Cici's is heaven on earth. Every employee could take turns punching me in the face each time I came in, and I'd still shake their hands and rate it 10 stars if I could. As an advocate for mediocre pizza, Cici's offers the cream of the crop. You can imagine my dismay when I was robbed of all my locations when they closed their doors in Illinois. Does it stop there? Absolutely not. I later moved to the Los Angeles area and sure enough, there was not a single Cici's pizza in sight. Just some wannabe pizza chain called Chi-Chi's pizza. I was insulted, and couldn't bear to subject myself to such mockery. So rewind just a few weeks ago when my girlfriend and I first arrived to our brand new home in Pinellas Park, FL. You would have believed that I moved from coast-to-coast just for Cici's the way my eyes glistened when I first saw the glow of the Cici's sign above the door. I'm pretty sure my girlfriend was jealous of the way I stared at the pizza. It was just how I remembered it from so many years ago. The same taste, the same wall art, the same arcade, the radiant beauty of it all. I could have died right then and there with no regrets. This restaurant offered us the chance to return, promising a better experience, and I will say, it delivered. The food was delicious, and they made fresh pizza and desserts while we were there. We were happy we gave it another chance, so thanks to the manager for his offer. The only reason this location didn't earn 5 stars was the cleanliness. This place deserves 0 stars. It smells so bad in there. They have a serious plumbing issue and the smell smacks you in the face right when you walk in the door. My husband had already paid and was seated before I came in, otherwise we would not have eaten there. I only had a slice of pizza I was so repulsed by the smell I couldn't eat. My husband and eldest son ate but I could tell they did not enjoy it as my eldest is a big eater and even he didn't go back for more. I also noticed the cups they gave us were dirty. It's really tucked away and completely invisible from the main road. It was pretty dirty as well. Not "Tijuana Convenience Store" dirty but sloppy/unkempt. Trash on the floor, unbussed tables, drink area a mess, the napkin dispenser right by the pizza line was empty for my entire visit (it is the primary napkin supply for the restaurant). For the Price, this place is 5 stars. Yes, there will be kids running around and yes some tables are dirty but c'mon these reviews below are too much. You can walk up to anyone and they will help you... they will make you any custom pizza you want, even without bread! My kids love it. So if you dont like the menu...get up and walk over and fill out the customer form and get anything you like. Could it be improved yes... cleanliness would be first. A larger play area for kids, maybe more tvs (for those fun games people play at bars).... etc. All in all they do a good job and if you have little monsters its something they will like. read more

Ok I don't consider myself a food snob at all, but I know when food is bad, the environment is lousy, and the clientele is the lowest class. I'm not perfect and I love pizza. I know this is a buffet restaurant and buffets attract a certain type of clientele. But this restaurant is disgusting all the way around. First off the pizza is cheap and bready. Second, the restaurant is hard to find and once you get inside we had to wait for the cashier to take our money to eat an over priced pizza buffet. Third, the clientele is frightening; true, this is a casual restaurant, I get it...Just because you're morbidly obese doesn't mean its ok to show up in public, especially a restaurant, in your most repulsive reveling clothes. People are trying to eat. Most everyone was way over weight and dressed for a trip to Wal-Mart at 3am. Scary. In addition, a girl (20ish) broke her flip flop and continued piling her plate up with pizza with her dirty flip flop in her dirty hand. People, have some common sense and consideration for others. Management, monitor your buffet for sanitary reasons like this. Yuck! The only positive thing I can say about this restaurant is the pizza was hot. Listen, I love Cici's. If I want to stuff my face for $6 it's the place to go. And it's generally clean. The entertainment factor of the pure human trash that also like to stuff their faces is fantastic. Tonight there was a giant baby (I mean giant) walking around with no shoes and no pants. He was wearing a diaper which is plus and so was his average size little sister. I think that's actually against health code, or should be. I can't say that Cici's would ever be a place I would come for a birthday dinner, but im glad I did. We had to keep it cheaper for the whole family to come and it was great. It was a surprise birthday party for my boyfriend, to which I called and made a reservation and dropped off a cake and balloons to set up. From the moment i walked in the door, I was greeted by the sweetest young man, Dominick. He had a smile on his face, took the cake back to hide it, helped us set up the tables, made sure everything was good and brought out the cake for us after. I haven't had such a great service in i dont know how long just because of Dominick. Thank you so much for helping make his birthday special! read more

For being as inexpensive as it is to eat here, food isn't that bad. But, the past few times I have been here to eat, the service is just down right awful. The pizza buffet was put on hold due to a tremendous amount of to go orders....@ a time when the restaurant itself was already busy and people lined up out the door to come in and eat. There are only 2 good things I could say about this restaurant: The staff was friendly, and the girl on the floor cleaning tables was busting her butt (and also seemed like she was getting nowhere), she needed more help with the amount of people that were there. She was not able to keep up with keeping the tables clean and keeping the floor clean. The place was a mess. The A/C felt like it wasn't working very well, which made everything feel sticky and dirty. The pizza was ALRIGHT, nothing spectacular, but for the low price it was good.
