Friendly owners & staff. Quick service & excellent coffee. They can customize a coffee for you if your looking for something special to drink. The pastries are fresh daily & are displayed on the front counter as you pay for coffee. I can easily past the time drinking coffee & smoking cigars on a nice sunny day outside the shop. It could be the perfect spot to work from your laptop & enjoy the day. If you smoke cigars check out their humidor for a variety of brands.

One of my favorite places on 5th. A nice cigar and beer to kick back, relax outside and catch up with friends. + =

Such a great and low key spot to have a cigar with a great cup of coffee, whether you're there to watch a game, catch up on some work, or just to people watch. Plenty of sidewalk seating, including a stand-up bar for those super busy evenings. While not a huge humidor or tap house, the selections are diverse and high quality. The understated vibe here though is what makes this place worth coming back to again and again!

Love this place. Amazing staff. The owners are on site working too. These guys do an amazing job with their drinks, cigar suggestions, very friendly to new cigar smokers. You'll see people here on the patio watching games on the outdoor tvs, people studying inside or working here as their office. PS, if you're Filipino or into ube/taro, highly recommend you get their Oo-Bae cold brew.

Oh unfortunately I didn't take more pictures because I was busy enjoying myself. Great friendly staff and casual comfortable and welcoming. The outdoor patio has ample shade if you want or soak in the sun. Amazing heat lamps if you're cold. I mean they work really well. Great place.

Cool little spot to enjoy a cigar and a wine or coffee. They don't have a huge selection but do have some quality smokes! Friendly service and a cool vibe!

Came down to Cigars On Fifth this afternoon as one of our stops to hit a few cigar lounges, needless to say we never left this place. We stayed till closing with the owner. We drank, we ate, we smoked, we talked for hours and had a great time. I was in the mood to try something different today. So we shared a flight of different coffees (my picks are the white mocha and hazelnut coffee), we shared Banana Bread, and eggwhite quiche, (which I have never had with egg whites) with bacon and spinach and was unbelievably fresh and tasty since all they're food is made fresh daily. We also had a rum infused coffee with SAKE! Amazing! My go to pairing has always been coffee and cigars. It just brings out the flavors of each other. Cigars On Fifth is Family owned and operated they provided the ambience of the essences of San Diego with home like patio seating for you to sit and smoke and drink coffee, beer, or wine. They gave us the royal treatment and greeted us with care and frequently checked on us, as drove nearly 2hrs. to get to San Diego and provided us with their excellent service, excellent hospitality, excellent cigar selection for the size of their location with indoor and outdoor patio seating. My only problem with them is that they're not close to home, but I will be going to San Diego more often during the summertime. It's must go to spot for all cigar aficionados. If my review helped you decide coming here, let me know. Wow, I just read my review, sorry it's a lil long, but can you blame me, it's that good!

What a great place to relax at the end of the day... service is phenomenal... wine is delicious and a great assortment of cigars.... Oh... it's also the quiet storm roasters and their coffee is roasted here on-site... delicious!!!

We were walk-ins, so seated at the bar but that was more than fine since we got to see all the actions as the dishes were being prepared. They recommend 4-6 dishes for 2 people. Wow. Just wow. My…read morebest friend had been raving about Wolf in the Woods for years, so she brought me here for my birthday. As two serious foodies, our expectations were high. This place exceeded every one of them. Nestled in a quiet residential neighborhood, Wolf in the Woods feels like a hidden European café you'd stumble upon while traveling. Sitting outside beneath the umbrellas with a cocktail, watching the neighborhood stroll by. It felt like a little corner cafe in Paris. Then the food arrived. Every plate was beautifully presented, but the real magic was in the creativity of the flavors. The combinations were unexpected, yet every one worked. Every dish had me wondering how on earth someone came up with these pairings in the first place. The Sweet Corn & Piñon Soup deserves a standing ovation. We literally stopped talking after the first spoonful. Rich, savory, slightly sweet, comforting and completely unexpected all at the same time. Both of our eyes rolled back in our heads. The Beef Tataki completely surprised me. The outside had a delicate seared crust, the inside cut like butter, and the citrus pairing made me rethink what flavors belong together. And the mushroom and polenta dish? The mushrooms had an incredible texture--like savory little pieces of mushroom jerky. I would have happily bought a pound of them just to snack on. Every dish felt like it was taking me somewhere I'd never been before, yet somehow felt familiar at the same time. Wolf in the Woods creates an unforgettable experience.

This time around, it was just the 3 of us, to chat over some wine and apps. Had their April featured Pinot, which was amazing (had 2 glasses). It's good to keep in mind that they only sell their flatbreads on certain days and unfortunately, they didn't serve it when we went. So, instead we had the crostinis, which is perfect if you want a little bit of everything, but not sure what to get. My friend got the chicken Caesar wrap, and it was a lot bigger than expected. As far as the ambience, there's seating all around the bar that's located in the middle. So it's convenient to just walk up to the bar to place your order. Servers and bartenders were friendly and quick. Overall this is a great laid-back place for small or large groups.

It's a long-standing, family-owned restaurant (a San Diego favorite since 1961) with that old-school red-linen vibe, warm lighting, and a cozy patio that feels perfect for a date night or a celebratory dinner. We started strong with two martinis, then shared shrimp bisque, garlic bread, and a caprese salad. Every course came out hot, paced perfectly, and plated like they actually care. I ordered the cannelloni (comforty, rich, and exactly what I wanted), and he had the linguine with clams fresh, briny, and generous on the seafood. We finished with a double espresso, which was the perfect clean little mic-drop at the end. Service was impeccable attentive without hovering, friendly without being fake. The funniest part was actually finding the place. We kept looking at the Yelp photos of the exterior, and the logo made us think the restaurant was in a large standalone building. Our Tesla kept navigating us to the same location, but we couldn't find what we expected. On our second pass, FSD actually pulled us right in front of the entrance--even in a red zone for a brief moment--just so we could finally see the Starlite sign. It honestly felt like the car knew we weren't recognizing the place. It was such a funny experience that made FSD seem almost human. Once inside, we were blown away. The interior is absolutely top-notch--stylish, elegant, and full of character. The pistachio dessert and the chocolate mousse were pure heaven, rich, smooth, and beautifully presented. The hidden disco room with the waterfall is simply insane and adds such a unique vibe to the experience. Even the restrooms are thoughtfully designed and incredibly cool. Starlite isn't just a place for dessert--it's an experience from the moment you arrive until you leave.
