From nibbles to entrees, our go-to selections are the calamari; Mediterranean salad with jumbo shrimp; antipasto; veal caprese; chicken parmigiana; bianco orecchiette; salmon alla limoncello ... Mamma Mia! So good The servers, from pleasant to "whatsamatteryou eh?" Just attentive enough. Another good meal at Ciao Bella. Sat at the bar and had great service from Nick. Cold beers ($6) and good wine (cheap Pinot Grigio for $15). Garlic knots are served immediately and are included but also available for purchase. They are delicious. What a perk when sitting down. Pasta Di Manzo (sirloin chunks in creamy sauce with mushrooms and rigatoni pasta) $25.99 had a great flavor. My criticism would be the beef is too tough but that is me. Still a great dish. The food here is fantabulous! We had the Chicken Formaggio (amazing), Fettuccine Alfredo (excellent), Pasta Al Forno (delicious), Penney alla Vodka (fabulous), and Shrimp Tortellini (spectacular)! We also shared the Bella Bruchetta. That was amazing, too. The service by Kate was simply amazing. She was so very busy, yet didn't forget about thing. She also had a great sense of humor. The ambiance was jumping. It was busy, but everyone seemed to be enjoying their meals. I highly recommend Ciao Bella. They also own Salt and Pepper breakfast spot. With the exception of the hostess the staff was fast, friendly and very professional. The restaurant is clean and nicely decorated. The bar area is a little awkward but the bartender was very nice. We ordered a bottle of the house wine and enjoyed it. Our food was good maybe a little under seasoned, but still better than a lot of local restaurants. read more

So this was my first time dining at Ciao Bella, I've heard amazing reviews from my wife and daughter, so we met up with some friends for dinner last night, we decided on 7:30 pm dinner service because they are typically pretty full around 6pm dinner service, as soon as we arrived we were greeted by a extremely friendly staff, seated immediately and ordered calamari for an appetizer, it arrived pretty quick, and was delicious, I had the baked lasagna which was excellent, large portions, Jennifer our server was amazing very attentive and polite, after dinner she treated us to a large slice of tiramisu which was very good, overall it was a great experience everything just clicked. read more

Absolutely loved Ciao Bella! We were visiting Prescott and decided to give it a try, and it ended up being one of those little gems you're really happy you found. I ordered the Bella Pizza and my wife got the Fettuccine Carbonara, and both were fantastic! The atmosphere was a lot of fun too. The decorations really added to the experience, and hearing the classic Italian music playing in the background made us smile the whole time. It felt cozy, welcoming, and a little bit like stepping into a small family-run spot in Italy. If you're in Prescott and craving Italian food, I'd definitely recommend Ciao Bella. The Logistics: * Timing: We took a gamble and walked in at 5:00 PM on a Saturday without a reservation. We were quoted a 20-minute wait but were pleasantly surprised to get seated in just 10 minutes. * Service: Despite the packed house, the service was seamless. It felt like a true team effort--everyone was helping clear tables, run food, and ensure glasses were full. The Food: Come hungry or plan to take a box home--the portions here are massive and value-driven. * Garlic Knots: These land on the table complimentary, and they are dangerous. Warm, buttery, and tasty. A perfect start. * Fried Zucchini (4.5/5): Do not skip this starter. It might be the best fresh fried zucchini I've ever had. Light, crispy, and incredibly fresh. * Chicken Formaggio (4.75/5): This is a staple on their printed menu, and for good reason. I ordered mine without mushrooms (personal preference), and the kitchen executed it perfectly. The creamy sauce wasn't too heavy, and the addition of artichokes and asparagus gave it a unique texture I loved. It was easily enough food for lunch the next day. * Lasagna (4.25/5): I am notoriously picky about lasagna (mostly because I make a great one at home), but this one is up there. It was our last day working together, and two colleagues and I decided to have dinner one last time before parting ways. This restaurant was nearby, had a 4-star rating, and who doesn't enjoy pasta? Unfortunately, the service completely overshadowed the experience. A zero-star rating wasn't an option, so the one star is solely for the service. I rarely call out staff by name, but this experience warrants it. Anna, our server, was extremely rude, dismissive, and unprofessional from the start. First, one colleague initially ordered a Sprite but shortly after requested water with lemon instead. Anna rolled her eyes, aggressively scratched it off her order pad, and clearly displayed her disapproval over a simple change. Next, my other colleague--who is pescatarian--politely asked if the salmon entrée contained any bacon or meat products. Anna responded by pointing at the menu, rolling her eyes, and saying, "Does it say it has bacon bits?" The tone and body language were disrespectful and unnecessary. At that moment, we were all shocked by the lack of professionalism and basic customer service. That should have been our cue to leave and dine elsewhere, but unfortunately, we stayed. I have eaten at ciao Bella before in the past and I wasn't impressed. I haven't been back in awhile, mainly because of the hours. I was able to go the other night and I heard the server telling another customer about the special. It sounded good so I also asked about it. The server showed me a picture and I was sold. The special was so good I would have licked my plate if the place wasn't packed with people. I still dream about this dinner. I wish it was a regular menu items. The service was great and they also gave us extra bread and sauce to go with the left overs. I don't usually stray from the regular menu items I know I like but I would suggest trying the specials they have once in awhile like I did. You just might be impressed. read more

OK, I have to admit. I was a bit disappointed. I heard good things about this establishment. The chicken Marcella was just OK. My chicken dish, the sauce didn't have a lot of flavor and was very thin like soup. My chicken was cooked perfect, had some asparagus, artichoke hearts and mushrooms. I tasted the lasagna, kind of like mush and my girlfriend ordered the pasta that had shrimp. Mostly pasta not too much shrimp. My favorite of the night was brussels sprouts. People lined up waiting to get in. That was a good sign. The wait wasn't as long at all. They said about 25 minutes, it was about 14. We were greeted with garlic knots that were delish and I do not eat bread but they were looking too good not to try. Service was good. They did forget my meal but I wasn't that hungry so it didn't upset me too much. Food was perfect. Everyone loved that what they ordered. I had the Fettuccine Mediterranean - I swapped out the fettuccine for GF pasta. I do have a suggestion / no feta cheese. I feel it clashed with the pesto. A little bit of an odd combination - I get it but doesn't work. I ate around it and honestly it was good. The cannoli!!!! The best cannoli this Brooklyn Italian girl has found out here in AZ. My husband didn't even want to try it since we have hadn't had a good one since moving here and he ended up finishing it. The web said the place opened at 4 but it was already packed and as we looked around, noticed that many people were already well into their meal. Asked the waitress what time they opened. She affirmed they had opened less than an hour before! We took that as a sign Ciao Bella was a local gem of a restaurant. Turned out it is. Service food and beverage was excellent across the board. The food was excellent. We enjoyed the garlic knots that came out fresh as soon as we sat down. The fried mozzarella was excellent with a cheese pull influencers chase but rarely find. The biggest draw for us was there were gluten free options for the celiac in our group and they didn't feel like an afterthought. We have now been to Ciao Bella twice since moving to Prescott, and so far it has been our favorite Italian restaurant! I first want to say that we had the same waitress both times and she remembered us even though they were so busy the first time we came. I think that's a great sign of the wait staff! The food comes and fresh and has so much flavor. The garlic knots that come with your meal are done so well. Each meal we have gotten has been good. There hasn't been one complaint!
