The special guy working there yelled and cursed at me when I asked him to match the price everywhere usually charges for a vape. He told me to get the F out and never come back... ok, no problem ... I felt bad for him, but I didn't do anything to deserve being yelled or cursed at. It sucks that I'm writing this or holding this against the business, I think it's great that you're giving an opportunity to someone with special needs, but he's clearly not stable enough to be working a cigar lounge solo. Had dinner down the street and was in the mood for an evening cigar, quickly searched the closest cigar shop, and am very glad I found this place. Was welcomed when we came in and I began looking through their great selection. Few minutes later, George(I hope I got his name right) came in and asked if I needed help. Told him my preferences and also that I'm just getting into cigars so he pointed me to certain ones after I told him my price point. Really appreciative of his time and help, it was very welcoming to this cigar community. Just moved to the area and I've been trying to figure out where the best place to get my cigarettes would be. See, I'm equidistant between two gas stations, two smoke shops, and a 7-11 so I have some choices. The Cigar House happens to be the most convenient since it's on my walk to Vons and due to my indecisive nature, I buy groceries nearly every day since I only decide on what I would like for dinner hours beforehand. But sometimes it's not hard for me to make a decision. This is one of those times. This is the kind of shop that I would walk further to, despite any closer options. I'm a longtime cigarette smoker. My girlfriend is one as well (lucky me, right?) If there's one thing I've learned about smoking is that cigars are dangerous. Not because of any health concerns but because they smell amazing, especially in comparison to cigarettes. Now, I'm writing this in this pre-apocalyptic, COVID ruled world where I am forced to wear a mask wherever I go. I'm constantly breathing in the smell of the fabric, the CO2 and the sweat wherever I go... except here. The moment I walk into this showroom of all things tobacco with beautiful brown leather chairs, I'm greeted with a friendly hello (and probably a smile? Hard to tell with the masks) and then the sheer aromatic strength of a frequently present community of cigar aficionados overtakes me and for as long as I'm in that store, I forget I'm wearing one of these damn masks. BLOWN AWAY! I was in the valley visiting a friend and drove by when the big "CIGAR HOUSE" sign caught my eye. I went in and was amazed. I have never been to another cigar shop that had such an extensive collection for sale. Anything I've ever heard about, they had. Specifically I had been chasing the Padron 1926 #35s - not only did he have them, he had the whole line - PLUS the 1964s. The owner (forgot to catch his name!) also recommended the Punch Rare Corojo - an amazing little bargain-priced gem I hadn't experienced before.
