The establishment is very inviting to include the staff, with eye pleasing decor, and offers nonalcoholic and alcoholic beverages, nice touch. During our trip to TX, on the first day my friend went to get her nails done with an acrylic overlay with a price in the amount of $70. The nails initially looked well done but the next day one of the nails had broken from minimal contact. We returned to have her nail fixed and two days later another nail had broken from minimal contact. Understand the cost of goods and services have escalated over the years. However, in consideration of $70 (add extra for tip) the price doesn't match the quality. It would wise to either consider getting better products or not to file down too thin. A customer should be able to enjoy not only the experience but also know their hands are in good hands. read more

The guy taking care of my pedicure said next time I should get an appointment and rushed my pedicure to move onto the next. Let me start this off by saying, I usually am easy to please and not super picky with my nails and even if my nails didn't come out exactly the way I was wanting, I normally don't complain BUT I had to. Me and my mom went to get our nails done for my birthday. We both got pedicures and manicures. $42 for my pedicure which was kind of steep but I wanted to spoil my self. I think my mom got same one but if not it was probably around $50. They finish with my pedicure before they finish with my moms, the nail lady (I forgot her name) sits me down to do my nails to which I brought a reference photo for my idea. She looks at it and says no problem. She glued the acrylics on and then when cutting them she uses scissors I've never seen a nail lady use that before when cutting my nails.... I was a bit worried after looking at how uneven the cuts were. I told her that a few were uneven and crooked. She said it would be fixed when filed to which I was okay with. Then she proceeds to shape them... and they're still crooked and uneven. I say something one more time before she started, she said the powder would change the shape. She seemed kinda annoyed when I would bring these things up which made me feel bad because I NEVER speak up for myself so I chilled out. She took a while to finish, my mom was done before me and she started later than I did. I wasn't in love with the final results and then i noticed that some of the nails were still uneven. Anyways, we pay which by the way was $356 !!!! which in my opinion is way too much for the final product. Anyways, fast forward about two weeks later, my pinky nails started hurting and the pain was unbearable and the finger was sensitive to the touch. I decided to try to take the nail off. I did a soak with both water and acetone... nothing. It was really bothering me, I spent HOURS trying to take it off. Finally I noticed that homegirl glued one of the ends of the nail to my SKIN. I had to cut off some skin with mini scissors to free my nail. Easy to say I probably won't be back because the decorations and inside interior was really pretty BUT the price and product don't match whatsoever. read more

I've been on the look for a nail salon that I could frequent and was near my house. First of all everyone is so nice! Mike (I think that's his name), was so patient with me because I couldn't decide on the color of my nails and also asked kinda last minute to go shorter. At other shops, I could sense if someone would get irritated and start rushing. However, Mike continued to be patient and the quality and attention to detail in his work shows! First visit was today and I'm so grateful for the Devine intervention. Jason was amazing with fixing my botched set from another salon. Tommy gave me THE BEST pedi I have ever had. I didn't get the name of the sweet girl who did a kids pedi but everyone was AMAZING. I live in NB but plan to travel and return for my nails. These guys are the best of the best. This place is cute, nicely decorated, offer so many colors and people seem to be pretty friendly. Men more so than the women. There was 5 girls including myself that came in at the same time. I got the SPA PEDICURE $42. And so did the lady next to me. I was the last they got to and it's ok, I understand people need to eat. But this older man started at least 10 min after the lady next to me and ended way before. It was the same service but faster, sloppier, less attentive, mediocre massage. He couldn't even wrap my whole foot with a towel, he threw a third towel on top to cover them. Didn't like my pedicure. WAX: I debated whether to get my lip waxed. I usually do my own. I showed him with my finger, "lip and unibrow please" I'm going to let my eyebrows grow. this man, waxed my eyebrows! *sigh* so aggravated. whatever. "I said no to eyebrows", "I don't want them thin" He said "no, not thin" ok, he left my right eyebrow's tail thinner! So mad. He left my lip with hair on the corners and doesn't know how to clean the wax off. I'm trying to cool down as I type. read more

I absolutely love this place! I am Vietnamese American and can understand Vietnamese but I never tell the places that I go to that I am until I leave. I visit a lot of different places to get my nails done but never go back to them because 1. I am picky and 2. I can understand what the workers are talking about -which is sometimes negative and makes me feel uncomfortable- however this place was phenomenal and filled with all good vibes from everyone!! The inside was gorgeous and aesthetically pleasing and the staff were all so nice and welcoming. Peter was the one who did my nails and they turned out beautiful - he was funny, fast and very gentle (he was always making sure I was okay and comfortable). Super nice environment but very mediocre work for the price. Seems like all of their employees are not trained. I got a polish change on my toes, the tech didn't even paint my entire toenail. My sister got a polish change on her toes as well and her big toe nail is smudged on one side of the nail due to the brush strokes. My niece's nails were painted as well and her nails had lumps on it and her thumb nail had a hair on her nail that was stuck in the paint. We all got shellac and it was not worth it. read more

Had been wanting to try this place out. The pink drew us in. However, the service will not bring us back! The water was cold and the massage was nothing. I did like the polish color. The nail artist working on my daughters hands did an awful job. She had a set and showed a picture of what she wanted. Acrylic all under the nails, uneven, the artwork (I won't picky about, she tried) should resemble clouds but do not. Spent a lot of money for ugly nails. This place might be good for clients who get acrylics, but not so much for those of us with natural nails. My pedicure was okay, but the manicure was very rushed and the tech never even touched my cuticles- which were in desperate need of attention. I'll stick with my regular nail place in Schertz. read more

I have nothing on my toes but they wanted to use the dremel to "file off the clear polish" lol $37 for a deluxe pedicure is reasonable but I question the "salon treatment " the salon is clean and appears sanitary. Walked in and selected my nail dip color and shellac for my toes. Was helped by a young man who glued on my tips (thumbs only). I was then asked to move to the pedicure chair to start the shellac. A differs young man began working on my feet. He was doing an awful job. I asked him if he could remove the shellac that was all the way around on my skin. He went and got a wood stick and jammed it on the side of my toe. I immediately told him that it hurt. I was frustrated and asked to just remove the shellac so I could leave. He then began drilling off the shellac and burned my toe. I screamed, gathered my things and walked out. Never again! The young man at the front desk was very nice but that isn't enough for me to leave good feedback. If I could leave no stars, I would. Don't go to this place. Go to Nails Lounge.
