Well the crew from LVL has had our house for two and a half months - it was a transformation from the basement to the roof. It is beautiful. The attention to detail, the quality of the work- it is unbeatable. They put in a new French drain system and properly sealed the entire basement, creating additional living space for our teen girls.They replaced all the uneven floors and made the entire home not only much more functional- but breathtakingly gorgeous. The problem is then the left the house unfinished, never completing it. Six months later- their electrical work caused a house fire. Repeated attempts to rectify the issues failed until the owner of LaVillaLux just stopped talking to us altogether. Not the best way to do business. Really sad at the outcome.

The Bridge City Team provided the required documentation for HOA and helped us get through the approval process within 24 hours (after I sent the request for HOA approval to the wrong email and wasted over a week and a half). My deck seems to be more substantial, stronger and better looking than those in surrounding townhomes. The Bridge City Team even helped us regrade the back yard, which had been a stony mess as with many new construction builds. For phase II of the build, the Bridge City Team will be building a stamped concrete patio walkout under the deck, retaining wall planters at the side of the townhome as well as a gabled roof above the deck. I contacted Reeves and Sons to replace my roof. It was completed in July of 2023. The first leak…read morehappened 4 months after completion. The second leak 2 months later. The most recent leak happened 9/31/2024. The shingles and starter are supposed to overhang the end of the roof by 1/4" to 3/4" (see second photo). I notified Reeves and sons and expressed my concern. He committed to performing the repair in May of this year. The first photo is another job that I contracted to Reeves. The job was to include removing a set of stairs, replace the handrail, and haul away all debris, at the request of my elderly uncle. The first photo shows that the stairs have been removed. The handrail has not been replaced and is very dangerous for a 78 year old widow. In fact the only real barrier that was there was removed by Reeves. I have since contacted them on 38 different occasions to make things right. They committed to fix the problems each time. I will not be calling Reeves and Sons back for additional work. I have also recommended them to others. That will never happen again.
