding, but too many things went wrong for me to not. I have worked at a few different wine bars and have personally worked 5 wedding receptions and a plethora of bachelorette parties. I don't know if it was the result of the main wedding planner person not being there that day. I worked with Abby who I was told is the assistant. She was always very present and helpful. I feel most of the issues I had with the evening was miscommunication or poor planning ahead. Obviously this was not the first wedding held at this location and yet I noticed a serious lack of organization. Being the maid of honor I had spoken with the bride about the big day a lot before hand. We had been told that while we had to cut the noise outside at ten pm we would be allowed to continue the celebration inside somewhere. This was a big issue for us and we discussed it many times to make sure that was the plan and not having our family kicked out right at ten pm and then expected to drive intoxicated to their hotels miles away! Much to my dismay that was exactly what ended up happening! The DJ shut the party down and said have a good night at ten! Nothing about people being able to stay and move the music and noise inside! As a bartender I have learned it is very irresponsible to give people alcohol for hours and then promptly kick them out at closing without even a water or coffee, or offer of a cab ride! Being the large expensive vineyard that you are I assumed you would know this, especially given your location. That was the biggest issue I had with the evening and am the most upset about. The other thing promised by the winery that never happened was a pre-ceremony champagne toast for the bridal parties. Not only did that not happen, but when I tried to get champagne for the bride and brides maids I had to pay for it and send a girl to go get it and enough glasses! There were only two in the Chardonnay suite! No employee showed their face in the suite once before the wedding to see if we needed anything or to deliver the pre-ceremony champagne that was on the itinerary! Since it was on the itinerary I didn't think I would need to make sure it happened! The grass was so wet that people fell over and got their nice dress shoes and clothes muddy. Who waters right before a wedding? The DJ was terrible! He messed up the Grooms dance with his mother. It took him 5 times to get the correct song to play. He kept leaving seconds of air between songs instead of flowing them together. Another speaker was brought out at some point during the reception for some reason even tho it was plenty loud already. That speaker got placed directly behind peoples heads trying to eat and sit at the tables still and an extension cord for it was run right in front of the bar! I tripped on it along with many others. Very dangerous for older people wearing high heels and have been drinking! The stairs were not properly light. I walked into a bush trying to walk around some guests standing on the sidewalk at the top of the stairs and then got muddy because the grass was soaking wet still! The DJ did not announce the cake being cut. I missed that part entirely. Their were no napkins left out for the cake! When we asked for some we were refused three times until the bride and groom, and all the guests, were forced to use the table clothes for gods sake! I didn't even get to eat my dinner! I had two bites, went to grab something for the bride, and when I came back my entire plate was gone. My fiance even told them to leave it! I didn't even get to try the $95 a plate dinner! We were rushed the entire evening! Hurry up and eat because we are going to clear plates whether people are finished or not and take your napkin so you can't use it for cake! There were no plates, forks, or napkins left out for the cake! Which I was lucky to get some of that because it wasn't even passed out! You have employees all over the place and they couldn't wait tables? So after having my food stolen, ran into a bush, missed the cake, and then tripped over the speaker cable trying to make my way to the bar I was informed that you had run out of champagne and it was only 9:30! I was pissed! I had to drive to Papa John's before 11pm so I could get some dinner! I didn't get to spend time with the bride and groom at all after the reception because I had to leave your establishment to find food! That was completely unacceptable. Then we were charged $275 for the hotel room for one night! No mini bar, no extra glasses in the room, nothing. I have never had so many things go wrong at a wedding and I've been to at least 20 in my life. I've never been so over charged and had so many fuck ups to contend with while being rushed the entire evening! My night was ruined along with my ability to socialize with my family from out of state that I haven't seen in years! read more
