This is new to Katy and y'all need to help me get the word out about these AMAZING tacos, queso, everything! All is fresh and made to order. Ambiance is casual and the service is awesome! Bartender named Jay was so sweet and patient. This Tex Mex is a NEED! Go and try it! Full bar and happy hour! Go now!

    Cost over mucho

I had heard this place a big menu selection, I must have come to the wrong place. They do have a good selection just not what I was looking for. The restaurant is clean and the staff seemed to be very nice. The prices are a little out of line with what you get. I purchased the chip Dip Trio $15.00, it came with queso, guacamole, & salsa , the salsa was about half full on 2-1/2-3" container, the guacamole and the queso maybe had 1/4" of the product in the serving container, but they give you a whole lot of chips, not sure what you're supposed to with the rest of the chips as it takes about a 1/5th of the chips to eat the queso and guacamole. Did I mention kind of skimpy on the sauces for $15.00. I also ordered Cali-Style Steak Taco $6.50, I was thinking Cali style burrito with lots of steak and fixings, well again what I received was a tortilla with a very small amount of steak meat on top, and what mostly seemed to be french fries with a few pieces of meat. I have to say I give it a thumbs down, unless of course you want to give a way your money and leave hungry. Again service people were nice, manager was predisposed trying to impress a couple of ladies other than yelling across the restaurant to a bartender who a bunch of glasses to check them for chips, I was like all the ch ips are on my dip plate, oh not hose chips.

Tested this place out solo for a bite and a beer. The restaurant looked clean and the waitstaff was friendly and attentive. But the food wasn't great. I had their triple dip and chips and the Birria tacos on the recommendation of the bartender. It all was just ok. I didn't leave this place feeling like I'd come back. There's nothing special about it here and if I'm being honest there are much better Mexican places with a tv to watch football and beer. I think this place could survive if they brought something people really wanted and enjoyed.

Since it was my first time here, I ended up ordering 1 chorizo and 1 asada taco, churros, limon aguas, and my friend got the asada taco as well and a hortchata! Since it was super busy (especially on saturday night) it was about a 30 minute wait foe our food but it was well worth it! They hand out free chicharrones and they were super crunchy and a nice snack while we waited for our food. The limon aguas was super refreshing especially in the summer heat and the horchata was really good! We sat at the counter top that overlooks the kitchen. I love that the open kitchen concept so you can see them making your food right in front of you! Everything smelled so good so I was excited for my food. I love that they give radishes, cucumbers, and plenty of limes on the side. I definitely love all of the toppings and the more the better! I tried all of the salsas and the salsa de chile de arbol was by far my favorite! super spicy but had so much flavor. The chorizo was good but a little dry for my liking. I did just want to try it so I can try more than one flavor but I think I would get it again as a breakfast taco with egg instead. The asada was my favorite of the two so much flavor and plenty of meat! I was content with these 2 tacos but I could have definitely eaten more if we didn't order churros as well! The churros came with classic condensed milk and dulce de leche which is just carmelized condensed milk. The churros were crunchy and warm on the outside and had a chewy texture like mochi on the inside! Super yummy and not too sweet! I liked both sauces and would definitely get this again. Overall, I had a great experience and I will be craving the tacos until the next time I can come back! I can't wait to try a lot of their other menu items as well. Definitely recommend!

Family indulged in delicious large portioned and filled to the brim chicken burritos and chicken quesadilla with small condiment sauces with reasonable prices. The tacos and food from all various South American countries. It's insane. Drink: Cheapest margaritas in Houston. Literally. South Americans are the most hospitable culture around. Thank me later.

We were the first customers on a Dec 6th, Saturday morning…read more All of the front end staff was sitting at a table, cracking up to the point where I thought they were diners of the restaurant because of how comfortable they were. And after taking our drink order and bringing our drinks, the friendly waitress went to sit down and play on her cell phone. The problem was we needed napkins. Napkins weren't on the table nor were they self service. Since she was playing on her cell phone, she wasn't doing her table rounds to be available to ask for napkins. Chips and salsa can naturally be messy. All it takes is one little boo-boo with salsa, and it splatters on the table. After what felt like 5 to 10 minutes, she eventually came back around to take our food order, but her lack of attention and behavior had already messed up the customer service experience. The real crime here is the food flavor itself. I ordered the taco mix. This is a simple way to judge the restaurant by its protein flavor. Each street size taco allowed a glimpse into the seasoning and preparation of their food. The El Pastor was lacking flavor. There was only one tiny pineapple tidbit. The Birria taco just has bad seasoning. The Carne Asada that had no sear or color, so it was gray and mushy. Cheese, crema, and avocado cannot make up for meat that doesn't taste good. While the server was friendly, it doesn't make up for the fact that the food itself is bad. And when you think about how tacos are so easy to make if all it involves is seasoning, a protein and cooking it. They're botching up simple cooking techniques and use bad recipes. The street cart concept is certainly fun. We did the churro cart, and it was fun to see the sparkler. The birthday girl liked the music and the churro experience. The Nutella chocolate is too firm so it doesn't really stick to the churro as well. It would be better if they made a Nutella sauce then straight up ultra thick Nutella. The cajeta was a bit sour because it's goat milk, not cows milk. I would prefer a caramel over cajeta. The best dipping sauce was the condensed milk. To their credit, the churros were fresh and piping hot. Still, this isn't the kind of place I would not want to return to for the simple fact that the food was not good. These kinds of dining experiences make you think I'm better off, cooking at home then driving to the restaurant, settling for so so service, paying for mediocre food. I wish restaurants collectively needed to pass some kind of flavor standard or cooking consistency to earn a restaurant license because at this rate mediocre food is being served, and the customer is not the wiser until they sit down and taste it. It also surprises me that these kinds of places can survive for years and years through serving mediocre food. I can't recommend it. I wouldn't return.
