For $8.99 including drink their buffet is a smoking deal. Friendly greeting and excellent service. Salad bar was fresh and had good selection. There was a soup which i didnt try but had a little of the pasta. There was a marinara and an alfredo for topping. The cheesy bread is a big hit. I sat near the buffet and everyone that passed grabbed some bread. There was about 8 different pizza options one had spaghetti and meatballs on top. The also had 2 desert options. This buffet was a choice made by the group/family. I can't complain as it satisfied the HUNGER. An affordable price that I didn't mind paying at all. The choices of pizza they create can be endless. The tastes aren't bad. From pizza to soup to salad bar to the dessert station! I walked out of here about 5 lbs heavier and I am ok with that. A server took plates as needed. Ok I been wanting to try this place for years because I have seen it on tv but there was non in California. So OMG it did not disappoint it is great pizza and the people are very nice plus it's keep clean. They have games that are on so that is a awesome side note. I will be back and will bring family. Brought my work crew here the other night after work because they wanted pizza. I hadn't been to one in a long time and couldn't remember what it was like. By a long time I mean like 17 years ago when I was in high school and the football team would go there the Thursday night before a game to see which lineman could eat the most pieces. Me being a 175lb WR/TE at the time, I thought it was impressive that a human being could eat 70+ pieces of pizza in one sitting without throwing up. Fast forward to 2017, the pizza was decent not the best...not the worst, but there was a large selection as well as a big salad bar and desert pizza and some other desert randomness like cinnamon rolls. The restaurant was very clean and the staff was helpful and nice. If you have kids they have a game room type area in the back for you to get rid of all of you loose change...as long as its quarters. read more

We hadn't eaten at a cicis in many years. I wish we would not have came back. I remember the food used to be half way decent. This time it was horrible. We barely even ate anything it was so nasty. I understand that this is not a 5 star restaurant but a frozen pizza would have tasted better. Our daughter ate a few bites of her salad and did not take more than one bite of her pizza. it was terrible. the service was bad, there was people arguing and barely any pizza. the pizza i got was literally paper thin. do not recommend, my brother-in-law had just gotten off work and we were excited to eat and we had to wait a while because there were no pizza nor dessert. very disappointed for $28 read more

Finally Cici's has returned to Joplin! Demolished by the 2011 tornado Cici's vowed they would rebuild and they have! They recently opened for business again not far from where the previous store was. We went in on a Thursday a couple days after their grand opening and the line was long but we were seated very quickly ( we lucked out because after we were seated the line grew out the door !) The restaurant was very clean even though the place was packed. The staff was very friendly and the buffet was always stocked with hot fresh pizza, with a new pizza being added every few minutes.Unfortunately they were out of BBQ pizza that day but they offered to make any kind of pizza that I would like so they made me a philly cheese steak pizza and it is now my new fave! The pizza was very good and they even had chicken noodle soup ( I know right, who goes to a pizza joint for soup) and it was delish! Compared to all the other pizza buffets in Joplin, Cici's has them beat hands down in price and selection. A great place to go and eat with family and friends and the kids will love the new game room. read more

I've been going to Cici's as far back as I remember. Ever since I was a kid! It's a buffet so its definitely quantity over quality but I always love those cinnamon rolls man. People always get into passive aggressive fights about who can get the most before the platter is empty. Fun place! read more

I had a horrible experience with the service. Had to pay for my 2yr old and they refused to let my 1yr old eat off my plate.

Almost all of the pizza, breadsticks and deserts were all severely undercooked, essentially dough with toppings. We have come here every few weeks and it has gone downhill over that time. Every time there are new workers, seemingly new management. Tonight takes the cake, closing process started over an hour before closing so most of the food was located in one small area with no new food coming out when though more customers had been filing in and it smells like chemicals all around the food. Slim pickings, and undercooked at that. I'm disappointed to say the least. They get the one star because at least the 3 workers present were kind. read more

It was horrible. Pizza had no meat whatsoever on it.. on buffet only cheese and mushroom and cheese and the only meat pizza was pepperoni which was awful, it was so greasy and a large piece had two pieces of pepperoni on the whole thing. worthless and cheap. Employees lied about their service. Management argued with customer. Even the brownies they had were soaked in grease. Their 5.55 buffet costs us with a drink over 8.00 and i Will never return to there. I went away and had to find somewhere to eat. Nothing but dough which wasnt very good either! read more
