Absolutely amazing! If I could give this place 6 stars, I would. Every interaction with staff was great and service was attentive. We were on our way to Fresno from San Francisco and stopped here for dinner. We sat outside and the ambiance was very quiet and cozy. The food was fantastic! We had the Dolmathes as appetizer and then the Chicken Souvlaki and Gyro Plate as entree. We also had a cappuccino which was super tasty as well. Wonderful experience, would absolutely come back.

My wife and I dropped by Pylos for a late lunch. We shared a tasty lamb gyro with fries and a juicy seafood pita with a salad and enjoyed both. We sat in the outside patio which was bright and comfortable with a view of the farmers market since it was Sunday. The service was professional and efficient. I would return again if I was in the area for an affordable, tasty meal.

My friends and I went for some apps and drinks during the San Carlos wine fest. We were seated on the patio right away & our server was very attentive. The patio seating is nice because it's mostly covered & shaded. We tried the falafel meze appetizer, the falafel was cooked perfectly- crisp on the outside & soft and moist on the inside. The tahini & hummus dips were a great complement to the falafel. We also had the octopus. The octopus was flavorful and very tender, but as you can see in the photo the portion was very small, not even a whole tail. The cocktails were great & everything was a reasonable price! I would definitely come back to try more things on their menu!

Walked in for a late lunch. Prices at lunch were very reasonable. Food was all delicious, portions were generous and service was fast and friendly. The dip sampler was such a bargain!

This is review is based on take out service. Ordering online was easy through their website. Pick up was easy and smooth. They have indoor and outdoor dining service. I appreciated that the server held the bag from the bottom and not just the top from the handles in presenting the take out bag to us. This was a very enjoyable and delicious meal at home. The containers held the food well enough upon arrival home though we had to transfer the gemista to a dish immediately. The colors and flavors of the food certainly added to the overall deliciousness of the meal. The fries were nice and crisp with good cheese flavor that you didn't need any ketchup. The zucchini cakes were so delicious with the dill sauce. The Gemista was beautiful to eat. Will look forward to another meal here again.

Food was so delicious! I got the Mediterranean Gnocchi and I've tried the Grilled Eggplant Pita Wrap last visit. Lots of vegetarian options! I'm surprised it wasn't very packed on a Sunday afternoon. We came two weekends in a row! Highly recommend this place for great food.

Heard good things about gluten free options here. The first plate had gyro meat with rice, a fresh cucumber and tomato salad, and tzatziki on top. The meat was flavorful and not dry at all...good balance with the cool, creamy tzatziki. Salad was super fresh, and the rice was soft and just sticky enough to scoop easily. The second plate had two beef skewers with grilled veggies, rice, and a side of tzatziki again. The meat was nicely grilled, had a good char, and was still juicy. Veggies were cooked well...not too soft, still had a bit of crunch. Lemon on the side gave it a nice little zing. Also had some fries on the side...crispy, salty, and hit the spot. All around solid meal. Good portions, good flavors, and everything looked and tasted fresh. Would definitely go back.

We had a lovely meal here! Started with the refreshing Pylos salad. The beyti, which was a rich and savory beef and lamb dish, was our favorite entree. The moussaka, which was a layered eggplant and zuchini dish, was also good. For dessert, we got the chocolate cake and lemon sorbet, and both were very flavorful and decadent. There weren't many people there, so it was a bit quiet, but service was fast!

We dropped in a little before 8pm to order to-go food on Friday. We ordered a glass of red wine at the bar while we waited for the food. We ordered the Gyros, moussaka, and lamb shank. The moussaka and lamb shank was to die for! Lamb shank was so tender and juicy. Fall off the bone. Moussaka was similar to a lasagna but vegetarian. Juicy and soft. The Gyros was a bit too salty for us. The salad that came with the gyros helped tone down the salt.

Went during a weekday for dinner and the place was empty. Service was fast. Food was ok. Similar menu options as other Mediterranean restaurants. Wasn't a fan of the orzo (kind of bland). Lamb meat was very tender and fish was soft.

One of my favorite things about this winery is the table-side tasting experience, it feels so much more relaxed and elevated compared to the traditional tasting bar setup. You can truly sit back, take your time, and enjoy the wines at your own pace. The wines themselves are fantastic, and I appreciate the variety they offer. It's clear there's a lot of care and quality behind every pour. I also love that they have food available, which makes it easy to turn a tasting into a full experience. Their patio is another huge plus--spacious, inviting, and dog-friendly, which is perfect for me. Bringing my dog, Chanel along makes the experience even better. On top of all that, the service is always warm, attentive, and welcoming. You really feel taken care of here. We got the dip trio which was light and refreshing. Lamb and beef meatballs were ok, shrimp was very good, and grilled artichoke had a strong smoky from the grill: different, but in a good way. The portions were a bit small, so we ordered the seafood paella. The seafood paella came with a full on lobster tail on the side. I found the clams and mussels a bit on the fishy side. All in all, it was ok. Including tax and tip, over $200 for the three of us. Expensive for just "ok" food.

We ordered the ceviche ($21), papas bravas ($11), kale salad ($17), salmon ($35), and seafood pasta ($34). The ceviche was fresh and I really liked the citrusy notes (it was quite tropical and I thought it was possibly passionfruit?). The papas bravas was a decent sized serving and came with an addictive sauce. The kale salad came with a piece of fried feta and the only fault I found with it... was that I wanted more fried feta bits! Salmon was cooked well, and I liked the accompanying veggies - seemed like a very healthy Mediterranean dish. The seafood pasta was also very good. Husband said the fish in his dish was cooked even better than mine. Lastly, they offered us a whole complimentary dessert. We were already beyond stuffed at that point, but who are we to turn down a coconut creme brulee? Another review said they couldn't taste the coconut, but it's definitely there. The octopus starter and the lamb chops stood out to me. The only negative I felt were the prices. We landed up spending about $250 for three. One thing that stood out during this visit was the incredible teamwork. Every employee was constantly moving, helping guests, and supporting one another. At one point, a server who wasn't even ours noticed that the sun had shifted and was shining directly in my face. She immediately offered to move us to a different table, which we really appreciated. We also noticed the manager walking the dining room, checking in with guests and making sure everything was going well. It was refreshing to see such a hands-on approach. Our appetizers took a little longer than expected, which honestly didn't bother us--we hadn't even noticed. But the manager did. He came over to sincerely apologize, brought us an additional appetizer, and even insisted on taking care of part of our bill. It was such a thoughtful gesture. When the food arrived, it was excellent, just as we've come to expect. Our waiter was fantastic as well. The customer service here is every bit as impressive as the food. We'll definitely continue coming back. Town consistently delivers an outstanding dining experience, and we highly recommend it.

I also left an 18% tip because I believed the service deserved it. After lunch, we decided to order dessert. The dessert came to $14.62, and I paid with a $20 bill. The server returned only $5 in change. My correct change should have been $5.38. What bothered me wasn't the 38 cents--it was the fact that she knowingly kept it without saying a word. When I asked about the missing change, she admitted she knew it wasn't correct but didn't mention it because she didn't have coins. She then said that "if I wanted," she could go upstairs to get the change. She also told me, "We usually round up." I responded that if the restaurant "usually rounds up," then I should have received $6, not $5. Her answer was simply, "No, $5." A restaurant doesn't get to decide to keep part of a customer's change without asking first. That's not "rounding up"--it's short-changing a customer. Whether it's 38 cents or $38, the amount isn't the point. The point is honesty, integrity, and respect. If you don't have the correct change, you communicate that to the customer and let them decide, not make the decision for them. It's disappointing that after spending over $400, leaving an 18% tip, and choosing to order more food, our visit ended with an interaction that showed such poor judgment and lack of professionalism. The food was great, but this experience left a bad taste in our mouths.

The host was friendly when we arrived, and our waiter was excellent. He was personable, knowledgeable, and gave some really solid recommendations. He suggested the Belle Glos Pinot Noir and the seafood stew, and both ended up being fantastic choices. The seafood stew was hands down my favorite part of the meal. It was loaded with shrimp, clams, mussels, calamari, salmon, and a half lobster tail. The seafood was fresh, the portion was generous, and the broth was absolutely incredible. I found myself wanting to soak up every last drop. My husband ordered the ribeye, and after stealing a few bites, I can see why he loved it.
