Lobster Bisque, Caesar Salad, Garlic Cheese Bread with an olive oil and herb dip - Got it to go as their AC is out and it's 112° F outside
    James W.

Well, it's been over a year since I've visited here, I used to eat here on a regular basis when I was with my previous company, but they let me go. But now I'm with a new company and I'm back in the area for the next several years so I will be dining here frequently again. I did get my favorite table near the bar and I ordered lobster bisque and a side of grilled shrimp and it was just as good as it was a little over a year ago. Oh, how I've missed you !!!!

My waitress was absolutely amazing, she was fun, personable, and attentive, the rest of the service like the greeters were okay, I didn't initially feel welcomed. The ambiance is decent, noisy but not the worst, table was clean and seating was comfortable. The stuffed shrimp were just dry and not stuffed the sauce next to it just taste like mayo. The bread was good and the shrimp angel hair pasta was okay, did not taste like the cost of the plate. Overall experience was okay.

This was our first visit as a couple, service was incredibly friendly and attentive, the vibe was pretty chill. Overall the food was yummy, not anything earth shattering, but I wouldn't expect anything more from a chain restaurant in hurst. Still a good option if you're looking for Italian food in the mid cities area.

Summary: 4.5/5 Ambiance: very nice 5/5 Food: good 4/5 Service: 5/5 Value: good 4/5 The ambience here is great. We got seated as soon as we walked in the door. Our waiter David was friendly and prompt. The bread for the table served with olive oils vinegar was exceptionally tasty. David informed us that the pasta is made in house. Unfortunately the bread is not but still great. We ordered the chicken marsala to split. I had an old fashioned and she had a house cabernet. The drinks were good our waiter David was excellent. The dish was very good if not quite great (close though). Overall I would recommend this restaurant and would gladly go again.

I felt like I was instantly transported to a family owned joint in New Year City! Dark wood, moody lighting, well dressed waiters. I loved my side salad, very fresh and the dressing was evenly spread out and the chicken Marsala was delicious! I ate it all up! I didn't care for the dark chocolate-blood orange dessert, it melted really fast. But I was there for the main course anyway, and it did not disappoint. Service was great as well! I will be back for my birthday next year!

Such a cute old time-y themed restaurant. It's dark furniture and old knobs and bars, and titled floor makes you feel like you're stepping back in time a few decades. I came here for a girl's dinner. It is loud and packed on a Friday night. The dress code can range from shorts and gym shoes to more elegant casual wear of dresses and dress shirts. The food was slow to come but worth the wait. I had the Seafood Di Amore pasta, it only came with 3 jumbo shrimp but 2 large scallops and enough crab/lobster meat to keep me slurping up with the buttery lobster sauce. Plenty of parking in the back! Our server Kevin was so professional and sweet. He let us know his honest feed back on the dishes, for instance he said one dish was popular with the customers but he personally prefers something else, BUT that he would recommend it to a family member. He sold me on the seafood pasta for sure. Will have to come back ! It was a great experience

    Birthday Dinner!

Wonderful gem in the area with excellent pasta, service, and spacious booth seating! We popped in here to have a lowkey little family birthday dinner for my partner on a late Tuesday afternoon, and found a lovely restaurant space with plenty of spacious, very comfortable booths available for seating. Service was very friendly and attentive, and I loved the quality and size of all the food items we ordered while here. A few members of our party ordered the Olive Garden 'Tour of Italy' styled plate 'Italianni's Trio', which had very big portions and was deliciously prepared. I personally ordered the Linguine with Clams & White Sauce pasta dish, and absolutely LOVED it. Soooo much pasta that was prepared just right - it was delightfully saucy and covered in fresh toppings (in addition to the clams), but nothing was done to a level that would overpower the dish or become too much to enjoy. They also overheard us wishing a happy birthday to my partner and took the initiative to bring out some complimentary cake to celebrate - it was wonderfully decadent and delicious, not to mention large enough for all of us to enjoy together! Italianni's has huge portions, quality food, excellent service, and comfortable seating. Whether a special occasion or just a craving for a lovely Italian pasta dinner, I definitely recommend!

An old style Italian restaurant that everyone should try at least twice! Home made pasta and sauces. Soup like grandma used to make. Molto bella

Nice local Italian place with a stylish interior and friendly staff. No having to ask to sit at a booth because it's basically all booths, love that. Our server was good, attentive. I wish I could remember his name, he basically looked like a tall Aaron Hotchner from Criminal Minds. lol We started with calamari and it was delicious. Even my niece liked it and getting her to try stuff is a challenge. The breading was crisp and the tomato compote was good, a little sweet. They're a little oily after several pieces, but the flavor is really good nonetheless. The rosemary bread they provide is one of my favorite things. I loooove this bread, it's amazing. For her entree my niece had the kid's alfredo with chicken, and a side of broccoli. Their alfredo is supremely good, beats any other alfredo out there. Chains like Olive Garden don't hold a candle to the alfredo at Italiannis. That said, the broccoli wasn't seasoned at. My niece loves steamed broccoli, it's one of her favorites, but she had to salt it pretty well. My entree was the Chicken Milense. The sauce tastes like the alfredo, with a drize of pesto and something else. The sauce and mashed potatoes were delicious. The chicken was pretty dry, but the stuffing was good. My sister had the special of the day, halibut with a side of broccolini and cream cause encased in a sort of cup made from ravioli pasta, and lion's mane and hen of the woods mushrooms. I have to say, the broccolini, sauce, and mushrooms were great. The fish was seasoned well, but it was overcooked. The ravioli pasta was... baked? Not sure, but the result was a strange hard rubber texture. I would order a side of the broccolini again, it was really good. For dessert, my niece got the Tarfullo. The sauce it was sitting in basically tasted like melted ice cream. It was delicious and had a raspberry drizzle through it. I didn't taste the cake with mousse, not a big fan of chocolate desserts, but my niece said it was amazing. I've been coming here every so often for... almost 20 years? It's always been a solid choice, great food. If they were more consistent, this would be a five star place. We love this place, the good food, and all its charm. (Tip, a small side of alfredo is $1.00, order one to dip the rosemary bread in!)

My wife and I always have a great time at Italiannis. I've technically been coming here for decades as I came here weekly with my parents growing up. It's honestly exactly as I remember it inside as it was in the early 2000's. The food is always excellent, you really can't go wrong with any dish you choose. Once nice feature that they have is they allow you to split meals. So if you're not starving (portions are large) you can split a meal between the two of you. The atmosphere is low key with a touch of elegance. It's not a fine dining restaurant, but it can feel like one. Service has always been amazing. The staff really pay's attention to the details and makes sure you're comfortable and feel at home. It's easily one of our favorite Italian restaurants to eat at. You should definitely give it a try!

This is a fantastic Italian spot in Hurst. The service is great, the food is even better. The ambiance is comfortable, with Italian music playing. I live in Fort Worth and I've heard this place is worth the drive, and I have to say, it is! Wonderful!

    Kevin R.

The food was good and the vibes of this place are nice. But I'm giving 3 stars because I called in ahead for a reservation but the table was not ready when we arrived. We had to wait at the bar. I thought maybe they would comp the drinks but there was no effort to make up for it. The staff was nice though.

For entrées, we ordered the Chilean sea bass and the dry-aged NY strip. The sea bass was delicious, and the NY strip was packed with flavor. We also tried the Filet "On the Rock," which was a really unique experience. The steak comes uncooked, and you cook it yourself on a hot rock at the table. It was interactive, fun, and the meat tasted great. The only downside of the visit was the dessert portions when we ordered them to-go. The lemon pie and tiramisu were both much smaller than expected for the price. Other than that, everything about the experience was excellent, and we really enjoyed our visit.

So not only do I have sentimental reasons for loving this restaurant so much, but the food is still phenomenal! I'm not sure what has kept me from visiting the new building but I will return wayyyyy more frequently! The ambiance is perfect for a date or nice family dinner. It was date night for me and my boyfriend- no special reason but we were both hungry. There was a piano player which was a really nice touch. We really enjoyed the songs he played. 10/10! Our waitress was very attentive, my glass was never empty of Dr. Pepper, which btw is really good for some reason. Very crisp! We ordered the combo appetizer- fried calamari rings, shrimp scampi, stuffed mushrooms, and everything is separated by a delicious sautéed spinach. This alone stuffed us! Oh my goodness, everything was delicious. The stuffed mushrooms were our favorite- very flavorful and cheesy. The pink sauce is the best! The shrimp scampi sauce was perfect to dip the garlic knots that are brought to the table. And the fried calamari is nice and crispy and tender. You can't go wrong! For our entrees (we were so stuffed we could only eat a few bites) we ordered the lobster ravioli and the Italian trio - fettuccine Alfredo, chicken Parmesan, and lasagna. Unbelievably good! All of the sauces were outstanding on each pasta. I am so glad to have revisited such cherished memories eating at Niki's and I will be back!

Cody was our server and he was courteous and lively, and overall we really liked the cozy vibe inside. Plenty of space inside for large groups and can be intimate enough for date night too. We ordered the spicy calamari, a Caesar salad, and a pasta sampler to share. First, the complimentary garlic rolls came out, and they might have been my favorite part of the meal. Incredibly buttery, soft, and flavorful. The calamari had a nice batter and savoriness but my girlfriend noted that the green onion garnish tasted off and seem spoiled. We let Cody know and he hopefully relayed that to the chef to let them know. The Caesar salad was pretty typical but enjoyable nonetheless. We got the pasta sampler and the first thing I noticed was that the sauce tasted pretty one dimensional and a bit too sweet for my liking. I'm no Italian food expert but I found it to be at the same level as canned sauces. The cheese fillings and pasta themselves were pretty good and there no complaints there. The meatball also suffered from being a bit bland and had the same problem with the sauce. Maybe it was just an off day, and I do understand they are a family business. Hoping that if I try dining here again I'll have a much better experience than this one.
