Shrimp fajitas

Excellent space for groups, and several large groups were just finishing as we were arriving. Lots of comfy, small booths towards the back and excellent service. Everyone gets free chips and (delicious) salsa. Got guac that tasted fresh and we both enjoyed our entrees. Space is accessible for those using mobility equipment and bathroom is accessible too. Would absolutely go back if in the area again.

Stopped in at this Mexican restaurant while passing through Casey Illinois. Staff was friendly and the food tasted great. would definitely recommend this establishment.!!

Just look for the big taco.

Cilantro's checks all the boxes for a Midwest, small town Tex Mex joint. That means big portions at cheap prices served fast. It also means not always the most inspiring cuisine, and it also means a familiar menu with some American fried favorites. The good stuff: several nice beers on draft including Modelo, Dos Equis, and Corona. Undoubtedly the best salsa I've had served at a Mex joint in this category. It's really quite lovely, and I'm giving a 4th star for that alone. Finally, the place is kept very clean and is a vibrant, cheerful place to dine. While the food is quite good, there are flaws. Tortillas are acceptable, but are the rubbery things all too common at such places. Also, the fajita side plate was rather mediocre. Limp iceberg lettuce, whitish refried beans, greasy rice. You know the drill. This is a serviceable place. When I eat there again, I'll make sure I finish with the salsa to end on a high note.

Look for the giant taco. When passing through town we asked some people on the street for a dinner recommendation and they mentioned this taco place. Not much to look at outside but the inside was nice with large booths. Service was great and food came out quick. The menu has a lot of choices so be prepared to spend time looking for what you want.

I'm glad we came to Cilantro's while in Casey, IL. They had a good selection of food items in their menu, and of course, when I saw Lengua as one of their meats, I had to order some street tacos. They were pretty tasty! And they make their salsas in house, which is a plus. Corn tortilla shells are generic, wished they were made in house. Everyday they have a different drink special, we had a pitcher of margaritas for $15, and it was legit. Will be back again whenever I'm in Casey!

Very disappointed! DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY HERE! I was told this is the best Mexican restaurant in the area, so I was eager to try it out. I called in for a takeout order for a steak burrito a pretty basic Mexican food staple. I referenced the menu on Google to make my decision. The menu on Google didn't have a description of what was in the burrito at all but I figured it's pretty basic it should be the norm refried beans, steak, fresh lettuce tomato onions, cheese and maybe some cilantro. Right? I called just a few minutes after they were supposed to be open according to Google. The person that answered the phone sounded a little rude, maybe he was having a bad day already after just opening. He had a tone in his voice like he was annoyed that I called. He didn't bother asking me what I wanted on my burrito or ask me for my name. He said that it would be 15 minutes. I arrived after 10 minutes. I've passed by this restaurant numerous times because I work in the area on the road. They have a giant taco outside in the parking lot which I thought was fun and it always smells good as well as having numerous good reviews on Google. When I walked in to the restaurant it smelled very good and had a very nice decor and fun atmosphere. The staff was friendly when I walked in and I told them I was there for a pickup order for a steak burrito. The gentleman at the front counter went to retrieve it in the kitchen and I went to use the restroom. The restroom had a modern decor and it was clean, except for some funny looking wannabe gang graffiti on the bathroom stall door which was kind of hilarious to me since I grew up in Chicago and this is in a small farm town. Like seriously Anyway, I finished using the restroom and my food was at the front counter I paid and was surprised the price was only $6.66, I should have been forewarned LOL! The menu on Google stated burritos were $8.25 so I was a little surprised but at the same time happy about it being a little cheaper so I tipped $5. I went to eat my food before I made my next stop for work, opened up the container which I was first a little confused about and then looked inside to what appeared to be more of an enchilada than a burrito, with some type of red sauce and cheese on top. I was going to take the food back in but I was very hungry and just taking a quick lunch break from work and had to stay on schedule. I thought maybe this is just how they do their burritos for some weird reason I don't know? I took the first bite and it was horrible. The steak was very salty and over seasoned, the red sauce that was on top tasted like canned tomato sauce with some cheese on top melted and overall everything was cold. I couldn't eat anymore. I didn't feel like dealing with the issue because I was working like I mentioned and just taking a quick break. So I moved on to the complimentary big bag of tortilla chips and salsa that was in the bag with the burrito/enchilada. The chips were stale and the salsa might have been homemade but very salty as well. Overall a disappointing experience after I was told this was the best Mexican restaurant in the area. I guess coming from Chicago you have expectations and standards for certain foods. I will say their food is mediocre at best and I probably would have been better off going to Taco Bell. I can definitely do better myself. I will not be visiting again unfortunately. I feel like the person that told me this is the best Mexican restaurant in the area and all of the people leaving great reviews have never had good Mexican food coming from this small farm town and they just don't know any better. Honestly I would feel bad charging people money for the type of food I received. Not only was the food incorrect but it tasted like crap and was cold. I wish I would have known before leaving a $5 tip. Lmfao! And apparently they don't like being criticized on Facebook. They deleted my comment on one of their post about my experience and blocked me from their page. Great way to resolve things.

No waiting; very quick service; hot food. This is a pineapple dish with meat, chicken and shrimp with a blend of some veggies. Delicious

OK, tryed the new place out in Dougrr called Antonio's Mexican restaurant two , The food was good…read morebut here's the problem there's three of us and every time they brought a basket of chips it had 10 to 12 chips in it which is 3 to 4 chips a person and we ordered the large cheese dip so you kept having to order baskets of chips because there wasn't very many in them so on the fifth basket that only had 10 to 12 chips in it you had to pay for them so will not come back that is ridiculous. You've got three people and you buy a large cheese dip at $10.50 for the cheese dip and they're gonna be stingy with the chips. Ridiculous. Continue to go to Bloomfield or Lyons and there was no one in this place eating besides us. and we couldn't even finish the dip because I didn't have enough sauce to go with it. and it's not like I didn't spend enough money because our bill was $53.

Antonio's is a summertime staple for a group of my friends. We spend summers at a nearby lake and…read morealways make sure to have Antonio's at least once every trip - this time we made it twice!!! The food comes out piping hot every-time and is so so good. Everyone is always satisfied with their pollo on the beach, fajitas, tacos, enchiladas, chimichangas, and of course drinks, which are usually margaritas and beers. We talk about Antonio's ALL winter long and how we can't wait to have the best Mexican ever again soon. Antonio and his staff are the most kind, hard working people. Definitely try Antonio's and then you will want to keep going back!
