Chuy's is rapidly becoming my favorite place to go to relax and get a little girlfriend time. The place is always clean and relaxing, the staff is always friendly and accommodating, and the food is always hot and delicious. Chuy's is really set up to have a good time quickly, or like my friend and I, to sit down and spend a couple of hours chatting, relaxing, and forgetting about how complicated life can be. We're always giving refills and to go cups with out even asking. When we ask for more chips and the famous ranch dipping sauce (which is absolutely amazeballs), the staff brings out a large bag of chips and several larger containers of the dipping sauce. To me, this is the best because my Dad (96) just LOVES the dipping sauce. Heck, I love the dipping sauce, too. Frankly, the queso is so good I would mainline it into a vein if I could. He makes things happen and it is unremarkable. I am just blown away at how kind he is, he makes you feel like family, he remembers your order and always try to make your visit remarkable. I visited on 1/6/26 and had 2 shrimp tacos ala carte because I get full with the beans. I also treated myself to the virgin strawberry daiquiri which only CARLOS makes correctly because he does not add the lime juice which makes it sooooo tangy and not fruity. Well I was getting ready to leave and decided to pay with the QR code and mentioned to CARLOS i paid. I noticed he went to the register to check and I was wondering why was that his response. He seen the transaction and gave a thumbs up and mentioned to me that the last time I was there the payment did not go through. Now, I know you are wondering WOW THAT IS CRAZY..... I was really impressed that he did not accuse me of STEALING BUT KEPT IS VERY PROFESSIONAL. He could have easily mentioned it as soon as I sat down but he did not. I literally went back into my Wallet apple card and sure as my name is TIFFANY THE DECLINE WAS HUGE, the card was locked and I never looked to see it was not paid. I offered to pay it and he told me he had a manager to clear it out. I don't write many reviews but we had a very unpleasant time here. Our server was arguing with another server right in front of us and interrupted our conversation several times. He yelled at the other server while taking our order to not mess with him and his table. Then we heard them fighting in a side room. It made us all feel very uncomfortable. The food was good. Stopped in to grab some lunch to go. I order two orders of Tacos Al Cabon beef fajita. When I stopped at my wife's work to eat we opened everything up. My wife's order had two strips of Fajita meat and mine had one small strip in each taco. What was waste of $14.00 per order. This is by far the biggest rip off I have ever experienced. With the weather changing, I needed something warm and that was going to help my scratchy throat feel better cause allergies due to crazy weather and the chicken tortilla soup with a side of Spanish rice was just the thing. I decided to sit at the bar even though I wasn't drinking today. I got a cup instead of a bowl and glad cause after snacking on the yummy chips and green sauce, I couldn't even finish the cup. Th meal was fulfilling, delicious and inexpensive. With tip, and I tipped over 40%, I got out of there paying less than $17. I brought my family to Chuy's who were visiting out of town on January 28th. I knew the food would be good, but we also had AMAZING service by Carter. As a matter of fact, he is the best server I ever had. Carter was attentive to a family of five, including children (inquisitive little girls). He recommended good meals try that did not disappoint. Went tonight for our daughter's birthday. It was fantastic. Of course the food was good, never really had a complaint before BUT the SERVICE was absolutely perfect. Mando was our server, and I can admit our table can be needy at times as it was a medium sized group with 2 teenagers to give and idea. He absolutely never forgot anything, everything was amazing, quick fresh etc etc. The manager, Garrett also came over, even helped clear some plates and got us some chips to go. I've always had a good experience here. Food is always consistent, my favorite is the ponchos nachos and the crispy tacos, my husband loves the steak burrito. Service has always been good, they are usually very attentive . The absolute clincher for me is the creamy jalapeño salsa. I always get some to go. (2 stars because the food is still great) Food was amazing as always--this place has never disappointed on the culinary front. We were a party of four and came in excited to enjoy a good meal. Unfortunately, the service turned what should've been a great night into a deeply frustrating and uncomfortable experience. Our server didn't write anything down, so a few of our side sauces were missed. No problem--we let that slide. My drink came out overly sour, so I politely asked for some syrup. The entire meal went by, and the syrup never came. I barely touched the drink and eventually asked for it to be taken off the bill. Still stayed polite, still no attitude. Then came the real issue: as the server cleared dishes, she dropped two full plates right in front of us. One friend got food on their clothes, another got a glass of water spilled all over them. My phone and purse were soaked. Accidents happen, and we didn't raise our voices--we simply asked to speak to the manager. And that's where it went from bad to worse. The manager came over with a tone that was cold, dismissive, and condescending. Not once did she offer a sincere apology. When we asked if something could be comped given the situation, she said she'd take off the drink--which I had already asked to remove earlier. They eventually comped dessert, but it felt like a bare-minimum gesture with zero accountability. There was water and food all over us and our table, and not a single staff member acted like it was a big deal. We left wet, uncomfortable, and completely unheard. It's a shame, because the food really is good. But service and hospitality matter just as much. I truly hope management steps it up, because unless you're lucky with your server, you're rolling the dice on your experience. read more

You can't really go wrong with the Chuy's chain. Solid TexMex on the bland side, but there's a reason it's successful in Texas. Service was friendly, good and quick. All of our orders came out as expected. I had the Chimichanga and added an egg. I didn't feel like the egg added anything, the flavor was lost in the sauce, so save your money on that add on. Chuy's has become a huge disappointment since they removed their crispy Chile Relleno from their menu. 1. Their menu is VERY limited. Not a lot a variety on this new (Post Covid) menu. 2. They are not very responsive to their customers. I have written their old and new (Darden Inc.) Presidents and they have not had the simple courtesy to respond with an email or letter. 3. They do not care if I am displeased with their food, service, menu, or presentation. "You're free to go somewhere else." is their management response. Their Hatch green chile sauce and Jalapeno Ranch dips are both outstanding, however. I'm probably NOT returning, but if someone would address my concerns, I could be persuaded. read more

They have great Tex mex. Service is always good. The atmosphere is fun, there are games in the bar area, unique art on the walls for decor. But the star of the show has to be there margaritas. I have continued to be amazed at the ease of service and quality of food delivered to our cars with the curbside service. Depending on the day or week, I have ordered curbside service online through their website or on the phone with Chuy's and both methods are great. Using the website makes it easier since I can make customizations quickly without having to remember it all and I can prepay. When ordering through the phone, they run out your food, take your card inside, and then run it back out with your receipt. (more work on their end and I feel bad about the running back and forth). If they have a scanner that they bring out to the car now, I don't know about it. I haven't ordered on the phone the last three or four times. The food stays warm enough for the car ride home and even the Chuychanga retains a good crisp to it. They give you an ample amount of chips, along with their red salsa and creamy jalapeno ranch dip. There is a surcharge for packing all of your stuff to go, but since so much goes into it and, now, technically you get the jalapeno sauce for "free" with the packing charge, it all rounds out? The kids love their chicken choice for a kids meal. We so miss the yummy ice cream push pop you get free when you order in, but it would not survive the car ride home. The curbside pickup option is one of the best things about this place. Even before Covid, it made picking up dinner with toddlers and babies in your car so much simpler! It would take me thrice as long to get the kids out, pay and pick up my food and then struggle to get it and the kids back into the car. This has been a lifesaver and a very big reason Chuy's is on my rotation of restaurants to go to for lunch or dinner. read more

We haven't been to Chuy's in years and wanted to go back. We are seated at a dirty table and when asked about it the busser cleaned the seats then used the same rag to clean the table. I asked for it to be done again by someone and they got the same busser and he did the exact same thing. Then manager came over and I nicely explained what happened and he was understanding and had it done correctly. We ordered and when the food arrived, it was so so. Not good. The bartender was the rudest.... She checked on everyone that looked like her except for me and my husband. I spoke to the manager about her horrible service and then she had the nerve to come back with passive-aggressive behavior to tell me if I needed something I could have asked when it was her job to check on me.
