Stumbled upon this place while I was exploring wynwood with my boyfriend. It felt like 100 degrees outside and this is ALL we wanted. The shop is very cute and the outdoor area is super cool with the murals and the comfy chairs! We sat and enjoyed our pops and cooled off. They have a lot of flavors and they're very unique! Wish I could try them all. We had the strawberry kiwi and the pineapple jalapeño. Both were amazing, although the jalapeño was too spicy for me (they put whole slices on it, too much in my opinion). I docked a star because they're a bit expensive for what they are. There are a LOT of popsicle places, and I've never paid that much for one. I did, because I was craving one, but geez. Lately, I've been exploring Wynwood quite often. Besides discovering numerous wall art, I love finding unique eats like Cielito Artisan Pops. I was actually introduced to their delicious popsicles at the Mini Get Away event and I bookmarked it on Yelp ever since. I finally visited the shop a couple of weeks ago and had such a pleasant experience. The store is not that big but there's enough seating inside and outside. There's lots of cute popsicle artwork on display created by local artists and also popsicle inspired trinkets for purchase. As I walked in, 3 ladies immediately greeted me and was enticed by the colorful popsicles inside the refrigerated display. There's so many different concoctions including mixed fruit, fruit with chocolate, coffee w/ banana, mascarpone cheese w/ jam, even a matcha latte, just to name a few. I was craving for something unusual so I opted for the Passion Fruit & Brownie. It was definitely something I've never had before and my taste buds were going crazy. It was a bit sour with a hint of sweet from the brownie. Had been craving an artisan paleta for a hot minute, and I'm so glad I was having dinner not too far from Cielito tonight. Ordered the tres leches paleta, which is filled with condensed milk and cake crumbs. Topped it off with white chocolate, caramel pearls, rose petals and coconut flakes. The flavor was AMAZING. So decadent and sweet. They have a lot of Instagrammable walls where you can pose for photos with your very beautiful creation. Service was speedy and attentive. After walking around Wynwood Wall, we made our walk around a block to see additional murals on the walls and to cool off. We were super pleased with our choice as we were debating between Taiyaki or Cielito. We can always get Taiyaki in NY but Cielito is a gem in Miami that you do not want to miss. Exterior is beautiful and artsy, all covered in black and white stripped art. Interior is clean and beautiful, most importantly full of photo ops with cute artsy popsicle art on one wall, the iconic gold wings, and a green area with hanging plants and natural light so pick your flavor. Popsicles were a bit pricey if you dip and cover it with toppings ($10+) but well worth it. There's various flavors to choose from and they have samples of some so don't be shy to ask. Initially I had my eyes set on Mascarpone with Blueberry (too bad I read Jonathan T's review afterwards), but I ended with chocolate with dulce covered in dark chocolate with coconut, organic sprinkles, and rose petals. How fancy are these toppings?! Not only was my popsicle beautiful, it was delicious! You can tell from my other reviews I love the creamy popsicles and this was beyond perfect. It was milky, smooth, chocolatey, caramely (dulce), and had texture and added flavors with the fancy toppings. On top of it, the popsicle didn't melt fast, which was ideal since it took me a good 5 minutes taking pictures haha. This is what I call a dream-sicle! Must visit spot! Side note, they have bathroom within the building outside of the ice cream shop, which you have to ask for the key for. My friend told me that it was clean but at the same time, a bit scary since the building is dark and looks abandoned so maybe go together with someone. Oh and the staff was very friendly and patient. Love coming to this place. I usually go with one of the fruit pops (passion fruit is amazing) but they have a wide variety of pops to choose from as well as an assortment of toppings. Staff is very friendly each time I have come. This is an artisanal popsicle shop so it could get pricey depending on the toppings you have but if you're in the wynwood neighborhood looking for a good dessert this is the place to check out. read more

While wandering around Wynwood, we were immediately drawn to this cute popsicle shop. Absolutely loved the popsicle frames, the plants all around, the angel wings photo op, and the teal lawn chairs sitting outside. The popsicles matched the store with its colorful, tasteful, and unique flavors to choose from. As creative as some of the popsicles sounded, I went for the Watermelon flavor ($4.50) for a refreshing taste since it was a hot day. We went outside onto the rocking lawn chairs to enjoy our popsicles. Even though it was good, it was difficult to lick my popsicle faster than it was melting! Halfway through, I had to give it up and toss the rest of my popsicle sadly. This spot is aesthetically appealing in all ways, but the popsicles itself was a-okay. They have a huge selection to pick from both sweet and fruity, the place also has indoor and outdoor seating. I ordered the The unicorn one, which was pretty cool and tasty!!! ( kind of sweet and a good photo op lol ). What really impressed me was the service, the young lady was super nice and talkative, she told me a little about the place, she asked me what flavors I usually liked, and made some recommendations. Good service these days is rare in most places. I was kind of having an off day and speaking to her cheered me up a bit because I saw she had a big smile on her face, and it made me wanna change my attitude. Being nice to people does go a long way it's not just a cliche. I made sure to tip her well as i always do with anyone who works in the food industry / customer service, it's a tough job and they definitely deserve to be compensated! This is a little artisan popsicle shop in Wynwood, family-run and Instagram-ready with its colorful creations and pop art decor. There are lots of good options, and it was tough to pick because everything looked so interesting. I ultimately settled on the Tres Leches topped with caramelized cocoa and coconut flakes, drizzled with some zigzagged liquefied chocolate (just enough for the toppings to stick). Highly recommend this combo. The popsicle itself was dense and sweet with custard inside, but the bitter cocoa was almost a necessary counterweight. I really wanted to rate this place higher, but it wasn't all that I was expecting and the customer service needs some work. A group of us walked in Sunday afternoon after 3pm, there were maybe two or three people in line ahead of us. We took a minute to look at the flavors behind the glass as well as the menu, topping options and prices. The young lady behind the counter was a bit moody, I don't expect everyone helping the public to be grinning from ear to ear, but asking "any questions", or a bit of a warm welcome would not hurt. I went in really wanting the pistachio paleta, but when they were yellow in stead of green I opted for the almond paleta with a dark chocolate coating. I was expecting for the ice cream attendant to ask if I wanted toppings or anything else but she quickly handed me the paleta and said next...so I proceeded to the cashier. The paleta was very creamy and the chocolate coating made for a great pairing, but I was a little disappointed the almond flavored was masked by chocolate. It's difficult to explain the texture because the pop is richer and creamier than regular ice cream, but easier to bite through as it's more dense. It is very filling, but not as heavy as Cold Stone. The store decor is very cute, very instagram friendly walls inside and out, with what seem like handmade stuffed animals, shoes, and purses for sale (at a hefty price). The complimentary water behind the cashier is great, and truly needed. I believe the shop has been open for about 5 months, but they may wish to consider selling bottled water for post artisan pop consumption. read more

They clearly mark dietary restrictions and which ones are recommended as is and which they say should be dipped and have toppings. I had mango lassi, a flavor they have this month. I loved it. The shop is lovely and inviting with a quirky (not in an obnoxious way) decor. I wasn't sure what to pick because everything looked so delicious. Luckily the staff is so helpful and patiently went over my options. I couldn't decide if I wanted something refreshing or creamy so I opted for a combination of the two. The raspberry and key lime pop drizzled with dark chocolate and covered with pistachios, mint chips and rose petals. It was refreshing and the flavors came together beautifully. A wonderful little place! I stopped in with a friend after walking around the Wynwood Walls. Their artisan pops are delicious and really pretty. It was a great way to refresh and cool off after spending the day in the sun. I had the mermaid pop (vanilla pop with chocolate and fondant tail), and my friend had a passionfruit pop with chocolate. Both were great! They have soooo many different flavors and options, and are also accommodating of allergies, vegans, gluten sensitivities, etc., so there's really something for everyone! Touring the Wynwood area on a super hot day, Cielito was the perfect place to stop for a cold treat and a really wonderful service experience! The shop is small, super well-decorated, and has some really cute seating that's perfect for a quick pit stop between your other plans in the area. I ordered the strawberry-kiwi popsicle and it was extremely refreshing and a perfect balance of tangy and sweet. It tasted super natural, and was a much needed break from the Miami sun. There was a super wide variety of flavors to select from. If you're looking for something refreshing, try a water-based fruity pop! If you're feeling adventurous, try pineapple jalapeno! If you're craving chocolate, get a dairy based pop dipped in chocolate! There are so many options!!! The best part about the experience (aside from the popsicles) was the service. As we walked in from the heat, they offered us water. The servers were incredible accommodating and answered any and all of our questions. They were also incredibly personable and we had a fun conversation about things to do in the area and my own hometown. We stayed for over half an hour and had a wonderful time. Cielito's Mascarpone with Blueberry = the best popsicle on this beautiful, tasty-ass Earth. The only way you could not love this carefully crafted cold concoction is if you didn't have a tongue or a man named Mascarpone back-handed your mother across the face growing up or your favorite dog recently got buried alive by a mountain of blueberries. I almost cried tears of happiness, and then I had my friend, Blue A, take a shameless, stereotypical Instagram pic with me wedged in between their cleverly-placed golden wings on the wall across from the cashier. I'm basic AF, sometimes, and I hate it. This other-worldly dessert deserves its own emoji from Apple because the people at Cielito filled this phallic thing with goo-ey, sexy porn-hub-like blueberry jam. (FILLED. WITH. JAM. Y'ALL.) The vehicle? An ice cream consisting of the perfect ratio of sweet and creamy. Upon my first bite, I wanted to yell, "Motherf***a holy-$hit balls" in my terrible Samuel L. Jackson impersonation voice, but a mother was hosting a stupid birthday party, for one of the tikes part of her small pack of rambunctious children." I hate her. I hate that child, too. But MY party didn't stop, y'all. After I made love to the the Mascarpone with Blueberry, I returned for their Mamey, which apparently is slang for "cougar" in Spanish. (And I understand why.) Visited here on a warm Sunday afternoon and was not disappointed. Such a fun store!!! Very cute décor with pictures on the walls as well as popsicle art. They even sell these really artistic coasters. The store had endless options for popsicle flavors that you can eat alone or add toppings to like a chocolate dip, to nuts, sprinkles and chocolate chips. Bit of a line, but it did move fast and the staff was very efficient in getting everyone's order correct and quickly. There are ones with ice cream or frozen yogurt as well as real fruit selections. I am usually overwhelmed with too many choices, so I decided on the first fruity type one that caught my eye, and that wasn't a color since I was wearing a white shirt, lol. I went with the one that had an umbrella on it as it seemed a perfect fit for the mood I was in. It was coconut/pineapple pop. Top half was coconut separated with shredded coconut chunks and the bottom half was pineapple. It was so refreshing and tasty, as if I should be sitting on a beach under an umbrella somewhere while enjoying it. :) Great first time experience, and with summer just around the corner, I plan on returning for some more of their refreshing popsicles. Well, well, well. I can barely believe I cheated on my dependable and faithful popsicle store, but there I was, after an afternoon in Wynwood, looking at Cielito asking myself, should I do this? Just going in, lust takes over, all these new flavors, all the color, the pupsicles... Yes! Cielito also likes pets. I don't have one, but I like that in a place. But I digress. I saw the avocado paleta and I knew it was something I hadn't tried before. They could tone down the sweetness a bit, but overall it was a pretty good introduction. I got the courage to ask for a second one. This time it was a red hot chile-filled chocolate and almonds paleta. I went deep in on it, and it was just an explosion of flavor. Then it was time to meet the family: Cielito, as the gentleman there informed us, is a family enterprise, the son in law was the guy that served us the popsicles, the daughter was the cashier, and he manages the place. They are all really nice and provide an excellent service, give you time to chose among aaaaalllll the options, no hurry, and are always willing to explain and suggest. As I said, they have a couple of options for your dog, and a few that go from the fully vegan, to the non dairy, gluten-free and such. They also have a sign that claims the use no gmos, preservatives, artificial flavors or high fructose corn syrup, if you're picky about that. I am not, but these popsicles were great, so they're doing something right. Cielito also has three types of human paletas: the regular ($4.50), the fancy ($5.90), and the heavenly ($7.50). Then you have the toppings and the dips to choose... it's not cheap, but it's worth it. The store also sells some stuff, like cups and... I don't know, coasters?... but the stars are the popsicles... I ate mine with no dips or toppings and I was happy (they have little notes with suggestions as to which to dip, which to eat plain). I'm planning on returning, that's for sure. What a crazy awesome idea for a store! They only serve ice pops here. Now the variation in pops is what makes this place so cool. You can choose a pre-made pop (strawberry chocolate, kiwi strawberry, etc.) or you can get a plain flavored one (vanilla, chocolate, etc.) and add toppings (fudge, nuts, etc.).
