Your online service is also misleading in that I you can order anything but there may be an unannounced back order that you don't find out about until you are a month into waiting for your order. One side of customer service has no idea what is going on with the other and getting a human on the phone is near impossible. And when you do, they are in India or some other such call center. I had a really disappointing experience with one of the bartenders during my visit. I believe her name is Ivy. My group waited at the bar for quite a while without being acknowledged, even though the bartender clearly saw us. She seemed much more focused on flirting and chatting with one particular customer than actually serving the rest of the bar. It's frustrating when you're ready to order and willing to spend money, but can't get basic service or even a quick "I'll be right with you." I understand bars can get busy, but ignoring other guests while giving all your attention to one person is unprofessional. Hopefully management addresses this because the service we received definitely didn't match the atmosphere the place tries to promote. read more

Great place to have a cigar if you are north of Tampa off I-75. I love having the AC on inside, but the sides of the building open to the outside. It creates great airflow and zero smoky feeling. I've been going here since they opened. I used to go weekly and service was amazing. Same servers every week and they would make my drink as soon as I walked in the door. I've been going sporadically since service has declined. In my last three visits nobody ever asked if I wanted a drink. I spent an hour smoking a cigar and left. This crossed a serious boundary. Going out for a drink should be respectful these girls harass you with drinks for tips. Well, the general manager with the Harvard MBA (just kidding) came up with a great policy just before the holidays and they can't figure out why their holiday get together and parties were decreased or completely canceled. Well, let me let you in a secret. Right before the holiday Jose Junior, the genius general manager, decided that on the patio nobody could smoke a cigar anymore. Interesting enough many people who are married to cigar smokers smoke cigarettes so they canceled their parties and went to places like JR Outlet or any of the other great lounges for their parties as they wanted to enjoy themselves and celebrate. The amazing thing is that a location owned by $1 billion company can't figure out why their sales are in the toilet. Maybe they should ask the people who go there or used to go there. A trip to JR Outlet where 80% of the people there were patrons of Cigars Intl would be able to tell them. read more

I had high hopes for this place. My family gave me rave reviews about how great this place was. This couldn't be further from the truth. The customer service was absolutely terrible. I spent over $200 and the bald guy "helping" me, decided he didn't feel like closing up my zipper bag. Had I not noticed, I would've had $100 worth of cigars dried out by the time I got home. I will not be returning to cigars international. Take my advice and go to your local tobacco shop. You will experience much better service. This place sucks! read more

I was so stoked to hear that this place was opening up near us. Life has been made much easier and travel time cut down. The environment is relaxing allowing one to enjoy a fine stogie. What a great selection to choose from and excellent customer service from entire staff. I've been here at least once a month for the last year and have had a similar experience each time with no complaints. All of our family and friends that visit absolutely enjoy and always ask to stop in when they are in town. Friday night, about 9pm. Nice crowd, not packed but about 3/4 full. Bought an Oliva Serie V Melanio and sat outside for the first time. Last week for the first time, I sat at the bar. This time outside, the first thing I noticed was the fire pit was not lit. Ok, no biggie. It is Florida after all. As I sat smoking my cigar, I waited for someone to come take my drink order. And, I waited... And, I waited.... And, I WAITED. After about 3/4 of the cigar, it became very clear I was not going to get any help. So, I did what any disillusioned patron would do. I left. I had thought of making CI Lutz a weekly venture. I do go every Sunday and buy 4-6 cigars and go back home , but I really wanted to try the lounge. So, as I said last Friday was my 1st time and got good service. This time, none. My friends, I can stay at home and get the same service. So my husband and I spend thousands of dollars a year with CI and we're excited to see a lounge opening in our area. Well the cigars are great but the customer service is the absolute WORST SERVICE I HAVE EVER HAD IN LIFE! We went two days in a row & the waitress literally kept walking right past us as if we are not sitting there! Our supposed to be waitresses are all WAY too busy flirting with the 6 male customers & sitting around and not working to provide any service whatsoever! Bartender/supposed to be waitress Jessica is rude and exceptionally inattentive! We were not even offered glass of water and were COMPLETELY self serve fetching our own drinks from the bar both nights we went. It was not until the end of the 2nd night someone named Tina (whom I complained to) FINALLY offered us anything! It was then, that we finally got some customer service.
