This has become our favorite Asian buffet after trying multiple buffets in the area. The sushi is always fresh and tastes great. The oysters are excellent and consistently available, which is one of the main reasons we keep coming back. We were even pleasantly surprised to find escargot during Christmas weekend, which was a nice touch. The rest of the food is also pretty good with a wide variety of options. The only area that could use some improvement is the dessert selection, which is fairly average compared to the rest of the buffet. The reason I'm giving 4 stars instead of 5 is because the restrooms are consistently dirty, and they never seem to be in much of a hurry to clean them. This is probably the best buffet I've had after arriving in Florida. The place was clean, they had diverse staff who were nice. We liked the Selection of seafood especially the crab legs and lobster. There was no wait and abundance of seating space available. Waitress kept grabbing our finished dishes in a timely matter. I do recommend coming here. read more

The Val pack coupons that recently arrived in the mail are advertising lobster. Just like the all you can eat crab legs, I'm sure this is just for a limited time to justify the raising of their prices. The lobster are the bits that are hard to get to, but if you get there when they first load the tray, you can grab some claws and some sections that have a decent amount of meat in them. I recommend bringing scissors and or shell crackers with you to make it easier to get at the meat. As always, the selection of sushi and seafood is large. I'm usually very critical of buffets and getting four stars would be a great rating from me. BUT this place rocks. It was previously under another name and management and it was not good but we had heard that it was worth giving it a try. Not all the dishes were perfect but nothing was horrible. Simply put, this is the best buffet in St. Pete. They have a great selection of items along with a hibachi bar and sushi bar. I've been twice in the period of a month (don't judge) and always around dinner time. The items that I liked were popular and I was lucky enough that they kept bringing out fresh batches. The crawfish flavor is great, and even though they were previously frozen, that doesn't hinder the dish overall. I highly recommend this buffet! read more

Buffets are always tough to decipher because half of the reviews will say this place is crazy good and half will say this place is crazy bad.. my take is a solid 4/5. Buffet city is a busy spot, but you're in for a great experience. The seafood is solid with grab, muscles, baked oysters, raw oysters, and a wide variety in between. They also had roasted chicken, fried chicken, ribs, and three rows of more American styled dishes. Overall, the flavor was better than other Chinese buffets I've had before that are either too greasy or too salty. Came here with a friend to check it out. Was a great deal for a variety of Chinese food. It was $17.99 a person on a Friday night. Everything was clean and fresh. Buffets make me nervous but this was very clean and well run. Service was great. After seeing that B C had a new chef, and new management No 1 Florida Cuz, the two kids and myself tooled over to give in a try yesterday to take advantage of the AYCE lobster that is advertised on Saturdays, and Sundays. I make it a point to take a walk through any buffet before committing myself to the place, when I checked the lobster area I found that that it was a washout, the lobster was only small pieces of broken up claws, and I also found that there is no snow crab claws on the weekend, bummer. What I did find was quite a lot of variety that looked interesting so we decided to eat there...I found the peel and eat shrimp were very fresh, and delicious and the appetizers, crab rangoon, egg rolls, and steamed bun were good. There are more creatively named chicken items here than I have ever seen in another Chinese buffet so if you like chicken you'll like this place. Not my 1st visit and have seen happen multiple times. Positive view it's clean customer service good, and the food is a 4 star. The negative part if you close at 10pm why do you stop putting food out at 830pm and charging full price. Y'all still be letting people in at after 830 and it's barely food or it's cold like y'all be turning off the burners. My suggestion is have the waiters information the guest of last food being put out or offer a discount. You offer a 10-15% discount after 830pm with carry outs cause I know you know the food is cold and it's nothing there. Try to fix this before you start loosing customers. We had been to this buffet before the re-brand it was fine. There aren't a lot of chinese buffets anymore so you couldn't be too picky. However, since the re-open, they have really stepped it up. Basically the same food with more additions and a great selection of sushi. (MY ONLY RECOMMENDATION IS THEY LABEL THE SUSHI AS I DON'T KNOW WHAT THEY ARE). They have tons of seafood and many, many entrees. I loved their seaweed salad. The ice cream area has also greatly improved. No more freezer burned vats but many choices or ice cream sandwiches and small containers of ice cream. Very fresh. It wasn't perfect as the chicken satay, that was my son's staple was dry and not very flavorful both times we ate here and the desserts themselves need a little bit of an upgrade. It was surprisingly good for a buffet! Huge selection of sushi. Only complaint is that it was not labeled. I'm funny about raw fish so only ate what I knew was crab. Really liked the honey chicken and General Tso's. They had about everything you could imagine. If your kids don't like sushi they had chicken nuggets and pizza etc. We didn't try the hibachi but it looked good. The crab Rangoon and the egg rolls were pretty darn good. First time there today. Pleasant changes to the place! (Got there when they opened.) Food was flavorful and taste was really good however, the food could have been warmer. (Was great for me personally because I don't like my food hot, but my husband wasn't a fan) All was lukewarm. Bathrooms are MUCH better!! Thank you. Fruits, desserts, pizza and more. I buy it to go by the pound so I don't have to buy groceries!!! I like the fact I am not buying fast food or fried food before or after work. The Staff is beyond friendly and helpful. Truly this improves my health and day when I can buy just what I eat and not cook or grocery shop and eat home cooked meals FAST.
