Small shop with a head shop for an entrance. They have a smaller humidor but carry the big names so you will find something. The staff was very friendly and helpful. I had reached out to Rony about planning a "surprise" birthday party for my husband back in May. He responded quickly, answered all my questions and worked with me on over the next several weeks as we set a date and expectations. The day of the party, Rony was not around but had spoke with his manager, JT, about our plans. JT took care of my husband and his friends, providing great cigar suggestions based on their preferences. They stayed a few hours, smoking a couple of cigars and thoroughly enjoyed themselves. 6 stars! I've been smoking cigars since the late 90s, but only once or twice a year on average. So the reality is that I'm a total rookie. I went in thinking I wanted a hygrometer. But instead of just picking one out of the cabinet and ringing it up, the guy running the shop engaged me in a conversation about my humidor, my smoking habits (how often, how premium my cigars are, etc). Ultimately, he said that he'd sell me one if I really wanted it, but explained why it wouldn't be beneficial to me specifically. Then he talked about alternatives to keeping good humidity in my small humidor. I ended up buying a lighter just to give him some business. But then figured that while I was there, I might as well pick up a new cigar. So in we went into their humidor. He then proceeded to pick out recommendations based on what I've had before and explained his personal likes for each cigar he pointed out to me. This business is a class act. I rarely write Yelp reviews. I save them for the worst of the worst, or the best of the best. This is definitely the best of the best. read more

Zero Stars for this spot! I walked up to the counter yesterday and waited,and waited and waited. Finally, the man in the back of the store spotted me. While he took his sweet time sashaying up to the counter, another customer came off the street and barged right in front of me and asked for a pack of cigarettes. Zero stars for the clerk NOT insisting on helping me first, when he clearly saw the man barge in front of me. Common courtesy is out the door on the sidewalk, not inside this store. I should have known from his lack of interest at being at the cash register in the first place. I walked out without spending a dime. No class. read more

The first time I came to this store my boyfriend and I were looking to get some cigars to enjoy. Neither of us knew anything about cigars at all. Rony (the owner) was absolutely inviting, friendly, and enthusiastic about helping us find the perfect cigars. His suggestions and recommendations are always spot on, and as we became more experienced smokers, he would introduce us to different kinds of cigars. Not only is Rony totally awesome, but all his customers that you'll often find relaxing in the nice lounge area of the store are super friendly and happy to welcome new smokers into the shop. He also has a beautiful glass collection to choose from, and we've bought more then a few pieces that we are very happy with. Rony will always do what it takes to make sure you leave happy. He's given me free cigar samples, helped fix a butane lighter on the fritz, (offering to replace it for free if he couldn't get it to work) given very generous discounts to me, and friends of mine that I've brought into the shop... hes great. I'm not an experienced enough smoker to really talk about cigar variety and whatnot (I do think there is a very nice variety of smokables and pieces), but I can say that Rony runs an excellent business and really knows how to treat his customers. Great little cigar shop on a really cool street full of shops, bars and restaurants in San Carlos. The owner, Rony, is very welcoming and knowlegable of his products. Awesome place to watch a sporting event in a big leather chair with some great folks. Nice selection of humidors, etc. Very social, very casual. Great shop. They go out of their way to help you. I brought in a $70 lighter that I had purchased online to see if they could help me to get it to work better. They couldn't fix it but volunteered to use their contacts to have it replaced at no charge. I never in a million years would have asked for such a thing but did they ever come through. Stop in for the first time today (San Francisco is home)...A wonderful surprise...One of the top 3 or 4 cigar selections in the bay area....and priced fairly....Had a nice chat with Ron...I was amazed with some of his hard to find labels....Will be back to buy more and use his lounge area for sure...I drive across country twice a year to Ohio on different routes (Grandchildren) and have visited many cigar shops... this one is high on the list..not the biggest but up there in cigar labels...Can't go wrong! read more

So I hate to sound like a broken record along with the other reviews here but Ronnie had to move his store recently and boy did he do it right.The new place is fantastic ,it's small but homie , great Lounge in the back much better humidor. Ronnie's a good man he has no problem taking his time talking with his customers explaining to them what he likes and what you might like. If your a newbie he will explain the difference to you between Maduro and a light wrap. it's just a great place and fair prices. Oh and a word about the guys in the back. Stop and say hi , they will gladly slide over and give you a seat Rodney and the guys back there are pretty cool. read more

Don't buy here thinking you'll EVER get your money back if your not satisfied. My wife bought a little pipe and a cigar for me and was charged $53. Chris,the salesman said to bring it back if she was't satisfied. I tried to do that the next day and was told NO REFUNDS.
