I've only had their tortas here which is the only reason I come here for. I like how they make their guacamole dip. It's not smashed like baby food, if that makes sense. It's also not salty, it's taste like fresh chunks. Their churros were freshly made. My boyfriend didn't like his tacos though. He didn't like how they cooked the meat and lacked flavor. I don't care too much for their rice but their refined beans are good. I just prefer rice from other places.

We recently catered Cilantro and had their taquiza come to a location for the party. The food was delicious, the catering was inexpensive and the ordering process was simple and easy. Fernando and Jose were awesome! We are so grateful for their services, and will definitely be using them again!

Authentic, different, and quick!! Do you have an hour to kill at O'hare? If so go check out cilantro taco!! Cilantro is my second favorite herb ;) I won't mention 1st!!! N-E way so they had me at "cilantro" I just had to give this place a try!! Absolutely worth the trip, amazing tacos and very reasonable $$!! Restaurant is small looks like they cater to lunch crowd not ideal for dinner just quick fast food style tacos. I was most impressed by the verity of the salsa they offered, there is an authentic house made cilantro salsa you can purchase by bottle. I got one and used it on grilled fish, it was amazing!!! I didn't give 5 star as I was bit dissatisfied with service, slow and not attentive. I cleaned my own table before meal, cashier forgot to add chip & salsa on my order. My Cilantro salsa bottle was missed until I reminded him on my way out....

I have driven past the Stone Park location a few times but never had the chance to stop so when they opened a chain close to my house I had to try it out. Everything was great. The interior is nice, plenty of tables, clear menu to read, laid out well. The food is excellent. We got a burrito, a chicken and steak taco and a torta and everything was great. They didn't have any churros in when we went (noon on a Saturday) so that was devastating but it gives us reason to go back, not that we really needed a reason!

Food was actually average, service was a bit slow. Would have been 3 stars but I was violently sick the next day. Will not be returning

Every time I have been here the place is full. Their drinks are fun. For the designated drivers and angry drunks, I've been told that most all of their signature cocktails can be made into mocktails, so you won't miss out. Their food is delicious. They have a great menu and present food well, considering this is a party bar atmosphere. Not singling out this place, but I agree with the many who complain that street tacos should not be inflated from $2 to $6, just because they are popular now. When it comes to tacos, No Manches saves itself because they have many specialty versions, like ribeye, pork belly, and even cod. In every visit, many people check in on us to make sure we're doing okay, much appreciated. Also, their salsa verde is the best of all three salsas, try to fight me on that.

That said, the live music creates a high-energy vibe, so it's not the best spot for a quiet dinner or for kids. Perfect if you're looking for flavor and atmosphere. A couple issues with our meals however the manager made sure to fix them to ensure we were happy when we left. Well done.

Checked out this locally owned Mexican restaurant in Elgin. El Faro actually has a few locations…read more It has this one on State Street. A pretty standard menu of what to expect from this type of cuisine. There's of course burritos and tacos, along with more traditional items like tortas. Bare bones kind of place with not much of an atmosphere. It's got a counter to order at along with booths. There's just handwritten signs on the walls. A lot of traditional items. There's some that are unfamiliar to most Americans, though they should be able to recognize quite a few things. A bad thing is there's no alcohol. It's about $3 for Jarritos. There's also cans of pop. It's about $10 for one of the big burritos. The one we each got was the Burrito Vegetariano. It's got cheese and sour cream which I left off. There's also beans, lettuce, onions, peppers, rice, and tomatoes. Comes with some bottles of hot ass sauce to add to it. The rest of the menu has fajitas and seafood. Even though it's not pretty, it's still a good option for authentic Mexican. It's located on State Street. There's a lot of meaty items, but there's a few things for vegetarians.

The tacos were very good and flavorful. The fish was not the best would not recommend. The burritos was also very good and tasty. They also forgot a lot of stuff like try tortillas and drinks and our chips and salsa when we first walked in.
