Insanely inventive cocktails without $20 prices! The cocktails really push the limits of creativity, many may make you gremace as you mouth the ingredients to yourself. Trust though. Trust the process, trust the folks implementing the process. I loved everything I had here. If cocktails are too fufu 4 u, they have a MASSIVE whiskey selection too, mostly bourbons. The space is small and cozy, making it easier to bond with people. Having had four different cocktails here (and sips of two others) I think this is either my favorite or second favorite cocktail bar ever. And since the other contender went out of business five years ago, this is my favorite one you have the option of actually going to. Vault has a lot of very interesting house cocktails plus a solid list of standards. Environment: The unbecoming entrance on the side of a building was a curious experience but as soon as we walked in, the ambience changed our minds. With a modern and moody vibe, the Vault is a nice late night hangout or date spot. There was only one server and one bartender but both were knowledgeable and friendly. Drinks: We started with the sergeant peppercorn and the phocking gimlet both of which did not disappoint. Sergeant peppercorn was a vodka? Based cocktail with just a hint of spice to balance the sweet notes of the drink. The gimlet had all of floral gin notes that you would expect with an asian twist. We also tried the Pina Pina which had our party in 2 camps. One of us appreciated the savory/sweet take on a pizza and the other thought it was a little too out of the box. Rating: 5/5, overall the creativity at vault was par none - this is a gem of Fayetteville. We will definitely be back to experience the rotating menu and ingenious of the bartender! read more

Best bloody mary in Northwest Arkansas and it's not even close. I'm REALLY particular about my mary beverages, and this one has the right balance of spice, tomato, and alcohol. Bonus - it's part of the downtown Outdoor Refreshment Area, which means that you can get your drink to go and walk about downtown Fayetteville. This is great, especially because 1) Yes, we are in a pandemic and gathering in groups is *thumbs down* and 2) this is a tiny little bar and in non-pandemic times can get really crowded really easily. The bar is right next to a large parking lot (part time paid but doesn't break the bank even during paid hours). Cons: Can be hard to find if you don't know what you're looking for, cocktails are a bit pricier but they're not meant to be chugged. Happy to have them in downtown. read more

Love the Vault. It's a cool space to enjoy delicious cocktails. Arrived here with a friend. There are 3 long tables, the bar, and cushion chairs. There's also a small patio outside. The space seats about 25-30 people. It can be a little confusing to find. The easiest way is to park in the public parking lot (free after 6pm on weeknights) behind the building (#112 W. Center). It's the big lot closest to Frescos restaurant. If you park there, go to your left and wa-la, you'll see patio tables & chairs which are right in front of the outside entrance. My friend and I both ordered the el Diablo. While it sounds devilish, it was pink & very refreshing. I usually don't drink hard liquor but this was delicious, I ordered another! Want to go back & try the other cocktails. The bartenders, Shaun & Charlie, were super nice guys! Very helpful, friendly, & take pride into each drink they make. Great place to grab a drink! Warmly greeted by the bartender (Shaun -not sure of correct spelling :) immediately upon entering this small but beautiful, warm, ACTUAL former VAULT, inviting bar. Sat down at the 2 remaining stools at the bar and were each given a clipboard of the beverage options. The choices are primarily bourbons, whiskey's and rye - however, I do believe that wine and beer are also available (but why ???) I chose the 'happy hour' Old Fashioned and was WOWED ! The best I have ever had. Hubby ordered a High Ball - it was offered both traditionally on the rocks or warmed. He opted for the iced version, but when he let me try it, I'm sure it would have been equally fantastic warm. No food is available (however, Shaun mentioned they do offer pimento cheese, but we were going elsewhere for dinner - so did not try it). Shaun was awesome; he was personable, friendly, answered a ton of questions. 2nd bartender arrived before we left (Nilson) and he was equally terrific. If you find yourself in Fayetteville in search of some very classy adult beverages, you must try this place. We're looking forward to another visit soon ! read more

When we got our bill there was a 30% tax on it, and when we questioned it the waitress, Sam, she said that it was Fayetteville law to charge a 30% Liquor tax. I cannot say enough good things about Vault. I went here four times over a two week stay in March. The cocktails are amazing and the staff is also awesome. The prices were insanely reasonable for the level of cocktail you get- does not only surpass any other place in Fayetteville, but also larger cities (at double the price). This is not even mentioning their awesome happy hour deal. The pimento cheese app is also delicious and Vault has indoor and outdoor seating. read more
