Randomly popped in when walking downtown. I ordered the Pink Lemonade Cosmo. It was strong but sweet and I liked the cotton candy touch! Not bad for the price. The inside was very cute disco vibes.

    Michaela the best bartender ever!!!

Michaela is the best bartender ever. She makes the best espresso martini drinks actually, she is amazing with any drink. She is the best!

This is based on bar only. The art part closes early. The host was nice helped us to seats. Bartenders are super nice and helpful Very approachable. They basically serve the bar area like waiters and waitresses. Go to each table for drinks and close out checks. A lot of work for a bartender. Luckily the bar area isn't big. But with all that they do the still will be really helpful. Great staff overall.

Such a cute cute place! I took my daughter and her friend for a spring break activity. It's definitely pink, like a pink bubble gum bubble exploded when you first you walk in. However, it's not a pink overload that makes you feel like you are walking through a bottle of Pepto Bismol. Upon entering, you are greeted by the "hotel agent" and check-in. The agent welcomed us and gave us instruction on how to travel through the "hotel." We also purchased the scavenger hunt to make the journey more fun and engaging. The scavenger hunt was not expensive and is a fun add-on. Once you go through the "elevator doors" to the other rooms, each room has a different theme. Every room is intricately designed for a different atmosphere and is perfectly set up for pictures, whether selfie or group. Once you go through the hotel and complete the scavenger hunt, you receive your gift and go to the "hotel bar." They have both mocktails and cocktails for your enjoyment. We purchased the package that includes your beverages but you are able to purchase your beverages on-site. The drinks are sweet, hence the sweet tooth hotel, but they were delicious none the less. The hotel took about 45 minutes but it was because we took so many pictures and had a great time in each room. Again, we had the scavenger hunt so that was a little extra time in each room but not by much. If you just journey through the rooms and not take advantage of picture opportunities, you can get through the hotel in 20 minutes easy. For the price you pay, I would definitely say take your time and enjoy the scenery and take all the pictures. It's a place that once you've been, you don't have to go back. I would suggest this for a cute girls date. My husband was with us and said the scavenger hunt made it fun for him but without it, he would have only liked it because he was with us. I would say it is an 8/10 and I do recommend. I only say 8/10 because of price versus time spent in the hotel. I will say, the decor detail (and the lease) would be my guess as to why it's priced the way it is.

Me and my 2 friends came here right at opening a few Saturdays ago. We were the only people there besides Alexis and Andres who were working. Alexis was really kind and helpful, and she was the only positive part of our visit. After we got our tickets from her, but before entering the exhibit, we stopped at the bar. The bartender, Andres, attempted to take our order, but somehow managed to not only use the N word once, but then used it another 2 times. Then made sexist remarks when we told him that word is derogatory we did not want to hear it. We never managed to get our drinks. After this happened, I emailed management to let them know. I have still not heard back from the manager after several weeks, so I cannot be sure this matter was taken seriously. If you're thinking about getting a watermelon drink while Black and Andres is bartending, just be aware you might have to hear a racial slur a few times!!! And if you're a woman, you might get a shiny sexist cherry to top it all off!!

Thank you to a fellow Yelper for posting the information about the Super Sweet Cinco de Mayo $5 special. We received a very friendly welcome and we give our room key card, a pink maraca to bedazzled later in the cocktail lounge and instructions to exploring the hotel. Bring your imagination along as you explore all of the rooms and interactive art exhibits. There's lots of photo opportunities. After wondering the halls and rooms, we ended our adventure in the Calirosa Cocktail Lounge with a delicious Dragon's Wink with a wasabi salted rim!!

We came here for a sweet treat. We thought it was a dessert shop but it's an art museum and a bar! We arrived and were greeted by staff instantly. We asked for the treats and were given out selection. They said could eat it at the bar. We walked in and it was so cool!!!! This is such a trendy and instagramable place! This would be a great place for a girls night! I didn't go to the art museum area but the bar is the coolest!

What a fun place! A super interactive museum with a bar with the funnest drinks. The staff and bartender were so sweet and fun!

My friend and I arrived at the "Hotel" at opening which was around 12 PM which meant there was no one else already inside. We had the place to ourselves and were able to spend a lot of time in each of the 9 rooms. The rooms used different materials and colors to create really interesting pieces of interactive art. It was an incredibly unique experience, there wasn't any music or anything that would have been disruptive to our journey throughout the different rooms. For 30$, I think it was time well spent too! Since it's the month of June, we were also given the opportunity to get a free pride flag and rainbow pin which I thought was an adorable touch.

Still love Sweet Tooth Hotel. I loved that they decorated for the holidays, so I had to stop in for some pictures and a cocktail. The ladies who work here are always so friendly. :)

I had the opportunity to go to the Sweet Tooth Hotel with my kid and friends, and it is a cute concept. Normally, the price is around $25, but they had a deal going on for $5 per person, so we decided to check it out. They have a bar located inside of the "hotel" and there were quite a few people there. If I had come without kids, we may have stopped by, and I feel like an adult beverage could have made it more of an entertaining experience. When we walked in, we were greeted, and they gave us a high-level understanding of the rooms. You have to use your "room key" to get into each room. They also have a scavenger hunt that you can participate in if you use an app on your phone. It is a good idea but it seems that was the only thing to tie the rooms together. The rooms were cool and creative and a total of about 7, but would I pay $25 to go again? Honestly, probably not.

The sweet tooth hotel was such a neat museum! There were 8 different rooms with different themes and all were perfect photo ops. I love that they limit how many people can go in at once so you don't run into other people in other rooms. It was wonderfully crafted, I had to save all of the artists' names! They had a bar and the drinks were amazing! All of the drinks were Girl Scout cookie theme and I had the Trefoils cocktail. It was so good. The front desk girls were super super nice and friendly. We had such a great time. For sure a must visit in Dallas!

This was so much fun!!!! There are these rooms, each with a unique and fun artistic themed rooms. You literally become part of the art. I suggest getting the Dreamland tour. Take your time because there are cool details in each room and TONS of photo opportunities It's so worth it. The drinks were pricey so be ready to pay up lol! They were so delicious and the bartender gave great service. Lastly, although the promotional stuff pink, this is great for guys too on date night because most of the room are very artistic and not girly. I highly recommend it!

The Dallas Art Museum is free for most of the museum, with special exhibits costing extra, but honestly there is plenty to see without spending a dime. The membership will also provide a discount at the museum store and in the snack bar. Visit twice during the year, and the membership more than pays for itself. Your DMA cards will be mailed to you in four weeks, in the mean time, use that printed receipt for everything. We renewed our membership this weekend April 2026 and went to see the Samurai Collection. Metalwork is not a favorite of mine, but I was still fascinated by the stories presented on the placards throughout the exhibit and I certainly appreciated the beautiful, intricate craftsmanship presented in each piece. I didn't realize that the Samurai swords and armor had been banned from production in Japan, so the metal workers pivoted and learned to become artisans. They started to make and repair metal embellishments, lanterns, and incense burners for the numerous temples in the country. Many of the items in this collection were from Kyoto and Nara, both places my husband and I visited in November 2009. The full body armor was fascinating. Little pieces of leather were coated in metal, painted, and woven tightly together to form a moveable, but protective layer over the body. The workmanship was exquisite. The exhibit had a few short videos you could watch to learn about the work. I especially liked the 30 second clip about the process of making cloisonné. These vases are beautiful and the process to make each one is detailed and meticulous. Kids could collect a postcard-sized scavenger hunt near the entrance and use that to stay in engaged throughout the visit. At the end, there was a sign on the wall with the answer key pictures showing which art pieces help the intricate designs they were looking for. The DMA has a permanent collection that includes a variety of art from around the globe, as well as multiple special exhibits throughout the year. Everyone is bound to find something that delights them and inspires conversation and wonder. Worth a visit!

My husband and I needed a fun activity to do together (without the kids) for our 18th wedding anniversary and I decided it looked neat enough to go to, even if it was mainly just an immersive art experience. I was 1000% wrong. It is way, way more than that. It is intense and entertaining and intriguinging and kept our attention and interest for nearly 3 hours on our extended date. We felt a bit like kids again, and there was even more of the experience that we didn't fully explore in that timeframe. It's hard to explain without giving away spoilers but it was incredibly interesting and multifaceted and immersive, but not directly as an art exhibit as much as like you are in a storyline in an Alice in Wonderland-like world with multiple dimensions and most everything is interactive. Touch everything, push the buttons, open the doors and drawers and cabinets, cause there are hidden treasures and such at every turn. The employees were wonderful. No one broke character, they were just as present as you'd want them to be (they're there in part to answer questions and help with whatever is needed), and they all were welcoming. One in particular stood out - Reinhart. I didn't know it until after we exited the experience but they're the manager at the location. That doesn't surprise me because they were a role model for how the staff there should interact with the people attending the experience. They may all do that too truly, but I can only speak directly about this manager as we crossed paths with them so many times. There was a group of elementary-aged kiddos who were clearly having the time of their lives and part of that was due to Reinhart's interactions. The kids would treat them as a customer in their game of "Restaurant", ask them to be a member of their audience as they performed on the stage for them, invite them to walk around with them throughout the different areas of the experience, etc. They stayed in character and interacted with the kids on their level, never seeming bored or inconvenienced, and always game for whatever they wanted of them. They were definitely invested in the kids having the ultimate experience that day and I'm certain they did, in large part due to the way Reinhart enhanced the experience for them throughout their time there. When we left (shortly after the group of kids) they were already at the register helping out and being readily available for the customers in the gift shop. They definitely fulfill the spirit of the place and made it even more fun for us just by being around their great interactions with the kids. Cost: Worth it. 100%. To be clear, I am a pretty cheap person, which is why I had deferred taking my 2 kiddos to it even though they were interested. I didn't want to spend that much money on what I thought was a nice but fairly straightforward art experience but now that we truly understand what it is we will DEFINITELY be bringing them back, as well as our girl scout troop. We're also gonna have my kids upcoming birthday party here too, her request. My only regret is just buying one time tickets and not buying my hubby and I the membership, as it pays for itself after only 2 visits and we will definitely want to go to this and other Meow Wolfs later this summer. They have multiple locations across the US and each one has a different experience/storyline/exhibits, so it's worth going to any of them your near as they aren't all the same. We will likely get our kids the membership when we take them soon. There is an integrated snack shack in the experience and the prices aren't bad, better than a lot of places we've gone to in the past. You can't bring outside food and drink but they do have water stations to fill up an empty bottle at, if you bring one. To summarize - 10/10, highly recommend, will go again, cheapskate approved!!!

They also have doors that lead outside with plenty of places to sit, a large statue and big stairs that lead to the ground floor. This was a pleasant surprise and I enjoyed my time here.

While visiting Dallas we found this museum within a reasonable walking distance from our hotel…read more Happy to say this is a free museum so it's something you can do without breaking the bank. It's not a huge place but there are some fun things to check out. If you have kids there are art areas to draw and even a section where you're encouraged to touch the displays. Didn't take too long to go through this since we didn't want to stop and draw (we actually get to participate in art stuff on our own often enough). Staff were really friendly here as well. I would suggest giving this place at least a little of your time, especially since it doesn't cost anything.

Well, let's start with some honesty, shall we?…read more I did not read any reviews before coming, which is not my style. AT ALL. Truthfully speaking, though, art IS subjective. The great thing about Van Gough, is that he has pieces that have been seen, so if any of those don't resonate with you, don't go. Many comments focus on price. And it is not the cheapest activity in town, yet the same can be said if spending $ on a dinner for an "experience". Make sure you know it is an "experience" and not a movie. Read the signs when you go in, read the walls to understand a bit more of the history before taking in the experience and read the "whys" as to understand what pieces were used to create this concept. If you are going to spend the money, invest some time to the research. (I posted a tip with a link to help) It is moving if you absorb it in the mindset of what the artist may be experiencing at that time. If you don't know much about this artist, please DO go! Especially if you want to learn about art. Snippets of his history are on the walls by the snack table. As with an art gallery, prepare to stand, but there are few seats available. We had a date night package gifted to us, so we had a couch to sit on, but truly took another 30 minutes to stand and absorb views and perspectives from different angles. Take YOUR time. All three rooms do show the same reel with different views: Room 1 mildly immersive (if you have epilepsy, easily nauseated, etc. start here) Room 2 completely immersive art will be on the floor and cover your clothes. Room 3 abstract (reflective) immersive with mirrors Even though they forgot our drinks with our package (was an epic fail at the time, Ha!) I would recommend this to anyone, given that they are understanding about what this is and how to prepare to visit. Happy New Year, Yelpers.

I thought it was AMAZING. I am seeing the negative reviews and it makes me wonder what people were…read moreexpecting. I thought the promotional material I had seen beforehand, accurately described the experience. It is a half hour display set to music. They aren't showing you one painting at a time, instead have combined them in themes that brilliantly move to the music. But everything you want to see, is there. Sunflowers, Lilies, the Night Cafe, Starry Nights, the Olive Trees, The Church at Auveres, not to mention a collection of self portraits. Plus so much more. It really was so much more than I expected. Yes it is a bit pricy, but I walked away in awe. But the most wonderful thing about art is, it is all subjective and no opinion is wrong. If it does not speak to you, you're free to think it is dumb.
