I've watched the renovations of the establishment from an amish furniture store to a Mexican restaurant. While this restaurant original location was near Menards. I had never been there. I mention this, because I was stunned that experience restauranter could open a new location with so many things wrong. When I called and asked if I could make a reservation, the person who answered didn't know, then someone nearby said yes, table for 4 reserved for 6:15pm on Friday. When we pulled into the parking lot there were several busses and smaller transportation vehicles taking much of the parking spaces. We saw a number of people leaving the building with bags and take away meals. We entered in the grocery/meat market entrance where the place was so packed with people in line to make purchases. We made our way thru the mass of people to the very small dining area. All the tables but 2 were filled with diners. We went to our table. We were given a bowl of tortilla chips and small dish of the oddest salsa. When the waitress came, we order soda pops, there's no alcohol, melted cheese with chorizo and more tortilla chips, and requested the Al pastor pork quesadilla, and since neither came with it sides of rice and beans. Stressing that we'd like it as fast as posdible, as one of our diners was really hungry. 25 minutes later the melted cheese appetizer was served, but no plates or utensils, and we asked where the quesadilla was, another 20 minutes later, finally the quesidilla came...still no utensils or plates, we asked about the rice and beans....5 minutes later really cold beans and rice handed to me...I informed the waitress of this, and she just looked perplexed...I asked for it to be warmed up....another 10 minutes rice and beans are back, not all that warm. We sat around waiting for our bill. When we finally caught the waitress attention she then informs us to pay at the cashier without a bill to take up. Weird. So, I had to wait in a long line of people ordering food to go so I could pay our bill. The food wasn't that good, but it could be due to how long it waited to be served from kitchen. On this Friday evening it was clear the establishment's priority was to serve the numerous people who came by the busses. Perhaps it would be better experience if the place only did a carry out service, al9ng with their grocery store. read more

Yelp has the hours of operation wrong. I had shrimp fajitas and my wife had the enchiladas. The food was amazing. So was the service. Our waitress was Brenda and she was professional, friendly, helpful and a delight. They got busy for a Thursday lunch so obviously the word has gotten out locally. We had the Flan for dessert. The food was excellent...some of the best I've tasted! Split a trio of tacos (steak, chicken & ground beef....all superb. Also order the chicken fajitas which were cooked perfectly! Very generous portions and friendly staff. The restaraunt and Mercado were spotless! This will definately be on my frequently visited places for a good meal. read more

Tried this place out last night and wish I hadn't. Service was slow, tables crowded together in a small area. I was served a wet burrito swimming in some kind of watery orange colored sauce, that made the whole shell soggy on the bottom. It was packed with flavorless white rice and hard chunks of tomatoes. I asked for no beans and I was doing a surgical removal of the beans packed in there too. The server said "sorry" and walked away. Not much flavor at all in the whole thing. We were the last ones to leave, the staff was putting chairs on tables, sweeping all around us. Tables sprayed with Lysol foam cleaner in close proximity to where we were still eating. This place is horrible, I will not be back. Yuck. If I don't miss my guess, I think these burritos are purchased frozen and just reheated. read more

As a Hispanic, this place is an embarrassment. They have no knowledge on how to run a 'restaurant' if you could even call it that. The food came out minutes apart from each other because we had to keep reminding the waiter what we had ordered. This place just put me in a bad mood. read more

Went tonight for the first time. I had pork, shrimp And salmon tacos and my husband had steak and pork burrito. The pork is so delicious, highly recommend any of the pork dishes! The shrimp ceviche was excellent as well. Look forward to going back and trying more from the menu. read more

Crazy high prices for Mexican food. To get 2 enchiladas cheese on it is $17 is absolutely insane.

First of all, no complimentary sala or chips. Overpriced bland guacamole with absolutely no taste. The wet burritos were also bland with no taste. We thought about leaving when we got there noticing not one costumer. The meat was low quality chewy meat, "hopefully actual meat"...Overall the worst Mexican food I've ever had, it was terrible. read more

This place was pretty terrible. Friendly staff however, and they didn't charge me for the food I refused to eat. So they were fair. I had the tamales. They came out barely warm and super dry. The salsa is terrible. I saw the bad reviews and decided to give it shot anyway and literally left without eating what they served. Even the rice and beans weren't hot. I could see this place being sued someday. The little food store attached is actually very cool and has some oddball things you can't find most places. I'd really question how the meat is stored and cared for after having eaten in the restaurant. Let this place vanish into oblivion as it should. read more

I have been here many times and I'm never disappointed they have amazing food with lots of great flavors. They're serving is great and have super nice staff members I definitely recommend this restaurant to anyone it is a great place for family reunions and even team dinners! read more

First time here We watched as it was being built and waited patiently for them to open. We were a bit shocked to see they had no waitress and we had to order at a window and they brought it to us with paper plates and plastic silverware. We ordered tacos and nachos they were fabulous so authentic. We look forward to going again soon. The gal who did wait on us was named Sammy she was the most wonderful personable gal. This was our second time here, previously here 6 months ago. The menu has changed, less options and no ceviche. They don't have wait staff anymore, so you need to order at the window and they will bring it out in take out containers. We sat out on the deck, because a huge party was inside and it was noisy. The deck could be nice, but not every high top table had chairs to go with it. My husband kept going in and checking to see if our order was ready, and 45 minutes later we got served the other tables food that arrived 15 ago. They had given our food to the large party's table, who by now was leaving. They apologized and remade our food, with nothing extra added in or discounted. We took the shrimp fajitas and trio tacos home to eat and were underwhelmed at the flavor. Bummed, won't bother trying again. read more

We arrived at 6:40 on Friday evening. The dining room was half full, and it smelled amazing. So we were pumped....we were told to have a seat any where and they'd be right with us. Before anyone came to our table several other parties came in and filled up the restaurant. The waitress started her rounds to take orders, but served the newest arrivals first. We still had no menus so my husband had to get them. We order guacamole for an appetizer along with 5 main dishes. We got our chips and salsa rather quickly. The waitress was pleasant, even joked around with us. Shortly after we had sat down a couple of buses pulled up and around 50-60 people came into the restaurant. This is where it went down hill...no guacamole ever came, we asked twice for it, and kept being told they were still making it ‍ my sons fajitas came out...just the meat. 10 minutes later she brought the rice and beans...still no tortillas or silverware. We had to ask again and we got tortillas and silverware, no plate. My son was done eating his fajitas and we got another main dish. My daughter was about done when we got another main dish. My husband was half way through his when the last two dishes came. It was a mess, they had 2 servers running around and couldn't keep up. The waitress was nice, but couldn't remember to bring anything we had asked for, we ended up refilling our own drinks and going to the window to get what we needed. We weren't sure how to pay since we never received a bill, my husband finally went up to the take out window and asked to pay...we never got the guacamole, not sure why since we kept being told they were making it. The grocery store was packed as well when we left. That's $75 for a really frustrating experience. We don't go out to eat often since everything is so expensive, so it's a HUGE disappointment when we do and it's a disaster. DO NOT EAT HERE!
