Very meh. And I mean *very* meh. I appreciated that they asked if we'd like the toppings grilled beforehand, which is nice. I definitely prefer the toppings grilled rather than raw. But here is where Ciminera's misses the mark... The pizza is *SOGGY*. I mean, I was shocked. I picked up a slice and it plopped down like wet cardboard. It actually really put me off, if I'm being honest. And that's a shame because it tasted pretty good! The next morning, I guess it had solidified overnight, and it was a better experience eating cold, next day pizza. This pizza is 100x better the next day, eaten cold. I totally didn't realize that I tried them 8 years ago. And I kind of poo poohed them. I'm sorry. Please forgive me. Because I decided to give their provolone pie a try today for lunch. And I was way more impressed. Maybe I should have tried that 8 years ago. Or maybe I wasn't smart enough to know really good pizza then. There's something about the mix of the provolone pie that works for me. The sauce stands out without being too saucy. They cook it to a perfect thin texture. And that cheese holds it together in a perfect blend with the crust. I'm getting this more often. I have learned my Delco pizza lesson. read more

Service and ambiance went down big time in the last few years! It's about as hot as an oven in there in the summer. I go about once a month, and every time, there's maybe 4 or 5 teenagers and one older woman and all of them yelling. No one wears gloves and I've seen them wipe the sweat off their face or their hair and go back to touching ingredients. I am ignored when I go in to pick up and I have to try and get someone's attention. Tonight the older woman said to a teen working there go help her. They never say thank you. Really?! Meh at best. Not bad. I like pizza. The dough is the dry kind, not buttery. Very dry also because they don't use enough sauce and it all dried up. Good cheese. Nice service for pick up. Not worth $15.50 For a large w/ peppers and onions. After leaving one pizza establishment because of non customer service, we went to this place. Didn't have the ratings from yelp, but it wasn't bad. Upon walking in there were 3 young people in there, 2 playing with doe (one was showing the other 2 something), did not leave, ordered and paid for pizza, then I sat down. I heard something drop, I got up, I saw one of the young females who made my pizza( that the doe was already in the pan) pick up a can soda and drink it, played in her hair and didn't wash her hands. Saying all that to say, cleanliness is paramount. Get pizza, and it was sauce on top of a thin slice of cheese, crust taste burnt. As I sat in my car, I didn't see anyone come in there, didn't hear any phone orders. I give 1 star because the delivery was fast, and the driver was really nice. I wanted to try the provolone pizza. I always seen this place when I walked or drove past. I ordered a large cheese, large provolone, and fries. The pizza had hardly any cheese it was really dry and actually a bit burnt. Decided it was too hard to call when outside of my duplex. We called at the one hour mark to be told it's on the way. An hour and a half later they said it was too difficult to call when outside so they left and the restaurant thought it was fine to leave us waiting for in total 2 hours for food never to show. Had to order from cocos since they have intelligent staff. If Ciminera's has not been so ignorant and rude I would not have left this review. Also to note we were told 30-45min when we ordered. Our delivery order was wrong. Inconvenient but it happens. However, when calling to fix it the girls taking the calls would not accept any responsibility and were totally classless. Aita represented herself as a manager which is laughable. She started cursing and hung up. When calling back Maguire claimed to be the manager and was better but still tried to defend her co worker. After still hearing Aita cursing in the background we asked to speak to the owner who was not there. I used to live about a block from Ciminera's and we would get pizza here every Tuesday for the $5 special. Although, whenever I visit the area, it's their mozzarella pie I'm after. I call this upside down pizza.the cheese goes directly on the crust and the sauce on top. Such a simple idea but it's amazing! No other pizza place has me coming back like this one. I arrive 25 mins later, And was told they were going in the oven in a couple minutes but, "The dough needs to rise" This wasn't Friday night during Lent. This was early Saturday night. I really like their mozzeralla pie. It's different then every other Delco pizzeria - cheese first, then sauce on top. Not as good as my favorite pizza ever... Franzone's in Bridgeport but a similar style and a much closer drive then Franzone's. Mozzeralla sticks are good also. As a pizza lover (who isn't?) I enjoy Ciminera's. This has happened 2 other times when they messed up my order, so I should have known better. I ordered a ricotta cheese and broccoli pizza and it came as a red sauce pizza with ricotta and broccoli on it. After waiting an hour when I opened the box I was so upset. I called and was told oh the girls that answer the phones are young. So does that excuse them. Maybe someone needs to train them the right way. The pizza looks like someone threw it together, and there was little scoops of ricotta on it. They wanted to deliver another pizza but after waiting an hour my daughter said it tasted bad. Who eats ricotta pizza and broccoli with red sauce on it. I threw it out and made a quick dinner. I will never do business with this place again. They cannot even cook a decent pizza or get the order right. If they cared they would have delivered the right pizza no matter what, but of course they did not. They made the mistake and that is the least they could have done. Too many other places to get a good pizza. read more
