My wife and I enjoy Cicis. As seniors, we get free or discounted soft drinks. All you have to do is ask. The Hurst location is one of our favorites. It's well run, clean and has a staff that is very friendly and willing to please their guests. Anytime we're in the area, and if we're hungry, we stop in. They also keep their buffet wI'll stocked with a variety of pizzas. This visit was worthy of a 5-star review. We were greeted with a smile when we arrived and asked if there was anything special we'd like them to prepare for us. They're also so accommodating anytime we've stopped in. This evening, the salad bar was an array of bright colors. fresh and crisp veggies. There was a nice assortment of pies on the buffet. I never lacked for anything. Today, I stopped in for a free promo that I had on the app for my birthday. Unfortunately, the cashier was having a hard time getting the promotion to process, so he called the manager to assist. I was so disappointed that the manager insinuated that I had used the promotion off of my app already. He then told me that there would probably be an issue if I tried to use it again. I'm assuming he just didn't ring the transaction up. It made me feel like I'm not a valued customer here. Didn't eat much of what I typically would have wanted, because it bothered me that much. What happened to Cici's??? We bought 2 large pizzas and the cheesy garlic bread for takeout. Yuck! All of it was poorly cooked, the cheesy bread was missing fully 1/3 of coverage by cheese, the dough on all 3 was half raw and greasy without the associated flavor. It's been a few months since we bought a meal there but it was more expensive this time and had no flavor, just greasy raw dough. We forced ourselves to eat a couple slices each but the next day the rest went in the trash (and we LOVE pizza so it never goes to waste). I don't care what people say I love Cici's. Their pepperoni Jalapeño pizza is the bomb. This location is okay, and its a good place to bring kids. They can be messy and loud. I wish there was more variety of pizzas at this particular location. It seemed like they only had like three types of pizza out. Also some of the trays were a little dirty. This location has come in clutch for two reasons: it satisfies my pregnant wife's cravings and they are a model for how a restaurant should be run during COVID-19. You're probably thinking, "Dude, it's CiCis." I'd be the same as you until I dined in too. This place is CLEAN. Tables spotless, plates bussed right away, and then wiped down for the next customer. The food is FRESH. Salad is always cool and crisp; Pizza hot and ready. Honestly, the food here goes well beyond anything I've had at any other CiCis. Finally, the service is always on point. Their team serves the food from the buffet to you because they understand the seriousness of the pandemic. Shoutout to their employee Kim as well. When you go as often as we've been going the last 2 months, you may start to feel embarrassed. Kim always greets us with a smile and prepares my wife's favorite pizza as soon as we walk in. This location would get 5 stars if it were just based on customer service! From the manager down to the bus boy, everyone was so kind, accommodating and nice! Very clean place, the food is constantly rotated and hot! The macaroni pizza and ham/pineapple was my favorite! Of course this is a CiCis so it's not going to be amazing food- the lettuce, radishes and cucumbers in the salad bar we're not very fresh, it was hard to pick through the lettuce. I was also disappointed that there was no apple cinnamon pizza. I saw pictures on their yelp reviews that had it so it was literally the main reason why I came to this location. Last couple times we've been here I wonder why we come. They just started charging for 1 year olds. This time around I only asked for a kids drink & got charged for all of us to have drinks. Today during early dinner rush they dang near ran out of everything with nothing really prepped to put out to replace so maybe 3 pizzas, 1-2 desserts & the salad bar. Which I accidentally got an old smooshed tomato in my salad killing my need to eat once they put more food out. Teenage staff was friendly enough, joking with customers about lack of pizza out. Explaining that they thought that it was slowing down then a rush of large families/groups of 4 or more came in. Been here a good 20 mins and our custom order just came out because stocking the buffet became priority. I'm going to start making at least my daughter go to the local owned pizza buffet ... Very happy to walk in and dine in today. Everything is available in a very safe manner. The open tables are cleaned right away, constantly. The main difference is that they put the salad or slices in your plate, so only one person touches the pie / pizza server, instead of everybody. All the regular items are available, and you can also ask for a specific pizza. The place was not crowded, so social distancing was easy too, and tables were marked off, per the state's recommendation. The whole staff was extremely friendly and attentive. Staff is ok but what they lack in customer service the manager Dylan Blevins more than makes up for. He greets everyone always thanks people for coming in, interacts with the customers as well as make sure the store is running smoothly. The pizza is good but the hot wings are by far my favorite. Well, when it comes to pizza, we all know Cici's doesn't have the best pizza in the world, but when it comes to $4.99 buffets WHO CARES! haha Cici's is just one of those places you go to when you are broke and ready to pig out. This location is fairly new, they relocated from 121 and Precinct Ln to this location and in my opinion it was a huge improvement. Even though this place is much smaller, the service got friendlier and the clientele changed a bit too. I kid you not! In their previous location it was a running joke between my husband and I that I always had to see someone's butt crack. I don't know why, no matter where you were sitting someone's crack was smiling at you, it was pretty gross. So far in the new location: -Nicer staff -Cleaner -Nicer sitting areas -Butt crack free We usually order a specialty pizza because we are vegetarians and they are always super fast and nice. My 5 star review does not mean that CiCi's in general is a five star restaurant. It means that as far as CiCi's go...this location is stellar. This location is always clean and well organized. The food comes out quickly and the staff seems to keep up. It tastes consistent. I enjoy the soup and the desserts best, and the spinach pizza. My biggest compliment goes to the service. I had my daughter's sixth birthday party here and everything was perfect. They gave us free drinks and made sure we were constantly checked on, which was amazing since they had no obligation to treat us that way. The manager was so friendly and kind, and we had a blast. Was looking for something that I could sit at and kill an hour or so while waiting for service on a console. There were huge lines even at the fast food joints because of what appeared to be an event at the athletic center across the street. CiCis had no line and was comparatively empty, so decision made. Got there right after 1100, and right before we left they got super crowded. I guess everyone else got the same idea. Restaurant was clean and spacious. Definitely an improvement on other locations. Food was fresh and refills to the buffet were happening before anything went bad. One issue was that one of the table topper limited time options was not there. I asked if they had one down and was told no but they would put one in. Right before leaving it had been clearly long enough to make one but it was still not there. Asked a manager who said he could make one, but then looked under the buffet line and realized someone had put it on the shelf down there without telling me or anyone else. Ended up getting some before leaving, but just as easily could have walked out twice without it. read more

This Hurst Texas unit could take a few lessons in food product sourcing and preparation from the Cici's on Maize Rd in Wichita Ks. The Kansas apple pizza was pure taste and texture perfection. I can't believe I said that, but it is true. Better wheat flour makes tastier, less tough pizza crusts. Proper handling helps too. The Kansas Cici's pizza toppings had better, fresher taste, and the salad bar had more slelctions than this Hurst Texas location My first experience at Cici's was in the Wichita Kansas location with a party of 12, so pretty much everything was taste tested. Pizzas were so tasty, it made me look for another Cici's when my grandkids were in tow in Texas. Little kids have trouble eating tough pizza crusts, and they did.
