    Veal amazing!

The best thing about the whole night was the amazing service from Victor, he was on it all night long. I thought I ordered a red wine. He thought I ordered a sangria no problem red wine coming. Big smile great, the food as always is fantastic. Tonight, no oysters but we found other things that pleased us just as much was a fun pre-New Year's Eve dinner as always our local Italian spot never lets us down. Gluten free house special
    Jessi E.

My boyfriend's cousin hosted her birthday with her entire family (the poor staff, they did great). The food was really delicious! And automatic points for having gluten free options as an Italian restaurant. I ordered the house special that came with a bunch of seafood types and a vodka sauce, which was absolutely amazing. The food took quite a while to get to the table, which is COMPLETELY understandable from the sheer volume of people and the size of the restaurant and staffing. The only negative was, when the food came out - there were no scallops in all of the dishes for everyone who ordered the house special (there was about five of us and no one had scallops in the meal - which we were told it would have).

    Gnocchi pesto, ravioli, manicotti

This Italian restaurant is kinda in a weird spot off the street that doesn't have the best parking. There's some dirt spots to pull into, if there's room and there's a little alley that supposedly has some spots as well. Just a note, it wasn't obvious to me, and I struggled a bit to find a spot after driving right past it. The menu is pretty extensive with quite a lot of different entrees, pasta dishes, seafood, and pizza. The dish I ordered was called Bandiera Italiana which was a sampler of 3 different pastas. A gnocchi, ravioli, and manicotti. Every item was extremely mediocre. The sauce on each pasta had minimal flavor. The gnocchi were too uniform in shape to be homemade, probably out of a package. The ravioli was bland all the way through to the cheese inside. The manicotti had a dried out ground meet stuffed inside, again not much flavor or seasoning. I doubt any of the pasta or sauces are actually homemade. Would not recommend ordering this plate at all. We sat outside and had a nice view of the water. Patio is pleasant with heaters. The inside of the restaurant has a warm vibe. There are a few different locations, so this place must be doing alright. With the extensive menu coming out of the kitchen, I imagine a lot of the dishes are going to end up with pre-prepped ingredients which is unfortunate. Maybe my dish of choice was a poor option to try. If I ever return I might try the chefs special for something more likely to be freshly prepared.

I came here with not only my wife, but another couple as well. We all enjoyed food and drinks ranging from martinis to old fashions. All of us decided to try different plates along with a couple appetizers, and every single thing was delicious. There was not a single complaint amongst us beyond not having enough room to eat more. Our server was super accommodating and informative with the menu selection and drink options. Definitely went above and beyond with us. One of the best things was the seating options along with the location of the restaurant. The ambience being a slightly chill, relaxed, family environment. I definitely will be back and cannot recommend this place enough. Looking forward to seeing what I get next.

    Cannellini- a favorite

We went for a late lunch/early dinner on a Friday at 3:00. It wasn't very busy. The service was excellent. My husband had redress the lobster & shrimp ravioli and I ordered the cannelloni- both were so delicious and generous portions. The complementary bread with bruschetta sauce were good also. We ordered dessert (crème brûlée & gelato that were so good. The view is excellent of the ocean. Parking can be challenging, but there was some across the street. This is a gem for an Italian restaurant near the coast . One of our favorite restaurants.

This restaurant is always a wonderful experience! Great customer service and you could never go wrong with any item here. All of the food is amazing and so are the people!!! Don't miss this vibe

There was lots of parking on the other side of the street and we were greeted by a friendly waitress. I tried the gelato. Vanilla gelato was creamy with a rich, sweet vanilla flavor. I will miss our monthly adventures to places I have not visited before.

Buona Forchetta came highly recommended by a friend who raves about their pizzas. After trying it…read moremyself, I'd rate it closer to a 3.5 out of 5. It's a solid neighborhood restaurant, but it didn't quite live up to the hype for me. We ordered two pizzas: a gluten-free Margherita and a regular Margherita. One thing that immediately stood out was how similar the two crusts tasted. Both had a comparable level of chewiness, which was surprising given that one was gluten-free. The gluten-free crust lacked some of the wheaty, earthy flavor you'd expect from a traditional dough, but overall I was genuinely impressed by its texture and quality. It's one of the better gluten-free pizza crusts I've had. The pizzas are Neapolitan-style and generally enjoyable. The dough itself is well made, though I would have preferred a bit more chew and structure to take it to the next level. My biggest criticisms are the sauce and cheese. The sauce was applied too sparingly, leaving the pizza without enough moisture or cohesion to tie the different components together. More importantly, the flavor felt one-dimensional--mostly salty, without the rich tomato sweetness, depth, and complexity that make a great Neapolitan pizza memorable. But I want to be fair. Judging from the photos posted by other Yelpers, some of the pizzas shown have a good amount of pizza sauce. I need to try the food again and update my review. As for the cheese, the fresh mozzarella on the Margherita didn't quite meet expectations. The slices had a firmer texture than I typically associate with fresh mozzarella and lacked some of the soft, creamy moisture that helps create that signature melt. The flavor was also milder than expected; instead of delivering a pronounced milky richness, it tasted somewhat diluted. This may be a minor criticism, but on a simple pizza like a Margherita, where every ingredient is on display, these details become much more noticeable. Overall, Buona Forchetta serves a respectable Neapolitan-style pizza, and its gluten-free option is particularly impressive. However, the underwhelming sauce and mozzarella kept the pizzas from reaching the level I was expecting given the enthusiastic recommendations.
