I made a reservation to celebrate my stepdad for Father's Day since he's a big fan of Dunedin when he worked in North Park. The service by Luis was great! I ordered the lamb smash with sweet potato fries and we shared a golden beet salad. Everything tasted delicious and the portion sizing was perfect. The mint dressing was such an interesting piece of the lamb smash burger but so tasty. The views were stunning and could not have been a better dining experience!

Hummus

We visited on a Saturday around noon, and the first challenge was parking. Finding a spot in the area was surprisingly difficult, so give yourself extra time if you're coming during peak hours. The restaurant itself was clean, bright, and well maintained. We were seated near the bar area, which had a nice atmosphere. Food wise, there were definitely some highlights. The hummus was excellent. Fresh, creamy, flavorful, and easily one of the best things we ordered. The burger was also very good. High quality ingredients, cooked properly, and packed with flavor. The breakfast plate was mixed. The sausage and the rest of the plate were enjoyable, but the biscuit was extremely hard and difficult to eat. The cocktails were pleasant and enjoyable, though not particularly memorable. Unfortunately, the service lacked attention to detail throughout the meal. Our hummus arrived before any utensils or napkins were brought to the table. After joking with our server that we must have forgotten our silverware at home, they apologized and eventually brought everything over. The iced tea took multiple requests before it arrived. We had to ask three separate times, and once it finally came, there was no sweetener. We then had to ask again for sweetener before being able to enjoy the drink. None of these issues were major on their own, but together they created a service experience that felt disorganized and inattentive. Overall, the food was good enough that I can understand why people like this place, especially the hummus and burger. However, the service needs improvement, particularly when it comes to paying attention to basic details and responding to requests in a timely manner. I would consider giving it another chance, but mainly because of the food rather than the service.

Double Lamb burger, and fries 6-2026 Queensland Del mar

The smash Lamberger was very good and big enough to split. The service was also very good. The ambience is windy so they have blankets to cover up. The reason why we gave it only four stars is because we asked for coffee which is five bucks a cup and they gave us an espresso because they weren't making coffee today and it was very bitter and I like black coffee, but not that bitter.

Excellent experience at this new Queenstown as usual with all of the e restaurants of this chain. What a nice add to Del Mar! That corner has changed dramatically and I can only see tons of people enjoying food and ambiance there. I love their lamb burger and it was the same flavor and moist and other Queenstowns. Fries were perfect too. Server was adorable and fast. Light is very mellow creating a peaceful atmosphere. Separated there is a bar area where the restrooms are located. They have blankets in case you have to wait outside to get a spot. I am loving it.

Burger and steak fries were delicious. Service was good except the coffee was bitter. I had to put cream in it. Ambience was beautifully decorated. I loved the colors . The music was too loud at times. They have only been open 4 weeks.

This restaurant is beautiful. The food was amazing. John and Jaime were super friendly and knowledgeable about the menu and the cocktails. John made me a reposado tequila espresso martini and Jaime made me the kelvin heights both were really yummy. I ordered the shrimp and grits and it was the best grits I ever had. The shrimp were seasoned to perfection and had a little spice to them. My only note is I wish It came with 2 poached eggs and not one but I ended up ordering an extra side. Can't wait to come back !!!

The ambiance and food were excellent. We liked the curry flavor of the vegetable pie, and being able to swap the steak fries for sweet potato fries. The beet salad had minty undertones and was also delicious.

We got the beet salad, the NZ Sea Bass and I got the lamb smash. The lamb smash was a lot of burger . Very moist. Looking around there was so much good food people were ordering. Our server was Ivan and he's absolutely amazing. He was not only attentive to us but it appears to be really persona to all the tables.

Best espresso martini I've had and the lamb burger was o juicy. The decor inside is beautiful.

Pure heaven

Yum yum!! We went last night without reservations and were seated right away! Our server was super nice and we ordered everything he recommended. I had the sea bass with risotto and it was amazing! He said we could not leave without trying the chocolate chip cookie dessert...I was SO full...but thankfully we listened to him!! IT'S PURE HEAVEN!!! I am currently drooling just thinking of it! Will definitely be back!!

We sat at the bar and had a fantastic time chatting with Nick. He was so friendly and also a fantastic bartender. Gave us lots of recs for San Diego while we were in town. The espresso martinis he made were delicious as well. I think the restaurant is new and is so cute and clean (side note, the wallpaper in the bathroom is so fun I loved it!!!) To eat we ordered the Mezze platter, the crispy Spanish octopus, the snapper ceviche, and the empanadas. We really enjoyed it all. I think we both agreed the octopus was our favorite. If you know me or my reviews, we get octopus every restaurant we go to where it's on the menu. This was the first time we got the more than just the tentacles. I think it was the head as well? It was delicious and so different and tasted great. The dish was really crispy, and the sauce it came with was perfectly paired. My bf didn't like the ceviche as much as I did but I really enjoyed it. It was acidic/limey. I enjoyed it but he said it was okay/ too sour... to each their own! All in all, really enjoyed this restaurant. Would love to come back here, unfortunately we are back in FL, but if we come back to the area we will be back!

The manager, Andrea, along with Tara, took amazing care of me and my friends. They were attentive without being overbearing, super friendly, and made us feel genuinely welcome the whole time, which is something you don't always get. I ordered an Aperol Spritz, (if you ever ordered, please get it with campari. we also got a margarita, both were perfectly made. The spritz was refreshing and well-balanced, and the margarita was just as good, not too sweet and really smooth. Definitely a great start to the night. The food was just as impressive. Everything came out surprisingly fast, especially considering how good it was. You can tell there's real attention to quality and flavor. The ambiance is another highlight. It has this relaxed, chill vibe but still feels put together and a little bit "cute" in the best way. It's the kind of place that works perfectly whether you're going on a date, catching up with friends, or just want a nice casual dinner without it feeling basic. Overall, great service, delicious food, quick turnaround, and a really enjoyable atmosphere. I'll definitely be coming back

I had to remind the waitress I hadn't gotten my drink and had to ask for the check at the end. The food was just okay. I got the Hot Chick chicken sandwich and my friend got the classic burger and we split them. Neither had much flavor, which really surprised me with the chicken sandwich as it's supposed to be Cajun spiced. We both paid the extra $4 to change the fries to truffle fries. That had the most flavor of anything.

Consistently excellent…read more The happy-hour here is special. Chill, half outdoor, with some creative menu variety and solid drinks. The grilled artichoke was popular, but it's not going to fill anyone up. I'd get it again.. The steakhouse dinner brings some fancy aged steaks, with a traditional wood-grilled char and smoke. It's really flavorful steak, and you'd be missing out if you didn't go a little feral on the bone. I find they tend to cook a bit further than other steakhouses, with a medium-rare NY Strip looking well into a Medium. It might be the aging or the fire-grill, but there was no pink left in there, and the ends were pretty dry. Look, I'm never going to kick this off my plate, but maybe order much less cooked than you would at Ruth's, okay? The sides are really nice, fresh, hot, but Small. If you're coming in hungry, they're only going to serve two as a side. There is no baked potato, but their gratin is rich with truffle and flavor. Worthy of the steak. Shrimp Scampi: 3 shrimp ($19). Baked oysters: 5 shells. All odd numbers? If you come here expecting to share equally with two people, prepare for battle. The dessert banana-foster cheesecake was terrific.. 5/5, easily enough for two. Service is impeccable, well-coordinated, with perfect timing. Table settings are uniquely precise, and smiles all around -- nobody seemed hurried, flustered or understaffed. Chill and steak.

Lively bar area. Wines by the glass from $17-$43. Local draft beers. Expensive wine list. The cheapest white is $60 a bottle for an Albarino from California, $72 for a Santa Barbara Pinot Noir, and then up to sell several over $200 and $300. The Dominus, from Napa, is $620. We brought our own wines; corkage is $35. Service is among the best we've experienced in the county. This included the handling of our two older wines and great busing service throughout the dinner, with water refills and well-orchestrated clearing of the plates. Somewhat dark, noisy interior, outdoor patio for casual dining and happy hour fun, watching the colorful crowds passing by on this busy section of Solana Beach.

We were looking for a fun evening to bring in the Christmas spirit post Thanksgiving and I saw this advertised concert on the website that I thought our daughter would really enjoy. I went ahead and purchased our tickets which were very reasonable for a show. I love that Belly Up has its own website so people can still afford to attend their shows. We saw Grammy nominated and Father of Contemporary Jazz David Benoit perform all the Peanuts Christmas songs from A Charlie Brown Christmas. WOW! What a terrific show! We sat on the main floor right up close to the stage and we all had such a good time especially our daughter as it was a surprise show for her. The layout is perfect with lots of open space, a bar area, dance floor and a second level. It is quite large inside but you cannot see that from the outside. Acoustics are perfect and David Benoit is still the master of the piano. He had a guest vocalist Courtney Fortune which added to the evening performance. Parking is about the only challenge so we made sure to arrive extra early and grabbed a spot right out front. Also parking was free! I definitely recommend this venue for good service and great music.

I was apprehensive about the tangerine in it at first, but it brought such a delicious sweet flavor to the tostada, literally devoured it so fast lol 20/10! The bone marrow quesadillas were good. The bone marrow was juicy, melt in your mouth flavor! I like to add a squeeze of lime on the marrow as well, tastes so good that way. The quesadilla itself was okay, tbh I could've done without it as it wasn't anything amazing. The bulgogi burger is on their monthly special menu! It's listed as sliders but when we came, our server informed us they only have it as a regular burger for the time being which wasn't an issue for us! It was delicious & filled with so much flavor! She told me the waiter Omar told her that the girl with the spots in her skin (me) left without paying on May 14th when we were celebrating her birthday and that he was informing her just to let me know that probably they won't let me enter in the restaurant anymore. Well, this is absolutely ridiculous, so NOT true and so insulting. We were celebrating the birthday of that precise friend that told me this and another friend and I told the waiter Alejandro F that we will pay separately for our consumptions and whatever my friend ordered and then whoever was coming to the party later on will pay in whatever way they want. So we clarified we were going to pay separately and then I had to leave early and told Alejandro that my friend will pay for us as we informed to start with. Later that night I asked my friend what was my part and paid her my part. End of story. Now, not only they accuse me but when I talked to the manager over the phone (Omar put me in touch with him) this manager told me he was told and was not accusing me but the group. Well, manager, so your math, I showed the ticket that my friend sent me with the portion we paid and you should train your staff to make sure all the money due is paid at the end of the dinner and not false accusing someone a month later. I have never been so embarrassed in my life and apparently there were $80 missing which is anyways a ridiculous amount considering the many people with have been mentioning this place to and the good word we have put about the music and cozy ambiance. This is not the way to treat customers. No apologies, no maybe is OUR misunderstanding due to OUR bad management and our inabilility to do the math.
