One of my favorite places to eat, has never disappointed, very clean and welcoming, staff is awesome, and the food is amazing.

It's not easy to find good vegetarian dishes at Mexican restaurants. The mushroom quesadillas was huge and delicious. Tea was good also. Big open room with good lighting. read more

Beware. You don't get tortillas if you order fajitas to go. This is the second time in a row that this has happened. Food is always cold and the place is dead. We only order (and reheat when we get home) because my 12 year old child likes it but there's plenty of "Mexican" restaurants around so we will go somewhere else from now on. Still a 5 star! Excellent food and service, the guys go out of their way to make sure you are being well taken care of. The place is CLEAN! Recently ate at another Mexican spot in town and it just didn't come anywhere close to Casa. The dining area is huge, plenty of space for groups. Very nice outdoor seating. This place is new since the last time I was in Charleston. I was pleasantly surprised by how good it is! They have a very nice selection. You can actually get good sit down Mexican dinners here. Unfortunately we won't be coming back here. You pay $15 a plate for them to only give you 2 scoops of food. You can literally see the bottom of your take out plate before you even touch it. Very stingy with the food. We even called and told them said they would give us more and they didn't. read more

In Charleston at a local bed and breakfast and we wanted some Mexican food and this place was recommended. Food tasted great. Prices are cheap. Alcoholic drinks are good. Patio is cute too! We definitely will be coming back to this place before our weekend is over. The only thing I would suggst is having music on the other side of the patio since music is only on one side of the patio. read more

Being back in the Midwest, it's hard to find a place that uses fresh products that aren't par cooked or flash frozen..casa Del Mar is a nice change from that.
