Had a great time here! We chose the Escape AI course, and it was a really fun experience. Everyone wears helmets to interact with the game, using movements and touching the walls when prompted. We used the full 60 minutes to complete the escape game, but it felt much shorter because we were so into it! It's a great indoor activity--perfect for escaping the Dallas heat for an hour or two. Recommended by a friend and it was worth it. Reservation recommended so you are not waiting in line and easy check in. Came from out of town and did not realize we needed reservation but they were able to check us in Good customer service for whoever was at the desk Sunday afternoon (6/8/25) . Fun, fun, fun!!!! We had a blast with this interactive game room. It was something different to do and was outside of the box for sure; we get tired of dinner and movies. I love that there are drinks offered for purchase (alcoholic and nonalcoholic) to sip on while you play because you get parched while playing the games. To play, you wear hats that have GPS trackers to track your movements in the room. And you complete multiple tasks and obstacles. It is truly fun!!!! If I could offer one criticism... it would be that the rooms get hot after about 20 minutes of game play. They have a fan on in the rooms while you play, but it is not sufficient to keep you cool. We played for 90 minutes so it was not very comfortable towards the end due to the heat. Had the rooms been cooler I would have easily been able to rate 5 stars. read more

I went with a friend for a birthday celebration. I recommend reservations. Even on a random day. I've been to the one in Grandscapes and didn't seem to really need reservations. I went to this one in Deep Ellum on a Monday, checked on Sunday and Monday morning and Monday lunch time was open. I didn't make reservations because I didn't know what time our lunch would end. We walked in behind a business group. First--what an awesome team building idea! Second--holy moly, what a ton of people. We were lucky that they had one room open but that was a near miss. We signed waivers and the emails we provided later received our gif email, more on that later. We were lied to our room which has a sort of picture shelf for drinks and narrow items (like my clutch purse) or we could hang purses from the hat holders. This game is driven with hats which gauge your height and player color in the game. I had a tough time getting mine to fit for the first 20 mins, adjusting and readjusting. But it didn't take away from the experience. This game is fun if you go with fun people. It's completely about dynamics and having a memorable time together. I would not go with mean, competitive people--you know the type. But regular, fun-loving, competitive people are the best! We had a fantastic time trying to become CIA agents (we wouldn't make it) in the Psychedelic Mansion. I don't plan to tell anyone how many junior agents we lost, but it was more than we rescued. When the game was over, we had a well-directed 5 second gif. Have a plan. There's nothing more awkward than shrugging gifs in the lobby. I would absolutely recommend Immersive Gamebox for a unique memory for people that like games and love fun. read more

Grab your friends and get ready to have some fun! So we weren't sure what we were getting into but by the end we were all laughing and agreeing that we would come back and do this again. So most folks were doing Squid games however as it was our first time we did alien aptitude test and if I tell you it was a work out that I didn't see coming. There were different levels consisting of different games (memory, a maze, etc) that you work as a team to get a high score on. We found ourselves laughing so much as we cheered each other on and at times screaming each other to the finish. The staff there were great, explained to us the dos and donts and let us know how to contact them if we needed anything once the game got started. At the end we were able to take a group picture (they also have a mount for your camera so you can take pictures while playing) and they have free lockers to put your stuff while you play. This is great for a birthday, a date night, a group night or whatever . . . Can't wait to do it again! read more

Staff were all friendly and knowledgeable of game. Signing in & getting started was easy, up to 6 players per room, a staff member steps in to explain a few quick rules to the game and how the system itself works. Our team was great, it's very interactive and inclusive. There really isn't anyway to not have a good time! Only thing I didn't like was the parking situation. If you luck up on street parking, take it! Garage parking was $21 and I was told they had no way to validate tickets. Grab your friends (carpool, or ride share) and have a great time! A seriously fun fun fun time! This is a gaming experience I suggest for all! Family friends, date night, or just to try something different... it is so worth it! This is a totally immersive experience. You are put in a room and told to wear this funny visor hat to play. The room is your game screen and your body is the controller. 3 walls of the room, from floor to ceiling, are the screens. You move forward, back, left and right to manipulate your avatar, and at times you touch the walls to activate things. Seriously this is not only fun it is a work out. My son and I were jumping sliding back and forth and twisting to make things click. Is was a full of riot! I don't think I have had this much fun in a game ever! I first tried it with my oldest, then I went back with both my boys. There are 4 hats in a room so I think up to 4 can play at a time. The rooms are good sized but I could see how more then 4 could have you stumbling over each other. They do offer some drink and snack options as you are playing. Just tap the menu and you can order stuff that they bring to you. The first time my oldest and I needed drinks we were sweating so much! The cost is reasonable and each selection takes an hour of time. They have puzzle like games, even a version of squid games, and now a ghost busters game I want to try... that will challenge not only your body, but your mind as well. We have been back several times now... and have had a ton of fun each time! I highly suggest trying this out... you will be so very glad you did! read more

I came here with a group of adults that ranged in age from their early 20s to 50s for a team building experience. The premise is that you are in a small room and have to solve the puzzles to advance. You wear an interactive visor that helps you use the walls to submit answers. There are multiple rooms and a variety of games to chose from. Each room can hold up to 6 people. We had several rooms and all selected the same game so we could compete across the rooms. We picked Psychedelic Mansion. It had lots of different games and puzzles we had to solve. Some were word puzzles, others were geography, still others were spatial navigation. All were lots of fun and appropriately challenging. It was a great team building experience and a fun way to get to know people's strengths. read more

What a fun experience, perfect for date night. Parking was hard to find, but we found a paid lot. We walked in and were greeted by Brianna. She was very helpful in helping out us first-timers. We checked in on Yelp and got a coupon for our game. We booked online ahead of time which was easy. They even offered a student discount, which we appreciated. We played just the two of us, but could have up to 6 I believe. We signed our waivers and began playing Psychedelic Mansion. Brianna showed us to our room, explained the game verbally, and gave us some pointers on certain mini-games. She shared that this game was her favorite. We began playing and immediately had so much fun on this collab game. There are 4 or 5 different mini-games that have various levels of difficulty. Our favorite was Word, where you have to spell out words to disarm bombs. Each mini-game was about 3-4 minutes long and then you switch, and I liked that method. The room has A/C but we naturally got a little warm from the workout. Wish I hadn't worn jeans. They have breaks in the game where you can order drinks to be delivered mid-game. They have a small selection of canned alcohol. We finished our game at the one-hour time limit and ranked pretty highly for the week. We had so much fun that we played again! We booked their Squid Games game. This was also a collaboration game, but a little different in timing. It was 6 different games that we played for 10 minutes each, one after another without returning to a previous game. Somehow I ended up being better at this game than my husband, something about the balance and timing, haha. At the end of each game, you get to create a GIF and it'll show on the leaderboards and get emailed to you. It's fun to create, but it doesn't create the GIF in the actual time it says it does. It gives a 5-second count down to dance or move, but we had to retake our GIFs because it only captured the last 1 or 2 seconds. Odd. The walls of the room are easy enough to manage and play. You wear this visor that should be tight enough to not fall off but also rather uncomfy to wear for two hours (one game per hour). The visor communicates with the walls, and it was supposed to be very reactive to touch, but I had a harder time than my husband getting the walls to recognize my touch, and I couldn't figure out what I was doing wrong. We thought it was my ring, but that theory proved false. Luckily the Squid Games game wasn't heavy on touching the walls at all, just tracking motion. My husband had a purple spot on his forehead from the visor that eventually went away. I probably couldn't have played a third game without taking a larger break just to let my forehead rest. I would imagine little kids complaining about that or even people with sensitive skin. I don't know the ins and outs of the visor, but there are just two protrusions underneath the cushion that just hurt to wear over time. Overall I would definitely be back to play again, but this time in shorts! And if possible I'd bring my own water bottle. It seemed as if we played the two most challenging games, so we'd keep an eye out for new ones to be released. Wish we had one in Oklahoma. read more

Our host, Arv, was friendly and kind; the building AC broke down in the sweltering Dallas summer heat so he offered us cold water bottles free of charge. Excellent customer service. We played the squid game version, which included many of the games from the show. The Doll mini game was a bit too sensitive (as in we weren't moving at all and the game still tracked us as such), and the Marble mini game wasn't sensitive enough (meaning we shot the marbles inadvertently). Otherwise, all the games were lots of fun and activity-intensive. For this particular game, I'd recommend it for teens or young adults. You don't need to have watched the show beforehand, but it helps to understand the game. You can make reservations, but they weren't needed for us! Wasn't worth the price for what we paid. We had 6 people do Squid Game. The price is the same per person whether it's 2 or 6 people. So with 6 people, it's actually longer to take your turn and you "play" less. We paid the full price for a 60 minute game, which amounted to over $200. Squid Game has two out of five decent games - red light green light and the rhythm tug of war. Marble game was hard to control and again, I only got two tries in the 8 minutes. The animal mask game was extremely easy, especially with 6 people/brains because it's cooperative. We did the Black Mirror game after because they offered a discount on that one. It makes it more worth it but it still a lot of turn taking. I said these games are better with just 2-4 people with the price they charge. read more

G A M E S I think this constitutes virtual reality even though there's no headset (But there is a headpiece). My group of five played the Squid Games experience. It consisted of six games and each player got to play 3 to 4 times each round/game. Overall, it took about an hour to get through the entire experience and it was very entertaining. I was really excited to try the squid games version because in 2021 I was obsessed with the show and I really loved it. I do feel like they encompassed the show really well in the game and it was very reminiscent of the show. These games are great for all ages I would say about 12 years old and up and will keep the entire family entertained. S E R V I C E Employees were really nice. They helped to get us checked in really quickly and explain the games really well. They also gave us some hints prior to playing the games. You're provided these corny visors with antennas on them, but that's where the fun begins. You're then immersed into this interactive, digital, reality smart room. They offer a variety of different game options for all ages (3+). Reservations aren't required but are recommended. The maximum capacity for each game room is 6. Food isn't served at this location, but you can always eat before or after your Immerse experience at one of the many bars and restaurants that surround the location. Ton of fun and excellent for the kids! I had my sister's family visiting for a few days - they have 2 young kids like 10 and 12. We gave this a try and it was amazing! It's a new and fun way to play a game together and it was most definitely worth it! Even though we had the kids with us, we still opted for the Squid Game game here and it was absolutely perfect! It's not like gory and there's no cursing and the kids know of Squid Game from Fortnite (they had similar games to these when Squid Game was popular). Anyhow - you're in a small room with one glass wall with a door so people can see in. That's a little odd - I wished it were more private. Also - we had 6 people and these rooms are way too small for 6 people to comfortably play a game in. We managed. Still, the game(s) were excellent. There's definitely a learning curve to each, but the hour flew by and we all had a blast. At the end you can dance and a little gif/video is shared on their internal screens and a you can get a copy of it online - they send it to you. We knew that was coming from waiting in the lobby and seeing the others on the screen. We all did the same synchronized dance and it ended up being hilarious! If you have kids or like gaming absolutely give this a try. It made the visit most memorable! read more

A great time! We enjoy escape rooms and our 13 year old son is very cliche in loving video games. This is somewhat of a combo of both of those things and fun way to spend an hour with all of us having a good time together (a challenge in and of itself!). I agree with the others in that I was smiling the entire time. It's an immersion without the overwhelmingness that virtual reality can be and it's nice to be able to play the games as a team. I love the box/room with the fun colors, graphics and music. They have a wide variety of games and we're gonna come back to try out more! The staff is so friendly and welcoming. You can even order drinks in mid game and they are quick to deliver with a smile while not interrupting the game you're trying to beat! The whole experience is very easy, not overly complicated and yet it's involved enough to give plenty of difficulty to overcome. (We didn't completely accomplish that!) The staff working there are incredibly friendly. I laughed and had a great time. Two notes or issues would be the sound was not loud enough during the tug-of-war game to hear the beat and win the game. Also, during the marble game, the walls were extra sensitive and would shoot the marble before we were ready. I love the concept and the hats and the shelf or we can leave our drinks.
