What a fun way to get interactive with your food. Cielito is located in Wynwood which on its own is always a fun afternoon walking around and checking out all of the graffiti. The shop gets right in on the fun with cool decorations inside the store (and out!). They were so nice to offer little bite-size samples of some of their popular pops. I ended up with a pecan pop, added white and dark chocolate and marshmallows which they torched in front of me. There are tons of other innovative and delicious looking toppings to choose from. Price is fair for the artisan factor and rent but on the high side compared to a typical popsicle. But you are getting a real treat and therefore I won't hesitate to return! read more

In the gourmet popsicle game, honestly I was not impressed with this place! If you order a pop here, I'd stay away from the toppings - completely not worth it, and made my popsicle twice as expensive (almost $9). I got the banana dulce de leche pop, dipped in dark chocolate and toasted coconut flakes. The chocolate was very thick, the server poured a mountain of coconut flakes on it, and then more drizzles of chocolate on top of that... it was just too much. Not elegant at all, which did not reflect the store's artistic "Wynwoody" vibe. I peeled off the chocolate and just ate the plain banana dulce de leche, which was great by itself. This place is awesome! We saw a couple walking around Wynwood with some of Cieltio's goodies and had to figure out where they came from. They have a full range of options of (there have to be at least 30 different kinds) both dairy and water based pops. You choose your flavor, and then can coat it in white or milk chocolate and add toppings. We decided to grab a raspberry kiwi as is and after how yummy that was, I'm sure you could pick any of them without extra toppings and be satisfied. There is a nice indoor seating area if it's too hot to venture back outside right away, or you could step right outside next door where they have a few seats. Cielito "little heaven" is truly a gem in Wynwood. We spoke to the owner Ivan- he walked us through the different options and their process in creating the ice cream. He and his wife Sindy own the place. From the moment we walked in, we were swept off our feet. The decor and accents were just beautiful! There was a huge variety of ice cream pops- from creamy to fruity and every variety of flavor in between. We tried the passion fruit and the guava with cheese (creamy). Guava with cheese is there most popular flavor... it was INCREDIBLE. I think the best ice cream I've ever had in my life. A lot of places claim that their ice cream is homemade, which doesn't necessarily mean the ice cream base is homemade but the add-ins, flavoring is homemade- Cielito makes everything homemade! From the ice cream base to the fresh fruit fillings, this place does it right. I will totally be back when I visit Miami again. This place is a place you must visit when coming to Miami! When you go to a place to have an "artisan pop" you expect a better service. Pops are nothing out of this world, and you have to pay extra for any topping you add to it ??? I've always wondered what was going on in that funky striped building in Wynwood! I started following the place on their Instagram account and their photos had my mouth watering until I had to come try these babies for myself. The aesthetics of this place are very "ig photo worthy", they have cute popsicle displays designed by local artists and lots of greenery hanging around which gives it a nice vibe. Despite it being a popsicle place you actually can try some of the flavors. I tried the avocado, which I may not have ordered except; it became one of my faves. For my visit, I had the pineapple jalapeño, (which I had already preordered in my brain weeks ago). It was cool.... different... only downside was it melted super fast! Luckily, they have take home options so I didn't have to choose just one. I took home some tamarind, guanábana, avocado and dulce de leche with brownie pops. They pack them with dry ice so they are safe to make it home. It was nice to share with family who may have not have had the chance to try these special treats. Almost too pretty to eat but delicious paletas! I love that they have so many different options and unique flavors. I had the corozo and the hibiscus flower with dragonfruit. The chocolate drizzle is a perfect complement to some of the more tart fruit flavors. Everything is all-natural and they use quality ingredients so it's healthy (and I don't have to feel guilty!).
