I will update review shortly: I came here on a Sunday. I had heard great things about this place. I didn't have a lot of time but wanted a place to chill for the week so I purchased a monthly membership at a cost of $20. I specifically told the manager that I needed a place to chill for the week. I returned two evenings later to chill. The place was CLOSED. The workers on the roof and inside told me they would be closed for at least two days. I asked if there had been an accident. Did a meteor fall from the sky yesterday and unexpectedly crash into the roof? No, he said. I was livid. BE MORE CHILL, he warned. But I couldn't. I didn't have a Squip. WELL THEN WHY DIDN'T THE JACKHOLE BEHIND THE COUNTER HAVE THE COMMON COURTESY TO TELL ME ABOUT THE PLANNED CLOSING TWO DAYS LATER? Kinda reminds me of Victor's Gym in the Bronx that ran a one-time-only membership special offering annual memberships for $150. They raked in about 15k that day. Awesome place had fun with the grandkid. Even my 83 year old mother had fun. Meant to stay 2 hours but ended up staying 5 hours. Some of the games didn't work and we wish they had Galaga and centipede but other than that worth the $ and good way to spend a hot summer day indoors. Staff is super friendly. read more

This is the second arcade I've been to in Dallas and can say this is the best one so far. At least the people and Personnel here bathe. The price is really cheap it's $10 a person for all you can play all day or $20 for a month and since I will be here a couple of months guess what I got? As another review stated, these games are easily found at the expensive places for like $2 and play while here you get all you can play which is a really good value. If you are cold natured, might want to bring a light jacket or something because the air conditioning works very very well in here. There is a large selection of hard cider hair ranging from $6 on up and pretty much worth it. If you would like to sit down and have a drink and talk there is another room / glass doors where you can sit down on Park type benches which also has more machines and their to play. Parking can be a little harsh at tested times because you'll be parking on the street which leaves Mary no room for other cars to get by but I guess one will have to make do with that. Make sure you pay very close attention to these on where you are not supposed to park unless you would like an us suspected movement of your car. read more

I've always heard about this place, and was happy my friend recommended checking this spot out. You walk in and pay for unlimited play, which was an affordable $10. So you want to check out the premises...sure sure, totally understandable. You start walking around, and then you say, wow there's a lot of games. Then you keep walking, and see another area, and then another room ALL FULL OF GAMES. I feel stupid saying this, but I was taken aback by the arcade and all it had to offer. This place had it all from basic classics, dance games, shooting games, racing games, random games I've never even heard of before, and games only your parents would know. There's tables for you to sit at to order and eat food, as well as host a party if you'd like. On on top of all this amazingness, there are multiple ciders (I'm talking a good 20-30) you can pick from, to drink while you run around acting like a child. Did it help that we ran into two cute boys and hung out with them all night.. sure, but whatever. This place is great! YES. 24 ciders and meads on tap. 125 arcade games. Just, yes. My dad, husband, brother, and I had a great afternoon at Bishop Cidercade earlier this year. We just had a wonderful time! There was a variety of drink options (from sweet to sour to dry). And so many games: Galaga, pinball, MarioKart (4 players), and more! They don't really serve food, but they have some basic snacks (nuts), and you can have food delivered (there are tables to eat at in a separate room with a couple of games in it). Came on a Monday night around 7pm. Last minute & needed somewhere to just go hang out at. So I'm bias, I enjoy Bishop Cider beer, so of course their beer selection was amazing! Can't go wrong with Bishop Cider. They have great beer! But $10 for unlimited arcade is the highlight of the place. I think it's great to bring friends & guests from out of town here. A lot of sitting space. I'm a huge fan and I would most definitely go back to this place. Can't believe this is my first time here. Why have I not found this place sooner? Such a phenomenal concept! Love the $10 unlimited game play, & they have a sufficient variety of arcade/carnival games. I also enjoy the seasonal ciders. They have a pecan pie one, which they even top off with whip cream which is a fun touch. The peach one during the summer is solid, they even had a promotion if you buy a case you get a free glass. My favorite was a cider smoothie! I honestly don't recommend going on a weekend evening since it gets really crowded & there'll be waits for games. During the days children are allowed in as well, I think it would be better for it to be at least 18+ all day. The kids have chuckee cheese, Dave & busters & everything else. read more

This is my favorite spot in Dallas. We like going with our kids and also for date nights. We're from out of state but stop by every time we're in Dallas. Even when it's busy it doesn't seem crowded. Cider is on point and I love being able to walk up to any game and play, then just walk away whenever I need another drink! As a pinball fan as well as a cider fan, it doesn't get any better than Bishop Cidercade. Bishop makes some of the best cider on the planet, so stopping by just for their awesome selection of on tap ciders would be worth a visit. But the star of the show is the arcade, full of an awesome selection of retro and relatively current arcade games, a massive offering of pinball machines and a number of carnival style games, all free to play after the $10 admission. The library is extensive and diverse, from single players to 10 players, and arcade classics like Galaga, PacMan, Tetris to new offerings like Jurassic Park (2015) TMNT (2018) and Killer Queen. There's three different drivers, with four seats each, including MarioKart DX. There's a bunch of shooters, across all eras. They even have the Fix It Felix Jr promotional game based on Wreck It Ralph! The staff is hands off throughout the arcade unless there's an issue, at which point we saw them quick to action to get the Let's Bounce machine running again and to work on a screen for Killer Queen. At the bar, they're very friendly and patient even with a newcomer trying to figure out which seasonal brew to try. The bar is well staffed and even going on a Friday night, we were never behind more than one other order to get a new drink. Drinks run $6-7 for almost everything on the menu, and have a great diversity in cider styles and flavors; there's plenty of options whether you prefer sweet, semi-sweet, dry, semi-dry, tart or even sour. Beyond vending machines, there's no food offering in the establishment, but they do have a different food truck that comes every day and allow you to bring or order in any outside food. The food truck offering for each day is listed on their website and there's a number of restaurants that deliver to the establishment. There's a great amount of seating for eating -- inside, on a covered patio, and fully outside. The patio even has swing chairs. At no point in the night was there a lack of room for a group of 4 to sit down and eat if they wanted to. The Cidercade's website says they use ULV cold floggers to disinfect everything on in the arcade, and do this after hours. The site also says that there is staff going through often disinfecting surfaces during the day; I didn't see this specifically, but also hadn't been looking for it. They have hand sanitizer dispensers everywhere for use. If you enjoy gaming and a good hard cider, it's a must go for a night out. read more

I personally love this place! It's cool they make their own drinks, and they aren't too shabby! The games can make for hours of entertainment, and it's always a good option for get-togethers of all ages (but keep in mind they restrict to adults-only in the evenings). The only two downsides are the terrible parking availability and lack of real limit on the number of people allowed inside (or maybe there is, but it does not feel that way). The place can get PACKED, even during pandemic times. I tried coming at a really random time of day (around 2pm on a Saturday), and it was busy even then. Parking is a matter of luck. I will update this review if I become aware of a good parking strategy. read more

STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE! I had planned my bachelor party here with my grooms people and we were having a good time until we went back to the bar to have drink only to find out that one of the members in our party was cut off for the night. We were shocked. We had a small party of 5 and we all stayed together the entire night. No issues. No one came up to us to report any issue. We were just having a good time until that moment when we wanted a another drink. When my grooms woman went for a drink they told her "sorry. You are cut off for the night." They offered NO REASONS OR EXPLANATIONS as to why. They refused to answer questions and stated "we trust our bartenders." I think they should have at least came up and talked to us about the situation. We then went outside to talk about situation amongst ourselves only to followed by a security named Merritt who eavesdropped on our conversation and offered unsolicited advice saying," Guys it's not a big deal. Go drink some water. You'll be fine." We were floored. Like who is this dude? Needless to say we close our tabs and ask for the manager only to be told no one was present. This is supposed to be a super fun night for me as it is my bachelors party but I can't have fun if we all can't have fun together by enjoying some cider and playing games. My wife & I visited cidercade a month ago & We had a blast. You buy a one way entry for the day @ $10 or a whole month @ $16. Cool concept. You can play till they are closed. They ciders are pretty good. I have used this route many times & never knew it's the time machine to travel back & play arcades. Always took it to cider manufacturing plant. Felt nostalgic looking at all the games. To name a few there's Donky Kong, super Mario, street fighter, mortal kombat, & a lot more from Konami classics, pinball machines and car racing arcade machines. They don't have a restaurant but you can buy food from the food trucks outside. Although we didn't get to try any food from the trucks, heard from the staff they are good. They have a huge patio with swings and tables. We saw Crowd from all ages. Staff was very helpful, friendly & welcoming. Totally worth it. HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS PLACE!!! read more

Walking through the doors is like taking a step back to your childhood, when summers meant endless hours at the arcade playing video games trying to beat the high score. There is something for everyone, games to play as an individual or as a group. Bring the kids for a family outing or wait till after 8 when it's 21 & up and bring a date, sip on some cider, and get to mashing buttons . . . either way, it's lots of fun! We had a blast & before we knew it a couple of hours had passed by quickly. This place was pretty amazing!! So it's a cidery arcade. You pay $10 entry and you can play as many games as you would like for free, which this location has a lot of by the way. Then you can buy alcoholic cider to drink. They had about 28 flavors of cider on tap ranging from $5-$8 each. I had the sweet apple, crackberry, and blackberry apricot mixed with apple pineapple which was pretty delicious. The football game was on tonight and they had the game on in both sides of the place one side is where the bar is and you order drinks and just play games then the other side had a few booths to sit a few picnic tables for seating with a few tvs and they had the game playing which was really nice that side also has more games and the distillery equipment. There is also an outdoor eating area. Children are allowed into the Cidercade before 9pm and after they are not allowed. There was a pretty good crowd and nice venue. The bar tenders were pretty nice and helpful recommended drinks. You can also order canned cider to go I am not sure of the flavors. It is a byof (bring your own food) establishment because they do not sure food. This was a great place to get some great cider for the none beer drinkers and play some games and maybe catch a little tv to get away from the daily stress. I would definitely come back if I am in town. Oh I put four stars because it would have been nice to have a coat rack. read more

I came here for the first time this past Saturday night and my initial impression was that they were not following/enforcing CDC guidelines. Their website says they have employees disinfecting arcade games, masks are required, and encourage social distancing. However upon entry we noticed the majority of the population was not wearing their mask. We stayed for a couple hours and never once say the arcade games being cleaned after use. I also felt like the place was extremely crowded. Even if we weren't in a pandemic, I wonder what the max occupancy on the building is. SO because that created a little discomfort in my mind I am taking off a star. Other than that, I felt that the staff was very friendly! They have a large selection of games, they also had an outdoor area, and a food truck! I was also impressed with the large selections of ciders they offer. Overall it was a fun experience and we will probably be back. I just wish their actions reflected the words on their website regarding COVID precautions. read more

We purchased wristbands that got us unlimited play for the entire evening. We also each ordered a flight of 4 ciders. They have an extensive list of offerings here, so its the perfect place to try ciders you've never tried before. They give you tickets to turn in when you are ready for your next taster so you don't have to carry around 4 cups at a time. They had a food truck there, but we opted for ordering from uber eats. I started to review Cidercade the moment I got home from the first visit, but decided to give it some time and a couple more visits to make sure it wasn't just the first-timers high. 3 visits later, and it's still a huge win. Tip: if you plan to come back more than twice in the month, get the month membership card. Pay $10 to get in, then another $10 to be able to come in an unlimited number of times for a whole month, cover-free! I can't tell you how delighted I am that all the games are set on free-play, meaning, pay $10 to get in, play every game for free, and enjoy their huge selection of ciders (and a few pretty good wines/sangria, too!) while you're at it! (Please use a coaster!) I've been searching for an actually-cool place to take my 8 and 12 year old, and nothing nearer to me does it. I'm not looking for a screaming kid-filled fun-house, but rather an alternative way to interact with electronics and each other... this place fits the bill. We are also super cool with the 8PM 21 & Up only rule; we come, we play, we leave happy, even at 8! I'm very appreciative of Cidercade acknowledging that even kids... still like to be kids? And cider-loving people (or not?) sometimes have kids, too. The Darkside currant cider is rich and elegant. The Fig & Honey is perfectly balanced and light. The Pineapple Coconut is a sweeter (but not too sweet) cider reminiscent of a summer in Mexico. What started with a love for Crackberry has morphed into a ciderventure! I'd venture to say Crackberry is knocked down the list of favorites and replaced by quite a few that I've had since coming to Cidercade. Worth the 35 minute drive (when there's no traffic) from Flower Mound. I'd love to see one closer, but until then, to Dallas Cidercade we go! read more
