FINALLY!!!! We have closer location. Every time i crave for quesadilla, torta, burritos or nacho asada i always order from this place. You guys should try it. The Food tasted so fresh, they use good quality ingredients. My kids loves their breakfast burritos with their cinnamon flavor chips

I will not support an establishment that uses racist descriptions on its menu to reinforce harmful stereotypes against the Latino community. On DoorDash, their description for the California Burrito reads: "a lunch befitting a king or the hardest construction worker." By explicitly contrasting a "king" with a "construction worker" on a Mexican restaurant's menu, this description directly reinforces an outdated, harmful class stereotype that reduces Latino culture and spaces to manual labor. It acts as a racial microaggression, signaling that dignity belongs to "kings" while Latino culture is inherently tied to subordinate labor. What makes this worse is the complete lack of accountability. I emailed the company twice to quietly bring this to their attention. They completely ignored both messages, and the description still stands. Ignoring constructive feedback proves that management chooses to prioritize a demeaning punchline over cultural respect. It is deeply hypocritical to profit from Latino culinary culture while simultaneously caricaturing the people behind it. I refuse to fund a business that commercializes a culture while actively disrespecting the community that created it.

So good! Asada Burrito and Taco with Habanero and Hot sauce. DoorDash had a buy-one-get-one offer. I would definitely order from CMG again.

Steak Burrito ... 10/10. I order this at least 1 time a week lol

10/10 spot Steak is perfectly cooked & chips are fire! Wont regret. I will continue to order from this place for as long as they are in operation.

    California Burrito

DoorDashed the California burrito and this was probably the biggest burrito I ever had. They packed it to the max!! I also love that it comes with a charred jalapeño and freshly fried seasoned tortilla chips. So WORTH. Also, came with 2 salsas!

I recently came across this place after my wife, who is Mexican food connoisseur and chef, told me that I had to check this place out. It lived up to her height. Good quality, food, decent prices, and run by good people. I live in San Diego but every time I'm back in the area I'm gonna swing in and grab a bite!

Decent burrito for a good price, carne asada burrito with habañero and avocado sauces work well together. Comes with seasoned tortilla chips, highly recommend for decent food and a great deal! Habanero could be a little more spicy but no complaints otherwise.

Omg. I was skeptical about getting this place because it didn't have that many reviews, but this place was amazing! We got the Carne Asada burritos, and they were perfect. They came with salsa which was so good, and we got an avocado sauce as well. The portion was perfect and it also came with chips as well. I love this place! It's my go to for Mexican food from now on.

Taco Tuesday is always packed, but the staff does an impressive job keeping things moving. The process is simple--you get your ticket and the team serving the tacos does most of the heavy lifting. Even with the crowds, service has consistently been fast, efficient, and attentive. The food is very good, and the energy is always lively. My most recent visit was no different. Everything ran smoothly, the tacos were great, and our servers stayed on top of things throughout the meal. The only odd part of the evening happened as we were getting ready to leave. I stopped by the bar and asked the bartender for a cup of ice. He acknowledged me but never came back with it. While I was waiting, another guest next to me mentioned he was also having trouble getting service at the bar, while other customers appeared to be getting helped. I don't know the circumstances and don't want to make assumptions about why that happened, but it definitely felt strange. After waiting several minutes, I went back to my original server and she had the ice for me in about a minute, which reinforced my overall impression that the service team is generally very attentive. I don't like pretentious bartenders and I know their job is busy as heck. That again felt weird. Despite that one awkward interaction, the overall experience was excellent. Great tacos, a fun atmosphere, and a staff that usually does a fantastic job handling the Taco Tuesday rush. I'll definitely be back.

However this location was not a nice experience. And with this early evening out experience, it was the first time I have ever pondered that tipping culture may be outdated and obsolete. I have really received better service from Denny's and iHop. When this is supposed to be fine dining I do expect fine service with it too. The food: It was good, but I order the same thing at all locations, the lobster enchiladas. So thumbs up with the consistency at the California locations. I do think the Cabo location has a little extra twist of tasty. Drinks: I don't remember them being this lackluster at locations. The restaurant is so beautiful and has a nice ambiance to it. It makes you feel like you have traveled somewhere outside of downtown L.A. but that is where the magic ends. Our waitress felt very matter of fact with us. She wasn't outgoing and welcoming. I wanted to try something different and was going to ask her for a suggestion, but she really made me feel like she just wanted my order and don't bother her with anything else. When it was time to collect the plates from the table, it was weird. The men helping to clear the table never said anything like excuse me when reaching across us. I am only 5'3 so me being chest to table is pretty normal. One of them came too close for comfort to my chest when reaching across trying to clear the tables. Slow down and pay attention to where you are reaching. At the end of dinner, we never even looked at the dessert menu because at that point we were just ready to go. Upon departure, we had to stand and wait for our vehicles. All 3 of use drove in separate cars. So, we spent almost what we paid for meals in parking. Please Javier group, figure this location out or give it up to a restaurant who is going to deliver food and service as beautiful as the place itself.

Sweet And Spizy - Solid spot for some real deal Mexican flavors!…read more Came out here and ordered the chips and guac with sides, the birria tacos, and what looks like a trompo/al pastor bowl -- and honestly, no complaints. The chips and guac were fresh and generous. Loved having the little tray with lime wedges and pickled jalapeños on the side -- nice touch. The salsas they gave with it ranged from mild to smoky, something for everyone. The birria tacos were the highlight. Tortillas were fried up golden and crispy, stuffed with tender, well-seasoned shredded beef, topped with diced onion and cilantro. The consommé for dipping was rich and had good depth. These are the real thing. The al pastor/trompo bowl was loaded -- big chunks of marinated chicken, shredded lettuce, onion, cilantro, and drizzled with what tasted like a chipotle crema. A lot of food for the money. Outdoor seating had a chill vibe, casual and comfortable. If you're in the Pico area and want some legit street-style Mexican food, Sweet And Spizy delivers. He asked me if I wanted all three flavors and of course I agreed! The least favorite of the bunch was the chicken. The potato was really good and the softness of the potato balanced extremely well with the crunchiness of the taquito. Then the beef was the star of the show with the perfect flavor that paired extremely well with the crunchiness of the taquito. The lettuce, guacamole and sour cream is always a necessity with taquitos. As far as the hot sauces go, I normally go for a green sauce, but this place's red sauce was really solid, even if it makes you sweat a bit. The horchata here is pretty good too. I don't know how to tell the difference between rice or beans, so I would say that they're good here too, but I don't know how to judge these items that well. The service is pretty good. The ambiance is chill and cozy. Good place to get some taquitos for sure.

The rice and beans, on the other hand, were fairly bland by comparison. I also tried the al pastor tacos. They were decent, with tender meat that wasn't overly fatty, but pretty simple overall, mostly just meat and onions without anything particularly memorable.
