I booked an appointment online Tuesday because I was unhappy with my current nail salon and needed a change. Upon walking in I was impressed by the decor and color selection. A gentleman was called (I believe it was Phillip?) to come and do my pedicure and fill. Started out well, pedicure was just alright. No worries it's not all day sandal weather yet. My fill started out good until the filing started. Felt the first cut of the drill and was a tad upset, but it happens. Few more nails down, another cut then another. He asked me "Don't you feel I cut you?" I replied oh yes I do. But again, it happens... not that often, but still happens. I was angry at this point and just wanted this done & over. I was on a tight schedule so I got up and paid when he was finally done. I got home and noticed that all my nails were crooked and not the same length. Ok, out came my file to fix so I can get through my vacation and have them redone when I get back. I also noticed that there was an area of my right thumb that the acrylic was left near my cuticle and my own nail was separating from the acrylic on the tip corner. This kept catching on everything. I tried to fix this, but was unable. Friday morning the entire corner of my nail broke. I went in after I got off work and 3 employees were busy and 3 were not. The gentleman who did my nails was there, doing a pedicure. He got up when he saw me and I explained the issue. He excused himself from his client to sit me down. I explained to him the broken nail, the extra acrylic and the uneven nails. I assumed he would address all issues. He filed the polish off my thumb nail and I asked if he was going to file the nail shorter and he said yes. I said well if you are going to do that then all the others needed to be filed the same length. He then said, I round the corners. I'm think ok, I can deal with all rounded corners. He rounded ONE corner and then started to paint my nail. Unevenly, with old polish still in it and did not let it cure under the UV long enough. I am too angry yo try and be rational and RE-EXPLAIN what I wanted done. So I left before I said or did anything. So now I'm left with hideous nails that I have to figure out how to fix in less than 24 hours before I leave on vacation. NEVER going back is an understatement. read more

I recently visited this nail salon in search of a new nail tech after my regular one moved locations. I called last week and spoke with a woman who quoted me $40 for an acrylic fill. To be sure, I called again the morning of my appointment and spoke with a gentleman who confirmed the same price $40. When I arrived and finished my appointment, I was surprised when the nail tech told me the total was $50. I let her know I'd been quoted $40 twice over the phone, and she said the extra charge was because my nails were "too long" and needed to be cut down. My nails were medium length at best, and all she did was file off the tiniest bit (what had grown out) not a full cut or reshape. On top of that, the polish used was dry and left a blotchy finish. I honestly wasn't expecting perfection at a $40 price point, but the lack of consistency and transparency was disappointing. What really bothered me is that she only filled the outgrown portion at the top of the nail -- nothing else. So I'm honestly confused about how the length played any role in the price. Don't bother calling to make an appointment, they don't even honor it. We had a 3:30pm appointment for three of us to have a pedicure on a Sunday and waited about 45 minutes to get seen, and that's for one of us to get taken care of. As more nail techs were available, then they started on my friend, and lastly her daughter finally got her pedicure started. I would give zero stars if that was an option. I needed black hard gel for an event this weekend and had to go back a second time the next day due to chipping. They added a tip and glued it on crooked...did not shape or file what I wanted. I called to have to come back a third time one hour after fixing it because of chipping again and he said they can't do black color...I would have to choose another color. ..horrible experience. I am very easy going I rarely complain but this was unprofessional and you can tell the tech just did not care. And they don't do refunds so don't waste your time or money. Very clean and professional establishment. They are upfront about the pricing and costs are super reasonable! They do try and get you to buy up with add ons like gel, designs, nail shaping ($5 extra for anything other than square), but hey that's their job and I guess how they keep things affordable. Kim did my nails and she was sweet and very thorough! They also have almost a full bar of drinks to choose from including cocktails like margaritas, daquiries, and mimosas! Everyone was wearing a mask and there was plexiglass between me and the nail techs. The only reason I didn't give 5 stars is because I felt they could have social distanced the customers a little more, there was only about 10 patrons total, however we were all on the same side and the part of the store across from us was mostly empty. Peter did my pedicure and he did really good. He didn't rush anything and made sure to take out all my callouses. It was honestly the best pedicure I've had and my feet felt amazing after. I had a really bad experience with my manicure. I wanted shellac because my nails are tiny and thin. I know with acrylic or dip nails they have to use the drill to prep the nails. The nail tech kept trying to push dip nails and at that point I felt pressured to get dip. During that time he was going back and forth between helping customers and was rushing my manicure. I'm pretty sure I'll get hang nails from this manicure. They ensured me they had excellent people to preform a good pedicure. The guy Jimmy who did my pedicure first cut my nails way too short. And then the entire time he was cutting my cuticles it was hurting. He also cut me while cutting my cuticles and my toe has been swollen. Also he cut my nails crooked. He tried to say it wasn't their website. So I checked out & I tipped for my service. When I made it to my car I called the number on the website, he answered. It was theirs. He verified their address on the website over the phone. I walked back in & asked him if he could show me their website. He went to google & acted as if he couldn't find it. I clicked it for him. He was forwarded to the same website. After verifying that. He tried to say someone uploaded the coupons to the wrong website & they didn't honor them on weekends. The website said Sept 1-Sept 30. It doesn't specify on specific days. He ultimately refunded me. I will be finding me another nail shop after this experience. I wonder how many other loyal customers he's done this too. First time customer. I walk in. The man behind the counter asked, "May I help you?" I say pedicure please. A lady with a sunflower tattoo on her right arm in a cool Rolling Stones cutoff T-shirt walks up to me and says, "choose color" and waves her finger in the general direction of the color palettes and a wall of nail polishes. She wasn't friendly. I select my color and I sit where she said to sit. I ask her for her opinion on what glitter might match my color. She responds, "I don't know ma'am. You have to choose". By this time I've figured out that she's clearly having a bad morning, since I'm already with my feet in the water and seeing that she's not offering to get the color palette for me, I ask, "would you please get me the colors". Without answering she gets up and gets them. I choose. Turns out they're out of the color I picked so I select another. She still looks to be in a bad mood. She starts the pedicure. I though, ok, as long as she does a good job I will overlook the attitude/bad mood. The last thing I will say is that her "massage" consisted of rubbing lotion on my legs. So very sad. As an afterthought now, she never offered me something to drink although the other customers had their drinks offered by their pedicure person. This whole pedicure experience in general was sad. Service is always good, I was a regular customer even after my nail girl left, the last time I went I got my nails done, dip is my normal service, never have they charged me for removal, as I was going to pay I saw the amount, the same as I usually pay, the girl was about to insert my card then I remembered they sent me a 10% off services coupon, I asked if I could use it she said yes of course, then she asked if I got my nails removed, I said yes she asked my nail tech, then she charged me $5 for nail removal, which the 10% offset that cost, no I really didn't get a discount. Don't send me a 10% off if you don't want to give the discount. I get biweekly fills and pedicures. Each of my last three visits have been wonderful! All of the staff is very kind, patient, and they take their time on your services. The place is updated and very clean. They are very well staffed, so you won't be waiting around. Last night, I happened to walk in at 6:30 (closing time is 7) and they greeted me, quickly began my services, and happily stayed after hours to finish. The owner is wonderful and is adamant on asking each client if they like their nails before they leave. If not, he will go above and beyond to make sure you are satisfied. Went here for a pedicure and got pressured to get a dip manicure, which was a bad decision no ended up with a fungal infection on my finger nails and tie nails. The dip product adhered to the skin around the nails causing the skin to become inflamed and the began to crack. Soaking them off was not fun either. It's been 3 months and I'm still dealing with the damage they did to my nail beds as they grow. I spent the summer unable to do anything else to my nails, hands or feet. read more
